I felt like staying in a less touristy part of town, so I chose this place. To be honest, it wasn't too hard getting to the train station & city centre & back. The tram is about 10 minutes walk away through some quiet pleasant streets, the tram ticket price is low, and it doesn't take long to get into the city really. The hostel rooms are fairly spacious and they're quiet, which considering the on-site bar is what you need. The bar itself was great too. The wifi works pretty well, the breakfast was alright, and staff were lovely. If you get the chance, walk to the outdoor beer garden in Riegrovy Sady, especially at sunset where you can walk up a hill and watch the sometimes pink sky. There's a good bar around the corner called Planeta that makes a delicious goulash and has good beer too, as does everywhere in Prague obviously.

Hands down one of the best hostels I've stayed in - and I've stayed in a few recently (other reviews pending). Friendly, knowledgeable and approachable staff. Clean rooms. Good facilities. This place is a little out of the way (took me about 30mins to walk to the main station - once I had my bearings) but that's totally reflected in the price. Will definitely stay here next time I come to Prague. Can't comment on kitchen facilities as I dined out most evenings.

Really enjoyed my stay here. The staff went above and beyond to make the experience fun and easy. Facilities are great and the hostel has a unique atmosphere. It’s a bit of a walk from the city center but it’s nice to be outside of all the main tourism areas and there are plenty of places to find good/cheap food in the area. Beds were comfy and the room is decent, would get 5/5 if the facilities were a bit more up to date.
