Seriously, just rating 2 stars for the fact that it's cheap. Nothing else is fine in there. It's really really dirty. I was actually kinda worried, it was risky to touch anything. And the bathrooms... well, not sure it was better to take a shower or to skip it, probably the same result. Also we had a room for 3...

Had an amazing three night stay at this hostel in a private 4 bed room. The reception staff were polite and very helpful. We also booked a cab for them for a very low price at 500! (£16) we were in the clock of "flats" next door to the main area. It was very well located and very private away...

This hostel is located close to all tourist attractions and public transport. My friend and I stayed in seperate single rooms, which were clean and furnished with the basics. Ideal for a short stay. Unfortunately the shared bathrooms were pretty much the opposite. From showers and toilets spread an indefinable ordor (including the smell produced by another guest who had...

Hostel is located near to the tramline and only a 20 minute walk from the historic centre of Prague. Rooms are clean and tidy - small lockers available. Only a few convenient plug sockets. Unfortunately, our stay was ruined by one bloke in the room who snored incessantly all night (admittedly, not the fault of the hostel). However, earlier that...

This hostel is in an ideal location, nice 'hostel feel', not the cleanest but not awful. The offered information about free tours in the city, leaflets on the counter - worthwhile. Overall a decent hostel. Lovely breakfast as you come out of hostel turn right and right again about 20 metres down road on right. Lovely walk from this hostel...

Really accessible. From the train station we got a tram straight into the city and we had only a five minute walk. The staff at reception were very pleasant, made the whole process very easy and had perfect English which made it much easier for us. The rooms were standard with lockers and a key to lock the room. Would...

The hostel was very clean and the staff were helpful. The hostel was standard in that the rooms consisted of beds and lockers but the room were spacious and the lockers secure. Furthermore, the private rooms were very nice and everyone in the hostel could benefit from the social area which included a kitchen, fridge, sofa and tables. The showers...

My friends and I were pleasantly surprised when this hostel let us check our bags for the day without having been guests at their hostel. We were denied by 2 other hostels so we were quite relieved when Hostel Emma allowed us to keep our bags in their lockers. I can't comment on the rooms but in terms of customer...

This hostel was in a very good location just a short walk from the old town and the main attractions of Prague. The building was old but well kept and our room was cosy and clean. The showers could have been a little bit cleaner but at such a good price we could not complain!

It was the worst holidays ever - thanks to Emma hostel. In our room - I'm not even joking - there were bed bugs. I was lying in bed and then suddenly I felt really itchy. Then I opened mu eyes and what I saw crawling on the wall near my head curdled my blood. It was a massive bed...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
