We booked a double room with extra bed as they offered us over e-mail.
When we arrived to hotel they gave us a double room without extra bed, but after complaint they immediately gave us one additional room, because it was evening and could not be done otherwise.
The next day they offered us another (third) room which has an extra bed.
All three rooms they looked nice were well equipped and clean.
Beds in all rooms are a little too short (problem for larger people) and extra bed (sofa) is totally uncomfortable.
There is also a problem in all rooms because it is not available not a single free electrical socket for charging devices.
The rooms on the seventh floor have a particularly nice view.
About cleaning…
The cleaner came to tidy up the room in the afternoon when we were in the room which is not a problem but what I saw is very big.
When the cleaner brought fresh towels she put them on the toilet lid before putting them in the right place…!!!!!!!!
Breakfast is self-service but the choice is too small for the 4* hotel.
Location of hotel is good many things are accessible on foot.
The nearest tram station is “Vodičkova” and metro station “Museum”
If you come to hotel by car you can have a little problem, with parking because you can not park on street if you are not resident. Hotel offer only parking by limiting the height or width of the vehicle to 1,8 m and price is 25 €/night, second option is parking in the garage of the Alcor Hotel where is price 35 €/night. So the best way is to park outside the center and use public transportation.
The staff was very friendly.

Lovely hotel - couldn’t fault a thing.
Staff were very friendly, reception staff acknowledged us every time we arrived and left the hotel, and the staff at breakfast were also very attentive and friendly. The breakfast was great, there was a great variety, we stayed for 4 nights and managed to have something different every morning. The rooms were clean and tidy, and for the reasonable price we paid, couldn’t ask for any more than that! They were serviced every day, bins changed, towels changed, bed made and tea bags etc replenished. The balcony was very small but nonetheless big enough for two people to comfortably sit out there. There was a well stocked mini bar, hairdryer, mirror and kettle/coffee machine. There is a roof terrace for guests to sit and enjoy a drink from the bar.
The hotel is in a great location, less than a 10 minute walk to Wenceslas Square.
We will 100% be back to this hotel if we we travel to Prague in the future and would recommend to anybody.
(We stayed in a superior double room with balcony).

The hotel is in a good location about 10 minute walk to the main square and 15 minutes from the train station. Upon arrival all staff were very friendly and checked us in to our room on the second floor overlooking the street. The room was clean, quite large and had a comfy bed. A couple of downsides were no electrical sockets free at all to charge phones etc but we just solved this problem by removing the plugs for the small lamps beside the beds. The air con was also quite loud but this does not bother me too much as I was just happy to have good air con! Free breakfast did not have a huge choice but everything we got was nice and for free I can’t complain! Overall a good mid range hotel to explore prague at a good price.

Prague was our last stop on a 4 city European Christmas market tour. Unfortunately, while the Christmas markets here were great, our hotel was disappointing.
First of all, there was no space to park our car upon arrival. Their small six car garage was full and the female desk clerk on duty didn't seem all that interested in helping us saying that we would have to try and park on the street and log into some website. Fortunately the other desk clerk offered to help us out by providing a temporary spot out front until a spot in the garage opened up. Second, it isn't all that close to the action. Old Town square is over a kilometer away and a good 20 minute walk. We saw dozens of other hotels that were closer on our walk there.
Our room was ok. It was on the top floor and there was a little bit of a view out the window. However, the beds were small and quite hard. The shower proved quite difficult for us senior citizens to get in and out of. It was also small and cramped. The cleaning ladies were good but in the evening when we desired ice for some drinks, it took multiple calls to the front desk and a half hour of waiting to get a small amount. Finally, breakfast was free, but there were not a lot of choices compared to the other hotels we had stayed at.
Prague is a great city, but the Hotel Amarilis is not the best option while staying here.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and it was just ok. The pictures online are definitely “representative” of the actual room. The accomodations I paid for was a “superior double” with a balcony. I’ll be honest, for a “4 star” hotel, and booking directly through the hotel, my hotel room was pretty crappy and beat up. (See pictures below)
Even the hallway leading to the rooms reminded me of college dorm housing or a jail cell block.
The walls were significantly damaged and dinged, the “mini bar” leaked water onto the carpet, the remote control to work the woefully small TV was missing a battery and the back of the remote cover was missing, and the shower took a long time to drain. I was basically standing in a pool of water as I got clean.
When I brought up my dissatisfaction with the manager (promptly the next morning since no one was on staff the previous afternoon) he wouldn’t offer me any money back (a partial discount) on my stay. Instead he offered a wellness treatment or a bottle of wine. I took the wellness treatment. And even that was just average. It consisted of a steam room (which smelled like dingey steam water), an infrared sauna (whose lights turned off and wouldn’t go back on), and a jacuzzi.
Overall I was pretty unimpressed with this hotel considering it prides itself on being 4 stars. I only chose to stay here because my buddy got sick and I wanted to stay near his Airbnb.
Frankly for paying $300 usd for two nights, I felt cheated. I’ve stayed in nicer rooms (better condition) for much cheaper stateside. Even in Vegas or NYC.. 🤷🏼♀️

Really hard mattress! I asked for and got a pad that helped some. Nice breakfasts.
The extra cost for fresh-squeezed OJ is worth it. Wheelchair accessible except the 7th floor viewing balcony and the front desk (up one step but they come to you.) Great part of town, handy to the tram system and to Wenceslas Square. Daily maid service.

We required a 2 night stay at short notice, the location was very good as was the price. The room was really nice. Very high ceiling and very spacious. The room was clean and had nice furniture. The bathroom was also spacious and had a bath which a lot of hotels dont.
The staff were polite and helpful any time we engaged with them.
I would have given the hotel a 4 rating but was let down by the breakfast. The hotel says it’s free breakfast so it’s basic, buffet style with continental breakfast items and a few hot choices. If you want fresh orange juice, omelette and some things then you have to pay extra for it. Also my wife has celiac disease and requires a gluten free diet, again we were offered a gluten free hamper for an additional price. Luckily we had some granola and rolls which we had brought ourselves. The buffet is also a cross contamination nightmare for celiacs, bread in with the bacon and pastries situated above the fruit.
We did enjoy our stay and would consider a return visit.

Dear Mr. Ronnie, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're pleased to hear that you enjoyed the location, room, and service at Hotel Clement Prague. It's wonderful to know that our staff made a positive impression during your stay. Regarding the breakfast, we appreciate your comments. We strive to offer a breakfast experience that aligns with the expectations of a 4-star hotel, providing a variety of options for our guests. As for the gluten-free selections, we understand the challenges that come with dietary restrictions. Our goal is to offer high-quality and delicious gluten-free options, which is why we provide a carefully curated hamper at an additional cost to ensure safety and taste. We’re glad you enjoyed your stay overall and would consider returning. We look forward to welcoming you back in the future and providing an even better experience! We booked this hotel due to its location and Google reviews. The staff on reception were not friendly, and never acknowledged us when arriving or leaving hotel during the day. Our superior double with a balcony was a big room but was lacking the 'boutique hotel' touches we were expecting - it was quite bare, only 3 hangers, and a tiny TV compared to the size of the room. Back of TV remote was also missing. It would be good to have a full length mirror in the room - as only mirror was in bathroom. The balcony was very small and a little scary to step out onto. We tried to go up to the rooftop terrace a couple of times but it was always closed. On the flip side, the air con in the room was a blessing in the heat, breakfast was adequate (enough variety for a few days), house keeping staff and staff at breakfast were lovely and went out of their way to be friendly and polite. I would only recommend this hotel if you want to stay close to Wenceslas Square and tram stops.

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and thought it was great. Staff at reception were always friendly, apart from one who abruptly told us there were no available rooms to check in when we got there at 11am (not that we expected it but we had to leave our cases there before check-in!) We stayed in a superior double with a balcony and it was comfortable & clean. There were a variety of breakfast choices and the staff were lovely. Hotel is situated in a really nice area. Would definitely recommend.
