For the reasonable price, Amarillis offers excellent facilities. Right from friendly check-in, well furnished rooms and strong wifi connection (yes its true!!!) everything was perfect during our stay at this place. The breakfast buffet too was pretty wholesome but make sure you dont go too late. Most importantly, it is located close to shopping area and within 20 min walk... More

The hotel location is really good - less than 5 minutes walking from Waslab street, the metro station Mustek and the tram. walking distance from the old city, Paladium and Charls' Bridge. the breakfast is great, the bed is comfortable. there's wifi all over the hotel and the staff are really nice and helpful.

A few minutes walk from Wenceslas Square so easily accessible to everything , but far enough away to be quiet. Decent clean rooms with breakfast included - no tea making facilities in room though. Some staff variety in terms of helpfulness! But would recommend in terms of price and location. Small spa suite on site which we used but unfortunately... More

In general, it is worth its four stars. Great breakfast, very good location, you can just walk to the old town, very comfy beds. The hotel is nice inside, although i can feel it is a bit old. They upgraded our room, which was nice. Problem with parking for check-in and check-out, because it is city center and there is... More

I would certainly book this hotel again, From check-in to check-out, nothing was a problem. The rooms were cleaned every day and towels changed. All other areas of the hotel were spotlessly clean. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic. The choice of food for the buffet breakfast was so vast, it easily covered anyone's tastes. I would definitely recommend this hotel

Very clean rooms and corridors. Vast choice of breakfast including cold meats, cheeses, salads, cereals, fruits and yoghourts as well as bacon, sausages, eggs etc. Only downside is lack of bar lounge. You would have to sit in the dining area as the furniture in the foyer is limited.

Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights 13-17/6/16 with my wife for our 20th' anniversary. It was perfect. The service in the hotel was outstanding. Every request was made to our satisfaction. Room was clean and cleaned on a daily basis. Breakfast was good and we eat dinner for 3 times at the hotel. The food was good and the... More

Nice, big and clean room. It has a good location and good service as well. 2 min walk to Wenceslas square, ~12 min walk to old square and 15 min walk to train station. Was definitely of good value considering the price we paid. Would definitely recommend!

I stayed here with my girlfriend and had a fab time. The hotel is in a prime location. The hotel itself is clean and the customer service was very good. Always someone friendly to help. The only negative was the safe in our room seemed a bit temperamental (room 511) it only worked when it felt like it, had to... More

We booked it after doing some research on trip advisor. We got what we paid. Decent rooms, decent look location. A good 1.2 km from the hotel but there are lot of things to do just 250 metres away. Very average breakfast but overall value for money.

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
