Rubezahl Marienbad Luxury Historical Castle Hotel & Golf is located in the heart of West Bohemia in the charming spa town of Marianske Lazne (Marienbad) which has been for centuries famous for its many thermal mineral springs. Rubezahl Marienbad Luxury Historical Castle Hotel & Golf which has been completely restored to its former glory, reopened in 2015 with modern amenities and provides a romantic luxurious stay for its guests where they can enjoy good sleep ,healthy gourmet meals in The Castle restaurant ,stress-free stay in a fresh environment, different wellness treatments including but not limited to different massages, detox treatment through Roman Bath etc… as well as playing in the castle’s halls the traditional card game “Bridge” and smoking cigars. There are plenty of opportunities for excursions and tours, as well as different outdoor activities for guests and their families or individually. At a walking distance, guests can also enjoy skiing ,horseback riding but most importantly is the“Royal” golf course which is the second largest course in Europe and is located 800 meters from the hotel. Guests can walk there or we can transfer them for free.

We spent our New Year's holiday at this gorgeous luxury castle hotel. This has been one of my most memorable New Years celebrations. The day we arrived it was snowing and the whole landscape looked as if it was right out of a fairytale. A gorgeous property with beautiful and spacious guest rooms, it has all the amenities to make your stay comfortable and to feel right at home. Wifi was excellent throughout the hotel. Breakfast buffet was delicious a selection of cold cuts, hot dishes and pastries. Excellent coffee. All the tables had beautiful white linen and fine china, breakfast was a wonderful feast. On New Year's day there was a pianist playing live music. New Year's Eve was simply magical, there was a 16 people orchestra and a live singer. We had a fantastic 7 course meal with oysters and champagne. There were fireworks and we had the opportunity to light sky lanterns. Very professional staff, everyone was very friendly and attentive! We also used the wellness facilities, they have a fantastic Indian therapist, I had a hot stone massage and my mum was also extremely happy with her treatment. Generally I travel quite a bit and have been to many spas around the world, and so has my mum. We definitely recommend the wellness treatments. The hotel has a prime location, there are many outdoor activities in the area. You can go horse riding which is right across from the hotel. If you don't ride you can simply just watch the horses wonder around in the beautiful natural surroundings. There is also a deer park which is a short walking distance from the hotel. You can feed them fruits and vegetables. For those who wish to ski, the ski lifts are right outside the hotel. We could see them passing from the window of our suite. There is also a Casino and a Royal Golf Club very close to the hotel. We had dinner at the restaurant on numerous evenings, we stayed at the hotel for four nights. Everything we tried was excellent. If you like steak tartar you should definitely try it with a glass of Czech beer. They also have an excellent duck dish and a chicken with mushrooms dish. If you like soup they have a great potato and mushroom soup. If you are looking to relax and escape in a fairy tale environment this place is perfect. Don't forget to visit the statue of Rubezahl which is on the grounds of the hotel. You have to first hop on your leg around the statue 5 times and then reach for his belt and make a wish. I accidentally walked pass this astonishing castlealike hotel that hides in woods on top of a hill in Marianske Lanze. Hotel staff took us in for a "tour" and showed me different room types and its wellness center, for I was not even their guest! The building is from 1900 but was abandoned, and only got purchased and renovated two years ago. Besides being luxury, the owner aimed to keep it as original as possible, so there is a strong historical sense immersed in the atmosphere. Walking through the lobby to ballroom hall, I was taken back in early 20th century. As I liked it so much, we decided to move here for a night. Mr Takis helped us to organize the room to fit all 5 of us, and shuttle to the hotel. All my families loved it when they arrived. Hotel surprised us with a beautiful welcome drink and a fruit platter. Its daily set menu is surprisingly cheap and with big potion and of course super tasty! My mum is vegetarian so she ordered spinach gnocchi that's is the best gnocchi I ever had. Breakfast was another surprise. Never had such personal and luxury experience for breakfast. Table was beautifully set with lots of choices of food. Mr Greg was in charge of all dinning area and he is funny friendly and passionate to talk with. I know I have written too much but I can't recommend this hotel enough. Staying here itself can be the purpose of visiting Marianske Lanze. Top service, great sense of history and hidden mysterious location makes this hotel a wonderland dated back 1900.

I had a pleasant stay at RUBEZAHL–MARIENBAD SCHLOSS WELLNESS HOTEL, one of the most famous castle, dating back to 1900 in west Bohemia. The hotel was fantastic and service was great. One of the best hotels I have stayed in a long time. I would strongly recommend this hotel.

I felt weird at this place. I have to say that it was beautiful. We visited the Café here. First we had to find it. We found completelly empty place. Some staff around…like Adam’s family atmosphere. One could order tea, coffee and one or two types of cakes. So we did so. The quality of items ordered and their service was perfect. One could not complaint. But still I did not feel good. What was wrong there? Bizarre atmosphere. Still I felt like I was not expected or wanted there. Is this place starting? Or is it ending? Nobody knows. But anyway, potential of this place amazing. It is not developed yet, though.

I fully recommend this Hotel. Quiet vicinity, perfect room service, very nice and proffesional staff. Rooms are clean and well equipment. Breakfast is served ala carte and is very taesty. Location of the hotel is a little bit far from the center.

When we visited, the hotel was newly opened.. just two weeks. Its a very different proposition from all the other hotels we dropped in at Marianske L. It had a tiny bit of a quirky ("grand budapest-hotel movie") feel. I would say its definitely a boutique hotel.
The helpful frontdesk staff told us about the history of this hunting schloss: had been closed for at least 25 yrs, and the new owner, a Greek, put all his love into it to bring it back to it old glorious grandeur of the 1900 (but with all the new amenities). It is refurbished with care, everything in the room was new, great up to date bathroom, fluffy towels, good mattresses etc. Its clear that the hotel invested in knowledgable staff: all handpicked very enthusiastic professional.
Breakfast was grand: so much food served on the table: perhaps also because we were with 2 other couples the only guests- yet.
The view of the rooms is splendid: the Schloss sits majestically up on the hill overlooking Marianske L.
Its a bit of a drive up: harder to find than the hotels down in town, and so the only thing is that if you would like to go to a restaurant you need to take the cable cart or your own car down (5minutes drive)
I wish this hotel a bright new future, its so nice to see that people with passion invest in renovating properties like these.

We‘ve been here for coffee & cake and it was just disgusting! People are nice, but the fruits served with the cake tasted like onions! Obviously they cut their cakes/fruits with the same knife as they cut the vegetables...

We spent the last days of 1017 and the first days of 2018 (6 days in total) in this wonderful hotel with our 3 children (4-7 years old). The hotel is fantastic: romantic for couples and very exciting for children. Rooms are spacious and beautiful and very well equipped. The food is excellent and buffet breakfast is very rich. The personnel is very helpful and professional. New Year Eve dinner took place in the main ballroom, with a live 16-member band, unforgettable 7 course menu, fireworks and gifts for every guest. The spa treatments were also excellent. At walking distance we visited a park with various deer and another park with miniature real castles. One can ski in the winter as there is a rather small slope but ideal for beginners and children as teachers are also available. We are really looking forward to another similar experience in this unforgettable place.
