This is one of the best hotel of this chain in Marianske Lazne. I would like to mention several main areas…. Room…Spa procedures…Eating. Room…We had an executive suite containing two small rooms with balcony and the bathroom. Rooms were nice, but not everything was working properly. Defect on the floor just behind the main entry doors was quite weird and the first impression was quite bad. It was not possible to manage the Air Condition system directly from the room even though there was some remote control unit on walls. This was second bad impression. There is a large TV in both rooms. Bathroom was nice, quite cold without any floor heating. Towel warmer in the bathroom did not work. Another bad impression. Bed was large enough, mattress was comfortable. But what was really horrible are pillows and duvets, sheets and total bedding full of some artificial not comfortable materials. This was really bad. Spa procedures were just perfect. I enjoyed many of them and always I was satisfied. Nothing to add. Just use them. Eating…We had a half board scheme. There was nothing I was missing during breakfast. Quality of all food was just perfect. Dinners were delicious. Buffet form of dinners is something you really enjoy. General conclusion? This was a really good stay. The staff here is really friendly. Atmosphere of the hotel is very positive. There are several details in the room which need some refurbishment, but the overall service, as I felt it, was above high average. Parking…it is possible to park your car here. There are not many parking slots in front of the hotel, so the service must be reserved in advance.

Unwind in style in this spa hotel built over the stunning Roman baths.
Comfortable, though slightly outdated rooms and a bed with the firmest mattress you will ever find.
4 or 5 hotels in the chain are linked by underground tunnel, so possible to use the Roman bath from all hotels. Clean saunas.
Restaurant is good quality buffet (and after cooking in the sauna a far easier option than wandering out). Breakfast also good, though unusual way of making omelettes leaves you with a sort of pancake.
All in all, like stepping back in time.
Staff though helpful are functional and borderline surly.

When I was staying there the hotel reopened after the lockdown just for a couple of days. The management and the staff tried their best to pamper every guest. When arranging our stay we learned that to recruite the staff which left during the lockdown was a huge problem. Not everything was perfect (massage lady could definitely be more professional), but the staff tried their best. The restaurant was lovely arranged and served excellent Moravian wines from winery even I did not know.
The hotel cafe was well frequented - no wonder, their desserts were to die for!
The bonus is Roman bath (with steam box, sauna and Kneipp walk) which is free for hotel guests.

On 16/01 I had a one-day trip to Marianske Lazne with my mother who is a travel agent. She always uses the opportunity to visit some hotels for professional purposes. This is how we ended up going to Nove Lazne Ensana.
The first impression was great: the building has an amazing architecture and a stylish palace-like interior. However when asking for a possibility to visit a hotel room, the front desk reaction was completely unexpected.
Usually the hotels are happy to show their product to the professionals. In our case the hotel staff was rude, you could read the antipathetic and annoyed attitude on their faces. This probably has something to do with the fact that my mother is Russian- still unacceptable attitudefor a 5 star hotel staff. The lady who talked to us struggled to find the right words in Russian and when offered to continue in English she responded very rudely that she doesn’t speak English (seriously?! :D).
In the end we didn’t get any information on the hotel services whatsoever and were not offered to see any of the hotel infrastructure. It’s the only hotel on our trip to welcome us this way. Definitely not a 5 star experience.

We visited this hotel with 28 friends in total, to enjoy a week of trips in the region with our motorbikes. When we arrived parking for our bikes foreseen and the welcoming at the reception was great. Then we got our rooms, and although the hotel is dated and so are the rooms, everything is clean and well maintained. Then we asked where the bar was, and we were told that the bar of the hotel was only open on Sunday evening!!! After some negotiation they agreed to open daily from 27.30 till 22.00 hrs. Appreciated, but not a nice bar to spend time in so we preferred to go to the bar in the neighbour hotel 'Patriot' where we were very welcome. Then maybe the worst 'surprise': The restaurant was open from 17.30 till 20.00 hrs. And this means you need to be out by 20.00 hrs. The restaurant manager was very rude to us, and although I ordered a very nice expensive bottle of wine he came to our table at 20.10 hrs to instruct us we should leave the restaurant.
On top, as a SPA hotel it was impossible to make wellness appointments, so we couldn't enjoy that experience either.
In summary, I do not recommend this hotel at all and will never visit again !

We did not stay in the hotel but booked a spa afternoon. It was lovely. Everything was very clean, friendly staff and nice things to do: 2 pools, 1 pool with whirlpool, 1 whirlpool, 1 sauna 90 degrees without clothing, 1 sauna 90 degrees with clothing, and steambath. Absolutely reccommend! We paid €27 per persoon for 3 hours.

I had a stay of 5 nights in the Nove Lazne, followed by 2 more nights in the connected Hvezda which I will review separately. They are quite different experiences though some of the facilities are shared. I travelled on my own in February 2023.
I had a wonderful time at the Nove Lazne. Attentive and helpful staff, excellent spa/wellness facilities, a lovely room (if a bit old fashioned) and very good dining for a buffet at such a reasonable price. I went half-board, so breakfast and dinner only, which was enough for me. I was delighted to be given my own table for the duration of the stay, with the same team of waiting staff all the way through. This was really good as they got to know what I wanted (as soon as she saw me in the mornings, Maria set off for my large cappuccino). As a consequence it is only personable to chat to your fellow guests whose faces you get to know, and as someone on my own I thought this lovely and charming. I spoke mostly Russian to staff and guests (good practice for me), learning some courtesy words in Czech, but it seems there are enough English and German speaking staff and guests about.
Food was pretty good for the challenge of setting out a buffet every night (though on one night there was a set menu and a pianist to accompany dinner. Really good). It is mostly Eastern European fare (fine for me, I love it), though I also noted plenty of vegetarian options. I might avoid the soup (too watery), but there was plenty of choice (and very good salads and bread). At breakfast they cooked up a fresh omlete for me every morning. Great.
I was delighted by the experience of the Roman Baths, and this is also accessible if you stay in any of the numerous hotels in the complex, connected as they are by a maze of corridors and lifts. Don't be put off by them, it is worth having a look around, and it also allows use of the fitness centre in the central hotel and the swimming pool in the Hvezda. I used both during my stay, though you can give the pool a miss if you are in the Nove Lazne: it is a bit of a walk for similar facilities and there are a lot more kids there, which didn't suit me. I also used the massage services and had a superb cup of hot chocolate in the Wiener Cafe. I found it easy to request what I wanted from the spa, and again very helpful staff that were friendly and efficient.
I have never stayed anywhere quite like this before and I really enjoyed the experience. It is cold in Marianske Lane in February, and I left the hotel only a few times for a walk in the general vicinity: it is a beautiful town, but very quiet during my stay (I am guessing the regular Russian tourists can't get money out to fund their holidays). I am likely to come again, and as a winter destination it is really top class for rest and relaxation. My body has been pampered and soaked and sweated and I have really switched off for once. Many thanks for such a great stay.

Excellent hotel with excellent medical treatment. Thanks to management for such a professional staff. Especially want to mention our waitress Julia, she worked very fast, very professional, dirty dishes on our table were gone literally in minutes, she is the best. Our massager Koutecka J. was excellent, I felt rejuvenating after her professional work. Our maid Veronika kept our room in such a clean and a good order that we felt ourselves like in really 5 stars hotel. Also special thanks to the reservation department under management of Ostap Makarchuk who reserved for us room that we asked. We liked restaurant and treatments. All in all hotel deserves 5 stars. The only minor wish is to replace the old TVs in the room with the smart TVs.

Since I really wanted to go to the "Roman Baths", we chose Nove Lazne. Overall, it looks a little plush, but very well maintained.
We had a junior suite (small, 20 sqm, but cozy) with a view of the spa park.
It was wonderful to be woken up in the morning through the open window (blue sky, clear fresh air) by the singing fountain on the colonnades. At the (good) breakfast buffet, the table is assigned and reserved with a name card.
The spa and treatment area is huge and varied, all under one roof. If you are not satisfied with the small (modern) swimming pool in Nove Lazne, you can make your way to the large swimming pool in Hvezda (above the spa park) (don't forget a sandwich for the journey!) - a 900! A 100-meter-long connecting corridor, partly underground and partly above ground via steps and elevators, connects several Ensana hotels with each other, so that you can get to each one with dry feet in your bathrobe. During the "hike" you are entertained with images and matching sounds (e.g. forest with birdsong).
My highlight was a relaxing bath in the "Roman vaults", photos of which you come across everywhere in Marienbad.
The "Wiener Cafe" in the hotel had wonderful cakes and snacks and an
exceptionally friendly and attentive waitress.

A little old school hotel with very friendly staff, great Roman baths and procedures. Central location, a few steps from the boardwalk, springs and the Singing Fountain. I recommend a trip to Kladská and Kynžvart State Castle. We lived on the 2nd floor of the hotel, when showering it always took a while for the warm water to start flowing and the water pressure was a little less (nothing terrible). The sauna in the Roman Baths, although marked as bathing suit-free, was often visited by guests in bathing suits. Perhaps this is due to the fact that the showers with cooling buckets are already in the swimming area near the Kneipp path and steam chambers. The guests of the hotel are mostly of senior age, no wonder, we are in a spa 😉
