The Krakonos hotel is quite convenient property for low budget customers. Due to its location very far from the city, it is quite difficult to reach all attractions and sights which offers the beautifull Marianské Lazne. Local public transport is very limited, both the cableway and the shuttle bus stops operating very early in the evening. The only way to go back to the hotel is to use the local taxi, which greatly increases the cost of the entire stay. Therefore, it is for everyone to consider whether it would be worthwhile to save on the price of the hotel, if you lose much more for transportation.

We stayed in this hotel with the family over the 2017 December weekend. Bought the accommondation voucher online, it was worth it. Young lady working as a front office manager was EXCELLENT, she was very helpfull and always kept smiling (that is the person you want to have in your hotel business). The accommodation comes with the half board. Breakfast is kind of the same all the time, no fancy stuff, bread, cake, sausages, eggs, vegetables, youghurt and cerals. The breakfast coffee is very bad (instant stuff, we would expect filterred coffee at least). When purchasing the coffee from the lobby bar make sure you ask for a real espresso or you will get the awfull stuff from the breakfast). The restaurant is kinfd of old with small tables. The cousine is basic, but OK. The WiFi if provided for free. The rooms were clean, TV set there at least 10 years old but it was OK, you do not come here to watch the TV. The balneo offers basic treatments, there is also nice salt cave with heated floor so you can walk there with your socks only - very nice with small child after beeing the whole day outside in the winter. The best part of our stay was the private swimming pool, opened 8 AM to 8 PM it had very warm water and rest sun beds. The pool area was clean, no lifeguard on duty. Be adviced you will be charged for the outside parking. There is The Bohemium park in front of the hotel, it is the outdoor exhibition of the castles and also technical monuments or a moving cable-car which goes to the Jested tower. The exhibited models are very faithful but smaller copies of the originals. Also the game reserve nearby the hotel is worth visiting. If you will be lucky you will get to feed the deer so bring few apples with. If you want to ski, there is a local ski slope nearby, or visit the free access of the mineral spring water of Farska Sourka, everything is in a walking distance. To get to the center of the Marianske Lazne you will need a car or to catch the public bus which only goes few times a day. The local cable car is only open during the summer.

We spent a nice weekend in this hotel. Our room in the 1st floor was nice and clean. The food was fine - breakfast as a buffet was good, dinner - it was said on our voucher that we get a 3 course menu (the reality is a little bit different - you get something like flavoured creme fresh for starters, the main course and vegetable salad / peace of fruit /cake for dessert). The staff in the restaurant and at the reception desk was kind. We used the hotel pool and some of their spa procedures. The only thing which was annoying was the smoking area right in the lobby (there is no separate lounge for the smokers). We visited the Boheminium Park (highly recommended) which is located 100 meters from the hotel. The city is very well accessible with the cable railway which is also located next to the hotel. Good relaxing weekend :)

We stayed in this hotel as a large music group and the whole atmosphere was very welcoming. The whole hotel is quite dated but charming in a beautiful forest setting. The group were in rooms of 2 mostly but we were in a room of 3 which was incredibly spacious with a bedroom of 2 beds and a living space with a sofa-style bed. It was very nice to have a bath in the room and the bathroom was huge. There were a few broken fittings but it was very clean. The general areas of the hotel were smoking areas but there was sufficient outside and otherwise space for places to go. The staff at the hotel were very nice in giving is space to rehearse which proved very important. Free wifi throughout was of a good speed. The food at the hotel was good, we had an evening meal and breakfast there on all 3 days. All dietary requirements were catered for at the evening meal and everyone really enjoyed the food. Breakfast was simple but everyone could find something they liked. Overall we I really enjoyed the stay at this hilltop hotel and would recommend it to others, especially larger groups.

The hotel is offering paradise for smokers. The other guests will suffer from the smoking area in the Lobby and the smoke goes up to the corridors upstairs. The elevator is recently built and is small and slow. The staff can't communicate in English. Some German could work. The view is nice from most rooms but the dining room which is overlooking into an ugly roof.!

A long way out of Marianske Lazne up a hill. Staff unfriendly, restaurant service is ok if you like it thrown at you. Breakfast little choice. I am suppose to make this review longer but there is nothing more to say except I would not recommend it to anyone.

Very difficult to find..; outside the city centre, you have to drive through park and forest, up a hill... of course when you arrive you are in the middle of nowhere, it's very quiet, peaceful; you can walk for hours and the town itself is very peaceful too. The rooms are dated, electricity needs a professional team immediately ! Hair dryer was fixed with sticky tape. Breakfast was OK. So it's up to you : do you like an old-fashioned tired place in a beautiful setting ?

This hotel has perfect location, around - near there are many places to visit by walk - Park Boheminium, fallow deer park, horse riding, downhill course etc. This place is quiet. Centrum is quite far but you have to count with this if you want hotel at quiet place. Offer of wellnes services is really large. We enjoyed them... really relaxing time. Pool is quite small but OK with long opening hours... Room - really nice equipment (the style of furniture, it does not look too worn out) nice view outside if you are more than 1st floor. Everything was clean, no problem with room at all. Restaurant/food - I think this is a biggest issue for hotel, breakfast are ok - ussuall bufet. But they have to work on dinners - not so tasty. They are trying their best. But also furniture in restaurant is looking "old school". Staff was OK ....

In this hotel, we spent wonderful week in september. The first small problem was found the hotel, because on the way, we have seen just one notice, nobody in the travel agency told us, that first time we have to drive out of city, behind the signboard Mariánské Lázně,and till than we will find the hotel. The second one thing, we didn´t like, was parking space - first day we parked on the hotel parking behind of the hotel and after than (6 days) under trees near the hotel, but althougt we payd for parking space for all of 7 days...
