I booked this hotel 4 months ago based on information shown on the hotels web pages. We arrived at 13.30 half an hour before the official check in time of 14.00 and as expected was told by the receptionist that the room was not ready . We therefore went to have a drink in the bar and returned 30 minutes later. I had requested when I booked a room at the back of the hotel on an upper floor but I was told that we had been allocated a ground floor room at the front of the hotel and that this could not be changed as the hotel was full. The room was the smallest hotel room I have ever seen probably about 10 foot x 10 foot and the bathroom was also the smallest I have ever seen with one person being able to stand in it with a small sink directly in front of you a shower cubical to your left and the toilet directly behind, there would not be space to take a step in any direction. The walls of the room itself were dirty and damaged and my wife found a dead insect and hair in the bed. The room as I have said was at the front of the hotel directly on a main road and opposite a junction with traffic lights, it must have had the worse position in the whole hotel. As I had had a drink we felt we had no alternative other than to stay the night tough I had originally booked for 8. I told the receptionist how very unhappy we were with the room and that we would be leaving after one night ( she did not seem surprised ).As the hotel is situated in on the edge of Liberec we felt that we would have to use the restaurant that night . The waitress saw us enter and sit down and a few minutes later a Czech family entered. The waitress immediately provided menus to them even though we had entered the restaurant first , I can only put this down to discrimination against non Czech's. The menu provided was nothing like that shown online and after a drink we walked out and found a small welcoming bar to eat in. We discovered that a wedding was being held in the hotel that weekend and it seems that priority in everthing was being given to the Czech guests attending. My wife and I have never been subject to such discrimination by hotel staff in the well over 40 years we have been using hotels..I don't know who has written the previous reviews but our experience was radically different and the information contained within the hotels website is also at variance with the facts as we experienced them. Avoid this hotel at all costs. To sum up I would say it was a dirty rabbit hutch with discrimatory staff,

I stayed there for 4 nights in January. The hotel is pretty new with some unique cameras, most of them having unique design. Mine was very modern looking, but I didn't liked the colored lights. One problem that I faced was that it was pretty cold and I couldn't get the room as warm as I wanted, even after I notified this problem, but other than that it has everything even Iron and ironing table (except slippers). The bathroom is really nice. Probably the walls are pretty thin because there was constantly some noise. The food was great and the staff very nice and attentive. One minus for sure is the fact that I had to pay for parking, normally it should have been included. Very close to the city center, 5 minutes walking.

I spent 5 nights here from August 8 to August 12, 2016. My friends shared a double room and I had a single. The room was small, but the view of the countryside was nice. The room had all the amenities such as an iron and ironing board, mini bar, TV with several channels (including English), tea and coffee. Luckily I had a small suitcase that could fit in the wardrobe. The breakfast was fabulous, with lots of choices. My favorite was the eggs and ham. The menu also offered crepes (palacinki), omelettes, etc. There was also a selection of breads, nuts, fruit, juices, yogurt, ham and cheese, fresh fruit you could squeeze yourself (with a juicer), tea you could brew yourself, cappuccino machine, etc. The staff was always very patient, helpful and friendly. We used this hotel as a base to visit surrounding areas, such as the site where the Czech, Polish and German borders meet, castles such as Bezdez, and the national park area, Czech Switzerland, where Europe's largest sandstone arch is. We had a car, so we drove into Liberec, which was a 12 minute drive away.

This hotel is really modern. Rooms are bright and comfortable with a nice view. The bathroom is pretty small but still nice. Great location, walking distance to the town centre, shopping centre, buses & trams. Lovely restaurants & bakery near by. Great for business or leisure.
