We took the train and then the bus, from there we walked to the hotel (I would characterize as moderate effort, definitely doable). Location – Excellent! Right next to the silver mine and St Barbara Cathedral. Pricing – we were very satisfied, our price was €53.00. The price included breakfast as well. Room – Very good. Our room was large... More

Wonderful small hotel. Staff great, friendly and helpful. Location perfect for the best view of St Barbara Cathedral. Rooms spacious, clean and maintained. Breakfast, lovely selection. Stairs up to bedrooms, staff assist with luggage. Thanks for a great stay

First impressions are great. Superb location, with views across the valley and of Santa Barbara. The room (4) was of good size and had great views of the above. Drinks are well priced but as yet I haven't tried the food opting to eat out on my first night.

My room was realy nice, clean with amazign view of Saint Barbara's Cathedral but the services were very bad. After we arrived at the hotel, I said at the reception, that there wasn't any toilet paper in our room. When we came back from our trip, toilet paper wasn't there either. Although the breakfast was included in the price, there... More

Chosen for us by our Czech friends, this delightful Hotel was a pleasant surprise. Our room with a view of the cathedral and overlooking the valley was large and comfortable with a fridge and nice amenities. The breakfast was excellent and the outdoor terrace dining area came with a great view.

We arrived at this unique hotel - the former mansion of the city's master organ builder - after a long bike trip with kids, from Pardubice. Although some steep hills made the final mile challenging, the result outperformed our expectations. With stunning views of the valley and the cathedral, this hotel catered perfectly to our needs. Our bikes good be... More

The location was excellent and the area it is located in is quite charming. We had an early dinner on the terrace and the atmosphere was very pleasant. The view of the walkway and cathedral were excellent. I thought that the food was delicious. I had 3 different types of pork with cabbage and dumplings. For some reason we had... More

We happened on this place and it was great! Wonderful staff and service, excellent restaurant - with indoor and outdoor seating - which a local guide told us was the best in town. Our room (#4), at 1200 crowns including breakfast, was spacious and comfortable, with amazing views of the cathedral and the valley. Room #5 costs a bit extra... More

This Pension (bed and breakfast) was notable for its location across from the Monastery and just down from St. Barbara Cathedral. The service was fine, although not exceptional. And the room was nice, again not exceptional. The price was a bit high in comparison to other Pensions just a bit further into the historical district. In short: This is a... More

We stayed here for one night whilst on a road trip across the Czech Republic and Germany. The room was clean if a little tired but excellent value. There is no lift. Through one window we had a view of the cathedral and through the other the old town. The hotel is in a pedestrian zone so we had to... More
