Great place to stay if your in Karlovy Vary. The hosts were very helpful and nothing was to much trouble. Breakfast buffet was good with enough of a choice. Room was large with a balcony which had a superb view of karlovy vary. Car parking is also available. The B&B is high up so the walk can be a bit strenuous But the bus stop is 10 yards from the B&B and there very regular. Next time i visit Karloy Vary I'll be staying here again.

Perfect location, just a short walk from both the center and the nature surrounding Karlovy Vary. The hostess was friendly and the rooms were clean. Everything was basic but that’s all you need. The views are amazing, and the breakfast was good as well.

I am trying to find words, which have not been used in the previous reviews, to describe our stay at Villa Rosa, but it's not so easy...
Our suite is warm, very clean and, like everyone else already mentioned, with a great view of the city!
The size of the suite is ideal for a family of four (children up to 5 yrs). The bathroom is new and always clean!
Coming to the breakfast, there is everything one needs to start the day and the wonderfully kind Wonder Woman, who takes care of everything in the house, is ready to cook an egg for you anyway you like it!
I have stayed in several "5 star" hotels so far, which offered several "in brochure catcher" services to make the stay enjoyable, but never managed to make me feel like not wanting to leave, as I do now...

I know that almost every review of this hotel begins by lauding the view, but the view is really that nice. Waking up to the town and river in panorama is a treat that should not be missed. Our suite was big and comfortable, with simple decor. Everything worked and the breakfast was very nice.

The small staff was friendly and helpful.

My husband and I have just returned from the Pension Villa Rosa in Karlovy Vary (not quite sure why it's listed under Prague on TA).
We arrived at the bus terminal in the searing heat with no idea of how to get to the pension. None of the tourist info places in the town had heard of it either! Luckily I had written the address down so we were able to get a taxi to take us.
The pension is a beautiful building and we had booked a double room with a balcony which gave us fantastic views over the town. The room itself was very clean and nicely furnished.
Breakfast was a very basic buffet. The rolls were sometimes a little stale but there was enough to keep us going.
The location is on a hill above the town of Karlovy Vary. We are reasonably fit so we didn't find the walk down too much of a problem (it only took about 10 minutes). However we always waited until the sun had gone down a bit before walking back up the hill as it was quite steep and wouldn't be fun in the heat. There may be buses from the back of the pension but it didn't bother us enough to look into this.

There's a reason that Villa Rosa is so highly rated. It's perched right above Karlovy Vary (one of the most picturesque places you'll ever visit). We had requested room
6 based on previous reviews and it did not disappoint, with commanding views and the lush Spring blooming before our very eyes.

Upon arrival Josef met us and it was obvious his English was limited. He communicated in Czech and me in Polish and it all just worked. He's so good natured and smiley that you can't help liking him immediately!

The room is spacious with good bed and individual doonas (like much of Europe). The room is well appointed and neat and modern, although the pillows are a little thin and could do with replacement. Tea and coffee facilities are a nice touch and there is a small fridge, safe and TV. The bathroom is compact but extremely clean. If some toiletries were provided, that would be great but that's just my personal opinion. Wifi is free and the connection is strong. There is car parking (for a fee) on site.

Breakfast takes place on the lower floor with a good selection of cereal, breads and condiments. They'll make up eggs for you as well.

The Villa Rosa's location requires you to walk down to the centre and it is hilly, but we did the walk happily a few times a day. It is about 10 minutes - easier down than up!

Karlovy Vary is extremely pretty - one of those places that you know you have to return to. I hope I'll be able to come back and if I do, I'll be choosing Villa Rosa for sure. For the price, you can't beat it!

This a great little place to stay to see Karlovy Vary on a budget. The rooms are big and clean and the views are great. The walk down to town is a short jaunt out the back gate.

The owner is very friendly and makes a good breakfast to order.

I would stay again or recommend to anyone looking to stay in Karlovy Vary without breaking the bank.

Fine place for some days to having a rest from routine life. This villa is very comfortable place. Our room had a balcony with panoramic and incredible view to Karlovy Vary. Breakfast was standard, but tasty. The hotel is located on a fairly high hill, but within the boundaries of the old city. To get to the center of the city – 5 minutes’ walk, easy to go to funicular railway and to the sources of water. So in the whole everything was nice.

Very nice hotel. Clean. Amazing view of Karlovy Vary! Family feel. Including breakfast and great price. Bad WIFI coverage in room 7 but amazing view over Karlovy Vary. Great place to relax and what is better with a great panorama and a bottle of wine.

Spent one night at the Villa Rosa before a day's skiing in Bozi Dar. The welcome could not have been warmer and we were immediately made to feel at home. The room was beautiful-nicely furnished with a balcony and spectacular views towards the spa. Unusually for the Czech Republic there were tea and coffee making facilities, as well as a fridge. There was also a safe deposit box. Parking was easy in the Villa Rosa's own car-park. The breakfast was fine and all in all we felt we had excellent value for money. We will stay there again next time we go to K. Vary. Quite a find.
