Me and my husband spent one week at this lovely SPA hotel and we really enjoyed our stay! The SPA was great! Nice and friendly atmosphere, mostly Russian guest and no nudity in SPA which was very comfortable and relaxing. Many different saunas with different “rules” however there was no even one person who attend the sauna naked, everyone has been wearing their swimsuits and showed respect to other guests. The pool is not so big about 16 meters long, but it is enough space to swim for about 4 people at a time and water is very warm. The hotel rooms definitely need some maintenance and refurbishment, but the spa and the atmosphere was really great and we are happy we found a place In Karlovy Vary to relax without nudists around which actually was our major concern. We will be glad to spent another lovely holidays here!

My wife and I were torn between this medical spa and wellness hotel and the more famous Grand Pup Hotel. We opted for this one because it offered far more spas and a plethora of treatments at a reasonable cost. Frankly, they offer some treatments that I am not sure I would want to try. Nonetheless, from check-in to check-out, we felt like royalty as the staff went above and beyond. The morning breakfast offered a wide range of food to include champagne. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The hotel restaurant was superb too. While the hotel across the street certainly has the fame thanks to James Bond and Queen Latifah, this hotel deserves to be recognized. I want to draw special attention to the doorman as he was phenomenal. I also liked the ability to park inside or out at a very low price. If you opt to stay here, you will not be dissatisfied. In fact, you can get something done to you that you didn't even know they did! After all, they offer Thai massages, a magic charm beauty lounge, a complete diagnostics center, and whole body cryotherapy. Now that's cold! I was amazed at all they offered.

The hotel is in a very good location opposite the Grand Hotel Pupp. We had the rooms in the simplest category, which were spacious and clean. The rooms were very well equipped (bathrobes/coffee machine/fresh fruit/fresh water every day/umbrella, etc.). The wellness area was very nice and, in my opinion, better than in the Hotel Pupp. Large pool, smaller whirlpools and saunas of all kinds. The breakfast was good and comparable to other hotels in the category (although there are also much better ones, because I have experienced a larger selection). We went out for lunch once and we didn't like the selection (buffet) and quality. But Karlovy Vary offers enough options (tip: restaurant in the Hotel Promenade - really very good). Service at the entrance was very good and the reception was friendly too. All in all, a recommendation, not comparable to really good 5* hotels (the same applies to me for the Hotel Pupp where I was in 2022) but at a good price. P.S. The house is a bit winding due to the old and new buildings, but you can find your way around.

If Pupp is fully booked, thats the only time, you should go to Carlsbad Plaza, unless you are crazy about all kinds of procedures that they offer. Wellness area is truly outstanding, however whole hotel is full of weird rules and procedures, which are simply hard to understand. For example you book a hotel and the breakfast is not included automatically, you have to pay extra. Car is not at the hotel, but on some external parking, so actually you have to wait 10 minutes for them to give you your car. Elevator was not woking, AC was not working, got info, that it is under maintenance and should be up and running soon, that never happened. Every day between 13:00 and 14:00 they close saunas, because they clean them. In the middle of the day when people are there, therefore all of us had to leave and then come back ? I asked why they dont clean them in the evening or morning when people are not there and the area is closed ? No solid answer. So after those small things which pile up in the end I decided not to come back. Pupp is in the approach to a client and service way higher.

The hotel is very classy, both inside and out. We were surprised with a fruit basket in the room. The bed was very comfortable and large, the room clean. Shower gel, towels, conditioner and body cream were provided in the bathroom, as well as slippers for the spa area. The pools and saunas were very empty and beautiful in the evenings. Drinks and towels were also provided in the spa area. The breakfast is very varied. The staff are very friendly and quickly helped when the room card no longer unlocked the hotel room. The only criticism is that a late check-out was not possible for us, unlike others.

We arrived before check in and with out any problems they gave as room. Hotel is old Russian style with old Russian people. We book 2 nights Relax packed too expensive 500e Dinner was 40e per person lunch 30e per person. Is like in Dubai. Welness was nice just towels they have still from 1984 .
Breakfast is nice,Program at night is very socialistic I advise you to book something else If you are not over 60+
Next time Definitely Grand hotel Pupp or something different.

Our short vacation in the hotel with children was really great. Since we have already stayed in several renowned hotels in Karlovy Vary, everything here was of the highest standard. A very tasty breakfast. The spa area was good, several saunas and everything was absolutely clean. Massages were also good. As was parking. Our car was always in the underground garage.

Positive points: Good location, nice reception. They parked the car in the garage, for a fee, but good service. The spa area was very nice and clean. Several different pools and saunas. The rooms were large and good beds, the room had a pleasant view of the surroundings. Calm and quiet at the hotel.
Negative points: Took time with the check in, a lot of documents to fill in. The restaurant was terrible and we were so disappointed. I have never eat in such a bad hotel restaurant, would give it a maximum of 1 star rating. Nothing on their website about the restaurant or menu is true and the food (if it can be called that) is not eatable. In the evening we had to go over to the Grand hotel to get a nice atmosphere and drinks that were drinkable. Even the breakfast was mediocre.

The location of the hotel was excellent, the facilities were high quality and the staff extremely pleasant. The sauna area was always pleasantly empty and the detox treatments were of outstanding quality, I would particularly like to praise Dr. Farida Omarova.
Unfortunately, there was a significant problem with the valet parking: although we had paid for an expensive hotel parking space, our car was not there later when we went to pick up some things at around 7 p.m. There was no one to bring the car or help us collect our things. They said that our car would not be available until 7 a.m. the next day and we had no way of getting to the car. For a hotel of this class, such an oversight is unacceptable.

The best and most upscale vacation for our family. We decided on the hotel immediately after reading the reviews and never regretted our choice!
