We arrived before check in and with out any problems they gave as room. Hotel is old Russian style with old Russian people. We book 2 nights Relax packed too expensive 500e Dinner was 40e per person lunch 30e per person. Is like in Dubai. Welness was nice just towels they have still from 1984 . Breakfast is nice,Program at night is very socialistic I advise you to book something else If you are not over 60+ Next time Definitely Grand hotel Pupp or something different.

Positive points: Good location, nice reception. They parked the car in the garage, for a fee, but good service. The spa area was very nice and clean. Several different pools and saunas. The rooms were large and good beds, the room had a pleasant view of the surroundings. Calm and quiet at the hotel. Negative points: Took time with the check in, a lot of documents to fill in. The restaurant was terrible and we were so disappointed. I have never eat in such a bad hotel restaurant, would give it a maximum of 1 star rating. Nothing on their website about the restaurant or menu is true and the food (if it can be called that) is not eatable. In the evening we had to go over to the Grand hotel to get a nice atmosphere and drinks that were drinkable. Even the breakfast was mediocre.

We are very satisfied with our stay at Carlsbad Plaza. Superb service and breakfast, We do have some deductions to service quality at Wellnessland and Saunadorf: 1. Maintenance personnel entering Wellnessland and Saunadorf with street shoes (and street clothing) with no shoes protection. 2. Several guests mostly females entering Wellnessland and Saunadorf partially with street clothing, service personnel only partly reacting in most cases 3. Wellnessland service personnel accepting loud conversations in pool area between 2-3 or more quests without reactions. This may be polite to involved quests but not considering the remaining participants.

Dear Andrej, Thank you for your review. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay in our hotel. Maintenance staff, like everyone, should always wear protective shoe covers at a minimum. All guests should observe the dress code that is in place throughout the Wellnessland Alt Karlsbad. Unfortunately, our staff cannot supervise all guests and can only remind them to follow the rules of the premises. As far as conversations between guests are concerned we cannot do much and rather nothing. Guests should of course be mindful of their surroundings and think of other guests who are in their vicinity. Again, they can only be warned by the staff. The hotel very good , service very poor reception very poor We checked in to the hotel and Anna was the lady who done the check in we told her we would like a good room so she said she will show us a room but it’s supposed to be upgraded and we need to pay 100 euro for the two nights When we agreed to do so she back down on her word and said no we are suppose to pay 149 euro we told the lady to speak to the duty manager to ask him that she said 100 then she said 149 she refuse to do so , so we stayed in our comfy room this is the name of the room The room it’s self is very small for a spa hotel As for the room service very bad they knock at our door we told the cleaning lady we need half an hour and then they can come over and clean the room the lady did not like it and she just push the door open and went inside to the toilet and without taking any notice of our surprise as this is not a 5 star hotel service also they only put two bottles of water free and the second day no water and they said we need to pay for it Breakfast was ok Location of the hotel excellent the spa very good but the sauna not all are working And all the facility are controlled by the staff in the spa Only working after 2 pm…

Dear Sana, Thank you for your review. We have thoroughly reviewed all of the above comments with our staff and the relevant department managers. Regarding the room surcharge, the receptionist Anna showed you the rooms you requested upon arrival with the information that the surcharge for the higher room category would be over 100 EUR, but she will let you know the exact amount when she verifies everything at the reception. After being told the exact amount (149 EUR) you decided not to upgrade and stay in a Comfort category room. Comfort category rooms, like all our rooms, are equipped with custom Italian furniture, luxury accessories, quality bed linen and comfortable mattresses, coffee machine, modern technology or air conditioning to meet the requirements of our demanding clients. However, this is our cheapest and smallest double room - please see our website for full descriptions, photos, floor plans, or 3D tours. We have also investigated the maid situation. Unfortunately, there must have been a misunderstanding, it was certainly not intentional. Our maids always do their best to respect the privacy of our guests and accommodate all requests. The Saunaland premises are open from 14:00 to 21:00 on weekdays and from 10:00 to 21:00 on weekends. We therefore recommend that you come at these designated times for a better experience next time. However, the rest of Wellnessland is open every day from 09:00 to 21:00 even without service. We are sorry that you were not satisfied with your stay, as is our custom. Excellent stay. From the glass of Prosecco to our well appointed room, all was first class. I thoroughly enjoyed the saunas and the swimming pool and the breakfast buffet was superb. Well located just across from forest trails. Highly recommend this hotel.

Nothing to complain about. Nice hotel, nice staff, good experienced massage, deluxe breakfast, nice bar. So really nothing i could ask to do better. The only thing that one can really skip is the fish treatment - as only very little fishes left in the pond that is not an experience at all. But we pre-booked that treatment, but got it refunded without any problem. Also here everything was solved in the best way To be repeated

As mentioned in my headline, we appreciated mostly the Spa at this hotel which is outstanding and extremely luxurious. The Spa employees are all very professionel and we have been more than satisfied with their service, epecially with the massages. The rooms are a bit of a different story. they are not very big, though extremely clean. We could not quite understand, why we were placed next to the elevator on the top floor, whilst other rooms have been unoccupied. In our opinion we would recommend not taking room 681, as you can hear the elevator quite well. One bit of advise to the manager: Why on earth do you use the uncomfortable Security (Hooked) Coat Hangers? I know, this is mostly done for anti-theft reasons, but give me a break: Who, paying such high prices in a 5-star-hotel would go and steal coat hangers? In fact I have never seen such coat hangers in any of the 5-star hotels I have been. And I have been in many! The breakfast is their jewel, as this was of such a great variety, as you cannot see in many hotels of the Czech Republic. Mind you: I cannot understand, why they let guests into the breakfast room barefeeted (!), which is ok for a cheap 3-star beach hotel, but not a luxury hotel with 5 well-deserved stars. I mentioned this to the receptionist at the breakfast room, but unfortunately to no avail at all. Otherwise we cannot complain, especially the staff was always very friendly, especially their doorman at the time we were there. If you get an offer from them, which is some 20% off the normal price, as we did booking over their internet page, we would recommend it. But compare the prices to the Grandhotel Pupp, which is not far away (just over the river) and also offers top luxury.…
