I’ve booked here a two weeks spa package with comprehensive treatments,, the package was completely worth the price as all went well and was satisfactory in terms of the treatments, procedures, accommodation… etc. the place is extremely clean and comfortable, I had a half board stay were the food was plentiful and diversified though repeated often. All together very nice spa in the woods with all its facilities.

Our stay here was very disappointing. We came in expecting a luxury spa hotel with wonderful service, and perhaps our expectations were too high. It was certainly a letdown when nobody spoke a word of English, making it impossible for us to book any treatments. The service was terrible and the staff was rude, looking away when we said good morning or hello. We spent the day in the (very cozy) city, and got very little spa experience out of our stay. This place may be cozy if you’re Czech and speak the language, but if you’re not used to unfriendliness and bad service, don’t come here.

We've been coming back regularly for about 5 years now, both a a couple and lately as a family of 3. We now know some of the staff and it's lovely coming back and feeling very welcome. We love the hotel's quiet location in the middle of a park. It helps us switch off and relax. So does the great swimming pool and wellness area. Breakfast could have some more variety but it is tasty. Lunches and sinners are great! Always a good choice between meat, fish and veggie. Most visitors seem to be elderly Russian or German couples so there's no partying at night and you get a good sleep :-) The rooms are spacious and well fitted. It's a historical building so it can have its quirks but any issues we've ever had were resolved quickly and professionally. We've just spent a post-covid weekend there and can't wait to go back again!…

Parkhotel Richmond set in a beautiful park on the right bank of the river Tepla on the edge of the town. Walk to the center approx. 20 minutes. Price of the rooms depends on a type of a room (quite a number of choices). The barhrobe in each room; no body lotion. The staff are very helpful and professional. Healthy food (anyone can choise from a huge scale of options: veg, fruit, fish, venison, beef, desserts). Swimming pool, whirlpool, pool with thermal water and saunas ( we loved lavanda herb steam sauna the best). Parking in the hotel area with extra charge (100 czk). A perfect option as for a short stay and a longer term stay. Only problem was the matrases- too soft.

Nice hotel set in a beautiful park on the edge of the town. Walk to the center approx. 15 minutes with a pleasant walk. Spacious rooms. Good breakfast. Swimming pool and saunas. Parking in the hotel area with extra charge. A good option for a short stay.

We attended a birthday party in a separate room of the restaurant: excellent food , comfortable environment , friendly service make this restaurant a very convenient place for family parties in a picturesque place of Karlovy Vary.

We stayed here for two nights over Easter. Our room was upgraded to a newly renovated room with a sitting area. All the fittings and fixtures in our room were of a high quality and well looked after ( I cannot speak for the older rooms). The pool and sauna area were very nice. Food was ok, but the eating times could be a little longer (evenings 17:30 - 19:30!). The old part of the town can be easily reached on foot in 15 minutes on a very wide promenade by the river. During the day it is so full !!, but after the day trippers go, it was so much nicer to stroll through the town in the evenings. We plan to return with a larger group and will probably pick this Hotel as it is well place, well priced and is generally well maintained.

It’s a good hotel , we had a diet program , food was good and staff helpful and friendly , also they had band nights which was great. It’s not far from the fountain and the actually have a fountain in case you don’t want to walk

I stayed at the Richmond three times and everything was okay, because I stayed in the main building. Today I got a room in the strange appendix. The room is not for 4* hotel. I got old furniture and dirty walls. The most awful thing that I see construction work from my window and of course, I hear it! So nice to go on vacation and wake up with the noise of excavator and wonderful conversation of construction workers. I went to reservation department and I was shocked by communist service… They told me that if I don’t like the room I can go to different hotel…. Thank you very much! I wish you to have the same holiday as you organized for me! Communist time really did something wrong to people’s brains… This is my last time in this hotel.

The hotel is situated at one end of Karlovy Vary in a very nice and peaceful surrounding. It is however not far to the town centre. It takes you approx 10-15 min. walk to reach Pupp hotel. The etrance and the building looks pretentiously as well as the lobby hall. The receptionists were very kind, helpful and efficient. They let us check-in two hours earlier which was very helpful. Parking car is possible in the hotel grounds - there is a parking attendant who allocate your parking place and he supervises all the cars all the time. The room was nice and spacious as well as the bathroom. What we did not like was that although the room was declared as strictly non-smoking it was evident that it has been a smoking room for a long time. The smell was quite horrible and we improved that a little bit by keeping all the Windows opened for our entire stay. We were lucky to that as the wheather was nice and warm. Breakfasts were just ok, I would welcome more variety, particularly on fresh fruits and vegetable side. Ufortunately we did not have a time to visit spa, which looks good on pictures, so I am unable to comment on this.…
