Stayed here as part of a tour group. The old world charm is captivating, and translates to carpetted hallways and bedrooms, mine on third floor, reached by stairs altho there is a two person lift! Magnificent en suite with heated floor (its a spa town). Queen bed even for a single. Restaurant down on ground floor very grand and food portions good quality and large! House wines average, and not much English spoken.
I stayed here for the weekend with a friend and it was my first time in the Town and a lovely little place it was too. The hotel is in a wonderful old building with good quality meals in the evening and also at breakfast time. The staff are great and can manage quite a few languages including German and Russian. Well recommended but it has no pool .
We stayed here for a long weekend and really cant fault the hotel with the rooms being very spacious, clean and comfortable, The only thing which is minor is no air conditioning which was fairly uncomfortable but no issues. There is ample secure car parking to the rear of the hotel which is a bonus and you really cant fault the breakfast service with a very big selection situated in really nice surroundings. Great staff and a friendly service just highlights the opinion that we will stay here again next year.
If you're driving a car to Karlovy Vary, know that street parking is extremely limited and that this hotel has 3-4 golden parking spaces directly in front. The location makes it prime real estate because you're only a 5 minute walk to many of the city's attractions. The room was comfortable, the bed soft, and shower was strong (and very hot). The wifi was a little spotty but I can forgive that. The lady who helped me was very warm and friendly and even gave me a parting gift upon checkout. There is a restaurant in the adjoining building that was very good and affordable. I had the goulash and was not disappointed. I'd definitely stay here again when in Karlovy Vary. Thank you for your hospitality.
We stayed at Hotel Embassy for two nights while on vacation touring the Czech Republic. The hotel has a great location on the Tepla River and Nova Louka and very walkable to many key sites, restaurants and shopping. The hotel and rooms were very comfortable and clean and we had a great view of the river and beautiful historic buildings in Karlovy Vary. The hotel staff was extraordinarily helpful and friendly. The breakfast room was very pleasant and there was a good selection. Wi-Fi was good. The parking for the car was very convenient and just a short walk behind the hotel in a fenced and locked parking lot. Very nice stay!
