My wife and I stayed here for three nights in late September, ‘22. It is just the kind of place we like – lots of character and charm, small yet large enough to provide privacy, a number of upscale features without being exclusively expensive. We enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return. The location is excellent, near the Grand Hotel Pupp, at the beginning of the river promenade, not far from the Opera House. There are many shops and restaurants nearby along the promenade on both sides of the river. The hotel has a number of reserved parking spaces along the promenade, and more in a lot nearby. The lobby/bar area is cozy and there is an excellent restaurant that connects with the lobby (we ate there one night and recommend it highly). The front desk staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Our room (201) was very large, with windows facing the river and promenade. It was tastefully decorated with period-style furniture. There was a comfortable 4-poster canopy king bed, two night stands minibar, desk, two arm chairs and a small table, a sofa, and a large armoire with safe in the entry way. The large marble-tiled bathroom was very attractive, with a separate tub & shower, and a nice amount of counter and shelf space. The room had radiator heat which was effective and responsive. There wasn’t a.c. but this would likely be unnecessary most of the time. Wife was strong and fast. Breakfast was served in a very pleasant central atrium area and was excellent. Overall, we recommend the Embassy very highly if you like a smaller hotel with character, comfort, and good service. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.…
Spent one night at this hotel while visiting Karlovy Vary. Definitely recommend it. Very nice hotel in perfect location. Staff very professional and friendly. Valet parking. Clean rooms and nice views. Terrific breakfast with probably the best breakfast and service ever. Will definitely return.

We were here for the vacations, and we left very satisfied this place. The rooms were very nice everything perfectly organized. The stuff very friendly and attentively. Also its central location makes it easier enjoying the other attractions of the city. Therefore my message is when you decide to visit this city this place is the right choice.
We stayed here 3 nights and were very happy. The breakfast was really good in a very quaint area downstairs. The waitress was super friendly and very helpful. We had a four poster bed which was very decadent! The room overlooked the river and was very comfortable. It's a spa town so people go there for the mineral water which you see everyone drinking in little spouted cups.
We stayed the first time in this hotel. We was met by manager Danny. Many thanks him. He was friendly and explained our location and answered questions. We was very tired, but we saw our room we was happy and had positive mood!!!!! Our room was big, very big, comfortable, calm and warm! There was very clean and nicely. On the next day we really understand, that the hotel has the best location for promenade and for go to up-grade by step or by funicular. The funicular is nearly. Many thanks the staff this hotel. The breakfast was deliciously. Many dishes, many fruits, many kind of juice.....and baking! And ... of course about the restaurant, that was location on the first floor. It is the best cuisine! Our holiday was beautiful. We really had relax and we wanted come back! Many thanks owners for beautiful holiday, for beautiful hotel! …
A small family owned very nice hotel that deserves 4 1/2 stars. Great location, SPA, friendly staff, rooms overlooking the river, big rooms, great breakfast and near to everything. I can definitely recommend it if you are looking for a smaller hotel outside the dragon league.
This charming little hotel feels like a real home from home. From the friendly & always smiling young receptionist, all the ladies at the breakfast and the fantastic & richly atmospheric in-house restaurant, with classy wines & even classier waiters, who treated us like royalty at the dinner and their service was absolutely impeccable. Everything is simply top notch! It is situated in the very heart center of Karlovy Vary's old town, close to all amenities, with a wonderful La Prairie Spa and free parking just in the front of hotel. The rooms are comfortably furnished, cozy & stylish. We have had a magnificent view of the river Tepla and the promenade. Big thanks to the charming manager lady! We just wanted to let you know how greatly we appreciate everything that you personally and your staff do for your guest. Can't wait to be back!…
Stayed here as part of a tour group. The old world charm is captivating, and translates to carpetted hallways and bedrooms, mine on third floor, reached by stairs altho there is a two person lift! Magnificent en suite with heated floor (its a spa town). Queen bed even for a single. Restaurant down on ground floor very grand and food portions good quality and large! House wines average, and not much English spoken.
I stayed here for the weekend with a friend and it was my first time in the Town and a lovely little place it was too. The hotel is in a wonderful old building with good quality meals in the evening and also at breakfast time. The staff are great and can manage quite a few languages including German and Russian. Well recommended but it has no pool .
