SPA AT ITS FINEST Elegant art nouveau facades adorn the six houses that make up the Spa Hotel Dvorak in Carlsbad. The hotel has an exclusive location, directly by the Tepla River on the 'drinking colonnades' where the healing mineral spring rises - the jewel of this spa town with tradition. The centrepiece of the hotel is the spa and wellness area.

Since my last-year stay nothing much change and that's not a compliment. The pool and wellness facilities are still not in good condition – showers are broken, lockers without keys and so on. Due to coronavirus lockdown, the hotel was closed and after reopening, the prices for rooms dropped at the half to attract local guests. This step had an impact on a breakfast buffet which is now very basic. The hotel is also understaffed – there's no desk clerk after 8 PM, only a security guard, and there's also not enough chambermaids, so one day our room wasn't tidy up and we were left without clean towels. I can't recommend this hotel any longer. Definitely not worth your money.

Location, rooms and service is very good. Very nice swimming pool and sauna facilities available. Food variety is limited and personnel don’t speak English well. Generally price quality is very well for such a nice hotel

Yuriy Tishchenko 2/5 just now on Google Service in hotel is very poor. Receptionists not friendly. Spa service is terrible. You have to wait 2-3 hours to wait on line. Can’t provide the orders by phone. They live to keep you physically on waiting line to order some spa service.Cleaning service is funny. They change the bed stuff once in four days. Working in cleaning service most of Ukrainian immigrants with big mouse. Rooms need renevation. Deluxe room with has very small balcony. Room in hotel looking big but in real too small. I was in deluxe room with balcony. To get any service you have to call managers. That’s only way you can get any service. Will never stay again and this hotel. Good thinks:good breakfast and night bar with live music on the first floor

The Hotel is a good three star hotel and the service is about an average three level so I do not understand the four stars superior sign over the front door. The rooms are the european average, cleaning is not too bad. Many lamps are out of order, the carpet is dirty all over the building. The breakfast is average, lunch and dinner is fix priced self service all you can eat meal for more than double price compared to the restaurants nearby. 35 Euro/person plus beverages. Spa is overpriced too with limited services. One old fashioned pool and some health services provided by foreigner staff mainly (russian, asian). English is not spoken so they do not understand you, mix up your name-, room number-, easily get lost. This is not a four stars level. When the light went out in the room at six pm and I got to the reception they were angry as I did not want to to accept the explanation that the mechanic had gone home.. Well I ususally need lighting in the evening. So this is not the one we like.

I was in Karlovy Vary for business trip, not for leasure, thus, I used this hotel just to sleep and eat, and for swimming. No procedures. Hotel is a bit old but it add some charm. Room is nice, however, would be even better if they do something with light. You need to turn all lamps manually, that is not convinient. Bed is ok, but it's strange they do not have wide sheets and use two of them to cover bed. Blanket is a bit short for me (I'm 1,75 sm), thus, this might be a problem for taller persons. Breakfast is fine standard hotel breakfast. Without any healthy options. However, they have gluten free bread and lactose free milk, that is very good. Dinner is somewhat overpriced if you are tasking it without prior notice (about 32 euro) but has a good choice of meals. Swimming pool is warm. I think, it's more for medical excersises that for swimming. Personnel speaks Russian and English. Seems like they prefer Russian and not so fluent with English. I'm surprised with comment below for overpriced taxi. Seems, we contacted with different persons at the reception as I get a taxi to Nove Sedlo (16 km from there) for 285 krones. Person at the reception also allow me to leave my bag till 4 pm. However, they did not inform me that I forget my glasses in the room during check-out despite the fact that I came to hotel back in 5 h after check-out for my bag.
