A very nice hotel with big rooms. Our lodging was actually a two room accommodation with a very spacious bathroom with a balcony. I like the Victoria Style and it’s very close to downtown and the river. It’s a great place and location. The bed was super comfortable with very large fluffy pillows. The other room has a pullout couch (double bed) with small frig and water cooker
Centrally located on hill top overlooking the Collanade. Spacious, clean and comfortable rooms with modern amenities and large screen TV.... unfortunately no English Language Channels! Lovely breakfast included in price of stay with hot and cold entries; 7-10 weekdays and 8-10 weekends. Recommend this hotel for all, except the elderly (unless they have a car)... aa steep walk up/down hill required to reach hotel. On site parking is available.
Great hotel in great location with good parking. Walking distance to all KV water springs and attractions. Good solid breakfast in stylish eatery. Rooms are very spacious, beds comfortable, baths too. Great view from top floor lux room ( more like penthouse :) over main street. Will surely stay here again upon another visit to KV. Oh yes, did I mention kind service at front desk ?
Beautiful hotel at great location. Just couple of minutes to the main street. We had a big apartment on 3rd floor (No.9) on the corner with great view to town and with balcony. The apartment consisted of a large bedroom with sitting area and TV; one room for breakfast / tea / coffee or snacks with big sofa, table, fridge and coffee maker; large lobby and large bathroom with bath and shower. Everything was very clean and tidy. WiFi was working excellent. Parking was private and free at location. Only TV programs on Czech language. Couple in Russian and BBC news. Staff was very friendly I would recommend it to anyone
The hotel has parking lot, nearby center. You just need to walk 2 mins to center. The room is soooo spacious and clean. Love it. View from hotel is also good. Enough lights from windows. The staffs are helpful
We had the luxury suite, although it is "luxury" 3 star quality, not 5, its very spacious and well equipped. We very much enjoyed our stay. Pleasant, helpful staff. Very good breakfast. Easy, free parking was a plus. Would stay here again.
We stayed at the Hotel Ontario for 4 nights. We found it to be an excellent hotel with everything we needed and nothing that we didn't need. On arrival in our rental car, we parked right outside of the entry to reception, checked in, and took our bags by lift up to our room. We then moved the car to the free parking adjacent to the hotel. We had huge room, with balcony and nice views over the river. 2 chairs and small table, electric kettle jug and tea making facilities all included.Separate bathroom with toilet and an excellent shower. Free wifi very good coverage. Breakfast was excellent with different hot choices on each of our 4 days there. Decent coffee and a big selection of teas, bread and the usual cold meat and cheeses. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Its a short couple of minutes walk downhill to the shopping streets, river and colonnades, The walk back up is easily manageable, and you can enter the hotel from the ground floor. Definitely recommended if you have a car as parking is ultra easy, and free. If we return to Karlovy Vary, we would definitely stay here again.…
The hotel in centrally placed in the collonades district, a quarter of the way up a relatively small hill. The staff was wonderful, the breakfast supreme, the room spacious and the views divine!!! Our only complaint was the incredibly slow elevator, but it is a tiny price to pay for such a worthwhile stay.
This hotel is so good. The place couldn't be closer to the centre of town, although it is up a hill or a long flight of stairs. I booked a large room and we got a huge suite with a balcony, although the view was limited due to the trees. The bed was very comfortable, and there were a couple of armchairs in the bedroom to watch TV. Breakfast was good, but not special, with a couple of hot options every morning. Overall we loved our stay here and we'll definitely stay again when we return to Karlovy Vary.
The Ontario is a conveniently located hotel in the heart of Karlovy Vary. You should take into consideration that you need confirmation of a hotel booking or a special police permit if you want to enter Karloy Vary’s spa zone by car. Parking is permitted in the respective hotel’s parking lot only. The Ontario provides a small car park next to the main entrance. We were given a spacious apartment with four windows and a balcony. The "beautiful views of the city" (as advertised on the hotel`s homepage) were not available, though, as high trees impair the view. Opening the door with a chip card is slightly inconvenient because of the poor lighting in the hallway. The decor of the room which included a fridge and kettle was pleasant. Bring your own coffee as this is not provided for free. The bathroom shower was in impeccable condition. The TV offered a wide selection of programs. If you prefer watching TV from bed, this is not possible as the TV is in the other room of the apartment. The Wi-Fi worked flawlessly. The gentleman at the reception seemed not very enthusiastic about our arrival but he did what needs to be done. In the breakfast room there was nobody to welcome guests. Breakfast met the expectations of a 3-star property. Coffee from a vending machine was of rather moderate quality. The hotel is not cheap but this is no exception for Karlovy Vary which is quite an expensive location comparable to Prague. It is worth comparing rates as they differ considerably depending on the date of your stay.…
