A very nice hotel with big rooms. Our lodging was actually a two room accommodation with a very spacious bathroom with a balcony. I like the Victoria Style and it’s very close to downtown and the river. It’s a great place and location. The bed was super comfortable with very large fluffy pillows. The other room has a pullout couch (double bed) with small frig and water cooker

I stayed at Ontario for four days and had totally enjoyed my stay there. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Room number 10 has a fantastic view overlooking the town. Breakfast was also very good, with great selections of what’s expected for a continental breakfast. As the hotel is centrally located, it’s easy to get access to all the major attractions nearby. And the room was very clean and well maintained. Overall, it’s highly recommended for anyone who wants to have a break.

Very good location in the center of Karlovy Vary. Super nice apartment on the corner of the building with a view of the river and the city. Very large bathroom.
A minus is breakfast. Often bread or ham was not delivered on time, no milk and you just have to wait. No extensive breakfast, little choice. Other than that we are very satisfied with our stay.

Beautiful hotel just 5 minutes from the center. From the room you have a fantastic view of the old town. Beautiful large room with a huge bathroom and shower, the room was very quiet as there is carpet everywhere, including the stairwell.
Breakfast was varied and very plentiful, it was constantly refilled, all the staff were very friendly and accommodating, they even spoke German which was very helpful for us.
We absolutely recommend it, we will definitely come back

It's a great place to stay and we can fully recommend the hotel. The room & bathroom were very clean and spacious. It was also very quiet. Very friendly staff, great breakfast buffet which is also being refilled as soon as something is empty (we were there for 4 days and every day there was something different offered). Parking is available just next to the hotel. The location is perfect, only a few minutes walk to the center and the colonnades. Also not far away from the hotel is a walkway to Jeleni Skok and from there a little hiking path to the Diana tower. We enjoyed our short trip to Karlovy Vary very much and will definitely come back to the Hotel Ontario when we visit the town again.

The hotel is perfectly situated near the "kolonada" and the beautiful area near the Russian Church. The hotel is very clean, the staff is friendly and professional. The room we had was spacious, had a great view and was more luxurious than we had expected. It was very clean.
The room had 2 balconies, both very nice for sitting outside.
The TV had many channels form many different parts of the world.
The breakfast was good. Parking is perfect and guarded with cameras.
This hotel is definitely worth booking.

This hotel is excellent, large and very nice rooms, great views to the collonade from the windows, and a very short distance to the main street. Beatiful place, can't fault it.

On our short visit to Karlovy Vary we stayed at the Hotel Ontario atop the main drag. The view was nice, the room large and clean, the decor matching with the architecture, all rather new in "oldish" design, it was quiet, the staff attentive and friendly. I think only 2-3 of the 12 rooms were occupied during our stay. It was great to see that still there was an opulent breakfast buffet with all sorts of foods to match everybodys tastes on offer.

Best of all was the price - we got a good rate at 65 Euros per night, including free parking, wifi, etc. which is a very good price I think. You'd pay at least double that amount in western Europe for the offered services. Very good - if we'll return to Karlovy Vary, we'll stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay in Room 7 with balconies - and particularly the spectacular views towards the hillside. We found the hotel very easily with the satnav, and off-street parking was available just outside the entrance, which is controlled with CCTV. (Navigation and parking become much more of an issue just a few hundred metres further into the town). The staff made us feel very welcome and were ready with maps and information about K.V. The hotel is located on a road just above the centre. I was accompanied by my 88 year old mother who managed the walk to and from the lift that operates into the centre. The first night we ate on the bridge at the Embassy - rave reviews about this hotel meant we nearly stayed at this hotel, but were glad we didn't as the location (and, we later realized the quality of rooms) of the Ontario, in our view, far surpassed the hotels just that bit further into town. The restaurant of the Embassy comes highly recommended and it was charming to sit in the evening sun on the bridge looking toward the Grand Hotel Pupp, but sadly the food was disappointing and the waiter was rather cocky in presuming that our change (some 25%) was his tip. After a six hour drive from Berlin, I didn't have the energy to remonstrate. Breakfast at the Ontario was fine and more than adequate but not exciting. For our second night in K.V., we had to move hotels as the Ontario was overbooked (I knew this at the time of booking but thought it looked so charming - and easy to locate) that I didn't mind. Night 2 was spent at the Romance Puskin - a stone's throw down the hill. It was more expensive but not nearly as nice as the Ontario - room much smaller, furnishings much poorer, shabby - but not as in shabby chic - view half as nice, and a charge for parking. Even if we were not comparing, the Ontario sitting impressively atop the hill, with its stylish room furnishings and views takes a lot of beating.

We stayed 2 nights which was enough time for us. We had room #7 on the corner with a view looking down at the city. The room was much nicer than we were expecting very clean, very spacious, high ceilings, a nice view...excellent! There is mixed reviews on breakfast we found it to be a good selection of eggs, sausage, breads and sweets, yogurt and cereals, only the sliced meats did not look good. It is right in the middle of town and there is a "secret" walkway that can be reached from the left of the Mill Colonnade when facing it. The pathway is sort of steep and not manicured but quicker to reach the hotel if you want a short cut.
We also visited The Castle Spa which was very relaxing. The actual services (Superior Aroma package) were ok, we would not go again but it was great for a one time experience and we don't regret it. The massage was just relaxing strokes not deep tissue by any means. The spa was beautiful and extremely clean. You are only aloud to stay as long as your package ours was 3 1\2 hours. The only time you are aloud to use the facilities (pool, tiny sauna, etc.) is in between services maybe 2 separate times for 30-45min. Once your package is complete you need to leave or maybe you can pay extra to stay longer...we were satisfied with the amount of time.
That being said we were extremely satisfied with Ontario and would highly recommend it!
