We from Australia would like to thank everyone for a fabulous stay this week in hotel Petr ... the hotel receptionist was a mine of information and delightful ... the breakfast lady was also lovely and welcoming .. our room The Charles Room was fabulous with a great view overlooking the Collenade ... what a lovely treat! Super clean ... thank you for having us !
This stay was a pleasant surprise. Our room was on the upper floors and the view from our window was across the river to the plaza where the Colonnade is located. The hotel staff were very accommodating and helped us throughout our stay. We requested parking when we booked our stay. There is limited space within the hotel for parking, so take our advice and do this too. The hotel is central in the town so no matter what way you want to walk, everything is close. The restaurant on site has a great menu and is well worth a visit. We stayed there in early June 2018 so disregard the travel box as that date was not available to check.
This place was nice.. We had a whole flat with kitchen. But.... The biggest issue was the dirt. The carpet was dirty, There were hair and hairs from previous customers, also the bathroom wasnt clean either. Beds were not comfortable and they should change mattresses. there were also spiderwebs on the walls.Wifi didnt work. Price wasnt cheap at all, so I think, that they could clean the room properly..At least...
I would like to express our family gratitude to the managers and owners of the hotel. One day before our flight to Czech Republic we had an emergency situation. My infant son, who is 2 years and 5 month old got extremely sick. He had a swelling and inflammation of the periosteum of the maxilla. He had a high temperature and swelling of upper lip. As a result, he had a dental surgery and two upper teeth were removed. Therefore, unfortunately, our family trip was cancelled at the last minute. We have reached the hotel owners in regards to this situation. We explained everything and though the tariff was non-refundable they have shown understanding and nobility and have made a full refund. We extremely thankful to them and recommend this hotel as they actually care about their clients and can listen to their asks in the minutes of despair.…
The hotel is located centrally, just across the colonade and walking are in Karlovy Vary and very affordable. It has a garage for 2 cars that you should carefully look for, as it is from the street above and not easy to find, but useful, as it is not easy to find parking spot. Room we had was spacious enough for two - we had twin - but there is no central heating, they use electrical heater that takes time to heat. Bed covers are too thin as well as pillows, but otherwise clean and comfortable room. Receptionist is kind, even though only working during the day, there is nobody in the night! Next door is restaurant and there was constantly smell of food and oil in the lobby, that is making really cheap and bad impression.
