The hotel is a short walk the town square and receptionist recommended a good restaurant nearby. They have on-site parking but you must pay for it. The hotel and rooms have a certain decor which I found strange and unsettling. The bed was extremely firm. There was limited temperature control but fortunately I was able to open the window and bring the temperature down to something more comfortable.

There is a large breakfast which includes continental and American foods. The WIFI and phone didn't work the first night which was very inconvenient, but they fixed it the subsequent days.

Other than the very unappealing aesthetic of the hotel, the services were fine and the staff was good.

We stayed here for 5 nights on our trip in Czech Republic . It was really very nice journey, we visited 8 beautiful castles. Hradec Kralove is very nice and interesting city and this hotel was a good starting point for visiting castels in the eastern Czech Republic. The room was very spacious, nice, maybe more decorations would revive the interior, but I was satisfied with the choice of hotel.
Only I was dissatisfied , that we were not supplemeted with soap and hygiene items during our stay in hotel. Breakfast was good, staff in hotel very kind.
The hotel I can highly recommend to others.

Even that the first impression in the reception is not anything special (poor architecture and not very friendly staff on the reception desk) the room are really something. The standard room in this hotel is so spacious like in deluxe suite, it is very modern furnished, clean, with very big and comfortable bathroom. The only problem I had with AC - hard to switch off for night. The breakfast buffet was in standard quality without surprise. Only two reason to complain. At 8:30 there was just poor rest of cheese with no choice, the same salami. It was refilled after pretty long time. And I do not like if hotel personal is having their breakfast between guests and solving their work problem as loud, that you can hear it (the lady was probably the reception manager, because I saw her on the reception by checking out). Solving this small problems, it could be the best choice in the beautiful city Hradec Králové!

The hotel as such is in a quiet location, the parking lot is very spacious, the rooms are large enough. But I imagine four stars a little differently. In particular, the restaurant falters in the service, so it's fine to pour wine into a thick-walled glass for water, red, white, it doesn't matter. The wine list is not rich, the way it is served perfectly hides it. The food, on the other hand, does not offend.

Refurbished former army barracks, very modern inside but all character has been removed.

The rooms are will appointed, but no safe and very hot, the temperature controls in the room does not make any difference, which makes for an uncomfortable sleep.

The breakfast was also very poor compared to other chain hotels, the cold meats selection consist of 2, cheese the same.

Next business trip I will stay in the square in the older hotels, that have more character and better breakfast.

We arrived rather late and found the service and rooms to our satisfaction.
Good sized room, nicely decorated and clean. Comfortable beds, nice and firm.
Unfortunately we arrived rather late and didn't have time to explore the spa area.
Nothing to complain about except the restaurant, the food was awful despite a very nice service minded waiter. The restaurant area was lit and designed like a cheap all inclusive establishment.
We should have taken our waiters discrete advice and gone up to the old town for dinner.

It was really random play, we just decided to turn the wheels southwards from Poland and landed by chance in Hradec Kralove. The hotel was easy to find, even if we didn't know what to look for. Parking and entrance from the indoor garage was simple, and the receptionist found us a room, even if they where "all booked" and we come unannounced. Then you've the chance to get either a very small room, or a big one. We got a great, marvellous double room facing the park outside.
In spite of 35+ degrees outside, the premises were cool and comfortable.
The staff was very helpful, guiding us to a very nice down-town area in the evening.
The hotel bar was very nice, with great outdoor space, and the breakfast next morning was upper class.
Unfortunately, according to schedule, we spent only one night here, but we really would like to come back another day, another time.

This hotel is a recent addition to the city and are converted barracks dating back to the Austro- Hungarian Empire and the parade square is still visible. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the rooms are huge if oddly shaped. The bathrooms are equally massive with showers you have to point at yourself rather than you moving under a fixed head . Breakfast is ok but there evening meals are better. The hotel is very central and just below the citadel which is a 3 minute walk.

A converted armoury that looks like the conversion has been done recently. Everything looks nice and new. Room was large enough and the bathroom was very nice. From reading the other reviews it seems I was quite lucky as the shower in my room had a holder high up on the wall so I could have a decent shower.
Nice quiet rooms so a good night's sleep was possible.
Breakfast was good. A decent selection of dishes but a bit of a queue for the coffee machine.
About the only quibble I had was about the size of the bed - quite a small single so I was in some fear of falling out.
All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful
Would definitely stay again.

We visited this hotel for a week during July. The woman at the front desk did not speak much English. However we understood when she told us we couldn't use the spa without an appointment, I couldn't get a massage in the evening or weekend. Our room was specious with a great bathroom. However, it was the middle of July and the AC thermostat didn't work. Instead there was a portable AC unit that blew hot air out of a hose into the room. I talked with the woman at the front desk who didn't understand why there was a problem. (It was 38 degrees C outside). The people in the hotel room next to us showed us how to vent the AC tubing out the window. However to have it shoot out the window, also meant that the unit would shoot us in the face while in bed. Definitely not an ideal option.

Breakfast was good with many options. A majority of the people in this hotel were Czech military. They were heavy into smoking and being a little loud.

Location is excellent, close enough to walk to town and good walking paths along the river.

Room Tip: If it is hot don't stay in one of the upper floors. Way too hot.
