I traveled by myself to Cesky Krumlov from Prague and stumbled on Penzion Weber. I booked a room for myself and was surprised when I arrived to find out that it is essentially an entire apartment! The room can definitely fit a family as it came with a kitchenette, double bed, dining area and lounge. It was a luxury for a solo traveller such as myself. It took about 30 minutes for me to walk from the main bus terminal to the accommodation but because there was so much to see and do along the way, it really didn’t bother me much. The accomodation is essentially a bed & breakfast, but I was a little disappointed to find out that the place which I was supposed to get my complimentary breakfast from was closed and there wasn’t any back-up plan for that. Cesky Krumlov might be tiny but there’s loads to see. The accommodation is approximately 15 minutes away from all the main sights. But I must confess that the walk back at night alone is a little daunting. The streets were dimly lit and it was rather eerily quiet. However, if you are looking for affordable accommodation in this beautiful little town, I highly recommend Penzion Weber. Just make sure you choose right room to avoid disappointment!

Everything OK Clean, nice, helpful owner. A lot of space in the apartment. The perfect location! Close to the old town, silence, peace, you can only hear the noise of the Vltava. I strongly recommend!

I honestly dont know why people have said about the walk from the train station, you can get a taxi quite easily, or walk it in 15 mins, it's quite pleasant and downhill. Or saying the rooms were too small, the......you know its was a lovely pleasant stay and if you don't do your homework before you book or see the location then it hardly the accommodations fault. To us this was perfect walking distance to the town, room was a little small but you are hardly in it, the bed was very comfortable and it was clean, The girl who let us in, you need to go to the cafe 2-3 doors down, was lovely and it was not bother in the pouring rain. Great stay, reasonably priced, liked the place and they were kind enough to give us a voucher towards our breakfast in the cafe, what's not to like? Excelent.

1. the room is too tiny. we could barely open our luggage. 2. it is not convenient if you come by public transport. you will need to drag your bags through the whole village on cobblestone which is a killer for any luggage no matter how sturdy. Plus there is a huge flight of stairs before getting to the hotel. either take them and get an imaginary medal or take a longer route that will just tire you the same. 3. i highly recommend you stay on the outskirts of the village(or even better, the bigger city Cesky Budejovice which is just a 30min bus ride from Cesky Krumlov and do a day trip from there). the hotels are cheapers there and you reach the village in less than 5min anyway without having to bother with dragging your bags for so long.

The guest house is located on a quiet street near the central square (7 minutes walk). Beautifully renovated, clean and bright large room for 3 persons and bathroom. Parking was very handy and free, given the narrowness of the streets and the large number of tourists during the holidays. We got warm and friendly welcome and the host was helpful. There is a small kitchen you can use any time. We spent 3 nights and really enjoyed our stay.
