Right in the snowy heart of it
We had a magical enchanting experience while staying town, as it began to snow. Being right in the heart of town meant we could jump into our coats and frolic in the square as the flakes came raining down. The room itself was comfortable, and offered free Netflix. Parking is a rather inconvenient off site location that is hard to find, and easy to mistake. Be sure you get the staff to review your google maps setting before parking your car. Breakfast is excellent.

    Awesome place ! Amazing staff
What an amazing hotel and even more amazing staff . A big shout out to William and Yulia for their incredible customer service values and support . The hotel is a 700 year old house but it is upto all the modern standards and is nestled in a quiet corner with amazing rooms . The staff once again is the best thing about the place as they took it upon themselves to make our journey and further travel peaceful and enjoyable .

Good, but Not worth the price
Hotel is good, but doesnt have elevator, the rooms are small, those things are acceptable, its an old building. The say it has AC, but almost all rooms doenst have. We got a fan instead. Staff is friendly and helpful! We even got a free transfer to the train station. Breakfast is good, and the restaurant is a little disorganized, but the food is great! Location is great, but all hotels have great location in center Krumlov. The worst part is the curtains of the room, they are awful, they dont cover any light at all. Impossible to sleep in the morning. Good, but expensive overall.

Hotel Grand is a lovely hotel with a fantastic location right in the main square of the town. All sights of Cesky Krumlov are within a very short distance from the hotel. Staying over at the hotel enabled us to see the town in the peace and quiet of the morning before the day trippers arrive. The hotel serves excellent breakfast. The staff overall is very nice. Overall a great stay in one of the prettiest towns in the world.

Guy on reception was drunk when we arrived and staff were arguing with each other for the two nights we were there. Bar staff did not want to serve us and we could only pay in cash. Linen was taken off the beds that we weren’t using because we were told that we did not need them. Breakfast room is way too small and very difficult to get around other patrons. Our room was like a storage room for the furniture that they couldn’t fit in other rooms. Just don’t bother!

Nestled in the rolling hills of Czechoslovakia quietly sleeps a beautiful 500 year old town called Cesky Krumlov. A jewel found there is the Grand Hotel on the plaza. Before I visited, I wrote to the hotel and immediately received a reply, a reply to each and every question…amazing. I asked if we could hire someone to collect us at the bus station. There at arrival with a sign was a lovely young man who whisked our luggage into into his van and away we went dazzled by the beauty ahead of us. The manager of the hotel graciously greeted us and because we were early suggested we have coffee. Our room ready was like a fairy tale, looking out on the plaza. We ventured out on a tour and came back to wonderful dinner served on the outside patio. Breakfast in the morning came to the room. Better than any 5 star we had been in. We gathered out things and received help to the bus. Both of us wanted to stay longer. I would without any hesitation give this hotel my highest rating. Cleanliness, service, quality of the food, room, location could not have been better.

Excellent and helpful staff, a superb breakfast and an unbeatable location gets this place a great review. The furnishings and decor are dated, but in a quaint way. Excellent value for money. Be warned, there is no elevator.

Český Krumlov is charming and based on the reviews I thought this hotel will be charming too. Unfortunately not. The breakfast was average and served in a crowded room. Perhaps standard two stars hotel experience but certainly not what you would expect in a 4* hotel. When we entered the hotel a barefoot man was dealing with a pile of dirty bedlinen on the floor in the corridor. It did not come as a surprise that the bedlinen on one of the beds in our room was dirty. On the upside, the location is great, the air conditioning worked well and the bathroom was nice. Next time in town I will opt for a different hotel. This was nowhere near to what I have expected.

What an amazing stay! Our room was HUGE! More than enough for 3 people. Very comfortable and centrally located to local restaurants and attractions. The beds were very comfortable. Clean. Helpful staff. Would highly recommend if you are coming here.

The hotel is in the center square. It is a beautiful hotel, however, the staff in reception are very unfriendly and they have no skills dealing with you, the client. We arrived at noon and were told that the room was available at two, which is ok, but the way the staff communicated was really condescending. They did not offer to hold our luggage, I understand they are not obligated, but it is nice when that is offered. We came back at 2:15.pm.. still the room was not ready. Again, the way they let us know made us feel like we were bothering them. When I asked if the room would be ready by 2:45 pm, the answer back was : " I already told you the room is not ready, wait". When we came at 2:45 pm, we had to wait another 10 minutes because the person in the reception did not have the paperwork ready. We got the room and it was a nice room. The next day we were out the whole day, and we came back at 6:00 pm, to find out that the room was not made up. The hotel is nice, the service is extremely poor. There are other hotels around the center square, if I was to come back, I would try another one.
