The hotel is in the center square. It is a beautiful hotel, however, the staff in reception are very unfriendly and they have no skills dealing with you, the client. We arrived at noon and were told that the room was available at two, which is ok, but the way the staff communicated was really condescending. They did not offer to hold our luggage, I understand they are not obligated, but it is nice when that is offered. We came back at 2:15.pm.. still the room was not ready. Again, the way they let us know made us feel like we were bothering them. When I asked if the room would be ready by 2:45 pm, the answer back was : " I already told you the room is not ready, wait". When we came at 2:45 pm, we had to wait another 10 minutes because the person in the reception did not have the paperwork ready. We got the room and it was a nice room. The next day we were out the whole day, and we came back at 6:00 pm, to find out that the room was not made up. The hotel is nice, the service is extremely poor. There are other hotels around the center square, if I was to come back, I would try another one.

We were part of a biking tour and only stayed 1 night. The hotel is in a great location on the main square. The hotel is very quaint and clean, friendly and helpful staff. Our room was on the ground floor and we needed to open our windows because it was very hot. There were people constantly smoking out our window so we received all that second hand smoke in our room plus heard everything outside. The noise wasn’t as bad as the smoke! If you stay here and don’t want the smoke ask for a room in a different area. We would have if we would have known that before we checked in. The deck on the restaurant is a nice spot to relax, have a beer, and a bite to eat. Love this village!

If visiting Cesky Krumlov you will find this hotel is in a perfect location for exploring the castle, restaurants, etc. in the historical square. We were lucky to get a larger room and felt the room was comfortable with large windows you could open and fans were provided. This was one of the more comfortable bed, blankets and pillows that we had on our whole trip. Room has all you need, hairdryer, nice toiletries, coffee maker, mini fridge, light up mirrors and even a zoom make up mirror, it felt like extra thought and planning went into the remodeled room we had, which we were also lucky and facing the square. As most of old buildings, elevators are small, we took the stairs. Staff was helpful for us as we had bikes to store. One of best was the Hotel Buffet Breakfast! It was a tight space, however had a great selection of all the things! Fruit, eggs, proteins, cheeses, desserts, breads, croissants, I think I tried a lil of everything. A Coffee machine and a self serve buffet kept it fast and convenient, so we were fueled and off in no time for our cycling trip!

We had a lovely room..in the attic..it was air conditioned which was great as it was high 30s outside.However..our luggage had to be carried up then down a narrow staircase to the top floor.Ask front staff..they were helpful for us.Breakfast was excellent with lots of fresh fruit. There could be lots of noise late at night if fronting the main square.

This hotel is really more than just 4 stars. Front desk agent was very attentive and gave us an upgrade when our room was not really. New room was perfect with all amenities that a Luxury 5 star Hotel would have. WiFi is free and breakfast as well. Front desk ask was very helpful showing places to visit and where to go to take the best pictures. Strongly recommend stay there.
