Come live in a fairy tale for a while! The Hotel U Malého Vítka is located in the heart of the Old Town in Český Krumlov on one of its oldest streets – Radniční ulice. A 7-minute walk to the castle and less than a minute to the town square. The hotel was created by joining three burgher houses together. All three houses still stand on their Gothic foundations; two of them have Baroque Classicist façades while the third still bears its original Gothic appearance with a portal from the later 15th century. Three Gothic houses come together to create a Medieval atmosphere with a friendly modern attitude. There are 20 rooms to choose from, while we lovingly look after you and support the original historical atmosphere. All our rooms feature standard modern facilities such as bathrooms and showers, TV, telephone in the room, and Wi-Fi throughout the entire hotel. A labyrinth of corridors, impressive wooden furniture, cross vaults… An atmosphere straight out of films and fairy tales.

Michael, the host is great. The room was above expectations. The breakfast was fabulous. Ample room in the room. We had a private balcony overlooking the castle. The linens were clean and the beds comfortable. I will stay here again.

We stayed two nights in a superior room. The room is really beautiful, it is spacious and spotless clean. Breakfast which was really good was included. The man at the reception was very helpful and friendly. Best of all is the location - the hotel is right in the old center of Cesky Krumlov. The only small issue was that our room was facing the street and we heard people passing by the whole night when the windows were open. So if you want a quiet room I would suggest a room not facing the street.

This hotel was our favorite of our entire European vacation. It was so unique and quirky. We felt like giants in the hallways and rooms, but still slept well. I spent part of my evening reading the brochure in the room that describes the history of the buildings, and I thought it was time well spent. Location can’t be beat. Also, you simply cannot beat the location. Breakfast was good, no complaints there. I’d love to visit again.

Had a triple room at the U Maleho Vitka for a night recently and we were totally happy with the accommodations. The hotel is simple, our room was spacious (and simple) and the breakfast was ample. The front desk person was friendly and helpful and the location is hard to beat. The price was great as well. I've stayed in 2 other places in CK in the past and I would probably stay here again the next time I come back.

Probably the most quirky place we have ever stayed at and absolutely loved it. The individually designed and decorated rooms are a fitting accommodation for this historical town, and we felt like proper locals in our attic room with a beautiful castle view. Reception was friendly and helpful and we would definitely come back.

If you look for a perfectly insulated, soundproof, modern experience, then maybe look elsewhere. This hotel is exactly as it's advertised - it's located in old buildings, and staying here feels like staying in a country mansion of an old family - the building is old, creaky, you'll hear the people moving by your door or moving above your head, and all this. So if you don't want this, and you want feel isolated and insulated in your room, look elsewhere. But if you're looking for a lovely little old hotel 2 minutes from all the main attractions of the town, then look here. I loved my stay here - I rarely encounter such friendly and personal attention from hotel staff, and it makes a lot of difference to me. I felt like home here, and I wouldn't look elsewhere if I returned to the town another time. A very good experience!

I can only describe this hotel with superlatives. Its perfect location made it easy to reach it on foot from the train station. It is in the very centre of the old town so the main square, shops, sights are on the doorstep. Our room was lovely, clean and spacious. The gentleman at the reception was very helpful and let us put our luggage in the storage room for a few hours after check out.The breakfast was filling enough to make us go for the day.I loved their poppy seed cake.I would highly recommend the place for all ages.

The location of this hotel is perfect...walk outside and view the castle tower! Tasty breakfast, minimalist but comfortable rooms which feel authentic to the property, and wonderful staff. Would stay here again if I get the chance to return!

We booked online a few months ahead. Our hosts were very friendly and great in accommodating all our needs including help getting from the train station to the hotel and storing our luggage until our shuttle to Vienna was scheduled. Our room was very big, very clean and well furnished with all the necessary amenities. It felt like we stepped back in time. Typical breakfast was included and the hotel is very well situated from everything we wanted to see. I would definitely stay here again.
