Great location, easy walk from the bus stop. Really nice and peaceful place, nice bar with excellent food attached. Owner was super friendly, decent price. Bed was super comfy. Was happy to get to a hostel where I could get a good nights sleep. Recommended.

Hostel is in a great location, right at the top of town, walking distance to everything. Good kitchen. I was in a 7 bed dorm which was clean and quiet, only 2 others were there due to slow season. So no atmosphere but I don't mind that. Free towels which is nice. Good size lockers that you need your own lock for. Limited reception hours but wasn't an issue for me. Staff helpful and friendly. Have to pay in cash in Czech crowns. Only one shower locks. Laundry expensive so I didn't use it. Would stay there again.

Great price for a burger and chips. I had the Cheeseburger. Lovely taste in an authentic setting, set slightly away from the crowds. There’s also an open fire so lovely and warm in the winter. Staff can be a little curt so bare with them.

This hostel is in a good location (although very small town so majority of properties would be centrally located). Very smooth check in process, friendly and prompt service. The person who checked us in was super friendly and helpful with tips on the area. We stayed in a private room which is located in another building just across the road. Shared bathroom I found to be a bit dirty, particularly the shower. and the shower tap is spring loaded therefore water only stayed in for a few seconds until it had to be pushed again- pretty annoying! The room was big enough, however would be great if there was a mirror in there, so as to avoid the shared bathroom mirror of a morning. All in all we enjoyed our stay here and would recomend.

A group of us students traveled to Cesky Krumlov and we stayed in Hostel 99. The place was very clean and the staff was very friendly. The rooms were nicely sized. They had a restaurant/pub connected to the hostel. My friends and I drank at the pub until they closed and the service was great. Before we left we ate at the restaurant connected and the food was wonderful!! They also had a small cafe across the street that sold coffee and pastries that we ate at for breakfast. LOVED cesky krumlov and the location was amazing!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND for solo traveler, student groups, or young couples.

I arrived to Cesky Krumlov by train and while the instructions from the hostel were a little vague, I managed to find it pretty easily as it is nicely positioned on the edge of the main town (but still in the town so it is about a 1-2minute walk to the centre of town). The man at the reception worked 9am-9pm everyday I was there which was so helpful (and good work on his own!). From memory his name was Brennan.. He was also extremely helpful and supportive of me which is something I really appreciate being a 20 year-old Aussie solo traveller! This is not a party hostel (but Cesky K. Is not really a huge party town either), but the vibe is still really cool and the facilities are great. The beds were comfy and the lockers nice and big. I would 100% recommend this hostel to anyone of any age visiting Cesky Krumlov!

Hostel 99 is situated really close to the Krumlov castle and city centre. Parking spot is better to buy at one of the unofficial parking places if you want to save a few hundred. Our room was at the 'calmer' part of the hostel which was great as we shared bathroom only with one other room and had enough privacy and silent mornings (which I assume would not happen at the other side of this hostel). The furniture and rooms are no luxury but for this price it's a great deal. The whole hostel is cleaned every morning and our bed sheets and towels were ok, too. I just need to point out that the room is quite cold and it took one full day to heat it for a reasonable temperature which could be still perceived as cold by someone (me). I believe that thick walls and closeness of the river make these rooms awesome to sleep at during the summer heat. Therefore, highly recommended mainly to those who are travelling to Krumlov from May onwards.

I stayed in the hostel's private room across the road of the main building for two nights. Although a bit chilli at first (it is almost in the basement and the walls are really thick), the room gradually warmed up. We didn't have any problems, the staff was nice, the room, as well as the toilet and bathroom, was clean and pleasant. Would come back :)
