The hotel is in a beautiful location. Staff very helpful and friendly and receptionists and driver. The rooms and interior of the hotel are super decorated and clean. The air conditioning in our room broke down, after they checked it and found that they could not fix it right away we got another room in record time. Breakfast is pretty poor for a hotel like this so we don't recommend it.
I stayed at Hotel Old Inn with my boyfriend this April. The receptionists were super friendly and helpful which was great! The hotel itself is modern which I like and the interior was super nice. The hotel did have that old feel to it which we really liked so it did feel authentic to us. The room was very nice and spacious and it overlooked the city center. It could get a bit noisy but that did not bother us as much. The breakfast was delicious and there were quite a few options which left us very full and satisfied. Overall, our stay was a 10/10 and we would definitely come back to hotel Old Inn again!
The hotel interior is beautiful. The staff are all amazing and very friendly, they are ready to help you with anything you need. Great location in the centre. Comfortable rooms, great nights sleep. Breakfast was very good, something for all tastes. Thank you hotel oldinn for a relaxing and memorable stay. I will be back again :)
Worst hotel experience by far !in more than 20 years travelling : no communication, no parking no covid security ; bad material and manager scam. First of all : i got no answer to my mail before check in : i sent 2 messages via booking without any answer Second : they didn’t reserve the parking i asked in the email : THE manager said me: " don’t worry we have a parking at 2-3 kilometers distance". In fact there is no parking inside hotel . They have one parking at 400 meters distance and one other at 3 km . No cars are allowed to enter the center without a local tax payed by the hotel for registered guest cars , so if the hotel doesn’t answer you and register your car you have a good chance to take fine(another negative advice last year by an italian related the same thing) I payed 58 euros for 2 days parking i managed to get the closest one after hard negociation. The manager told me his reception and staff don’t treat mails, mails are treated by another service ?? Third : the manager and the staff payed the Car guest local tax for only one day , so for check out enter our cars in the center for taking luggage was illegal and we should have take another fine. Fourth : the luggage/Shuttle service is shared with another hotel of the same group with a minibus, on second and final days the luggage man service was more than 70 or maybe 80 years old, so it s Dangerous to charge him to bring luggage, in fact he ws not able to put on the Shuttle(that had not enough space for luggage for a family) . And i was compelled to go look for my ca and come back with car. Fifth : Covid mesures are not respected, you got an automatic e mail saying that because national law you need a pass to check in or you l get a antigenic test at hotel : We are vaccinated but they did’nt check or ask us at check in. No gel in strategic points Last but not least : the manager is a totally scammer : he charged me 70 euros because toilette cover broke(my weight is 90 KG) , It there was a little weaknees before i sat and its first time a cover toilette got broken on a travel in my wole life. The manager told me for justify the charge : « i rented a car last Week and i was charged of 350 hundred euros for a damage who was not ther but it s my fault… i shoud have controlled« Uou undertand the manager compare his attitude to a scammer car rental company ; cher italian friend i’m glad to see you consider a client should take picture of the whole room at each check in like we do with car rental. A potential good hotel but a really horrible staff and above all gtheir manager…
The hotel is located on a street with several pubs and bars so it is impossible to rest until the wee hours. The hotel staff does nothing to solve it. They tell us that the hotel is full and that they cannot call the police until a certain time. So we paid more than 100 euros for a room in a 4 * hotel and it is impossible to sleep. Not recommended
We did stay one night here. Hotel has great location in the city center. Room was small but nice. The only thing is air condition which is very loud (even on the lower speed) and the sound of the air conditioning disturbed us all night. You can open window but as you are in city with bars around peiple are noisy even at 2 am. Breakfest was very good and tasty.
Very modern (opened just before pandemics) and beautifully fitted-out hotel in a middle of the old town; fantastic breakfasts and helpful and kind staff - thank you Jana for your super friendly and positive approach and help during our stay;
Well..hmmm....wow....The exterior is original to historical details. When you walk in, it's renovated with modern and luxurious furnishings. I was impressed with the look and the renovation provides two contrast that works well together - Old and Modern. We were greeted by Karel J who was curteousy, kind and extremely professional. The front desk sets the tone for your entire stay and I was very impress with his service. We were early, and he had a room ready for us. We stayed in a Deluxe room and I would highly recommend it. After a walk through of the hotel and looking at our room, I don't think there would be a bad room because the hotel is completely renovated. ( I think they started their renovation in October 2019) This would be the best time to experience this hotel because it's completely redone. Room: Large bed (It was either a Queen or King but I am leaning to think it was a King because I was able to stretch with my partner and still have plenty of room. The mattress was extremely comfortable along with the linens and blankets. There was a nice work station if you brought your laptop. Bathroom: The lighting was soft and set the mood. When you walked into the bathroom, they had floor lights so you don't have to turn on the lights in the middle of the night. However, when sitting on the toilet it does turn off after a certain amount of time so you would have to wave at the sensor. The shower was a huge walk in with a hand held show handle along with a waterfall showerhead directly over your head. The pressure was excellent and the hot water came immediately when needed. Outlets: This is important to me to charge my phone and laptop. On each side of the bed is a charging outlet - excellent! Breakfast: Our reservation included breakfast which you can eat indoor or on their patio. Breakfast was self serve buffet. I found the selection to be excellent - a variety of eggs (including scramble), bacon, sausages, and cold meat and cheese. There was chopped tomatoes salad which I put on my scrambled eggs and were delicious. Many tea varieties and cold was available along with difference juices. I read some reviews regarding their breakfast selection, which I found shocking because I found the selection to be very good. Granted there isn't a huge amount of fruits but you are in Czech Republic, where meat is king. ( I believe they consider pork a vegetable...just kidding) Service was excellent, they cleared our empty dishes efficiently. Accessiblity: The hotel is 3 floors and I believe comprise of two building side by side. When you walk along hallways then you realize how big the hotel really is. The hallways are spacious and wise. There is an elevator that goes to the 2nd floor so if you are limited in mobility, I would suggest the ground or 2nd floor. Location: Located right in Old Square, you are incredible close to everything, and I meant everything. Some people only stay for the day, but I would highly reccomend staying at least 1 night to visit the grounds in the early morning and night. We arrived by train, so we decided to walk to the hotel. It's an easy 30-45 minute walk downhill (with stairs). Please note, it's uphill to get back to the train station so some may decide to take a taxi if you have luggage. Wifi: Excellent with no issues. Very fast as well to stream videos on netflix/youtube on my phone. Check out was very smooth. We were check-out by Anhgerel, she was very pleasant and sweet and wished us a bon voyage and gave us tips about how to get back to Prague. From begining to end, I really had a fabulous stay in Cesky Krumlov largely to the experience I had at Old Inn.…
Interior is amazing. History was well preserved even though the hotel has modern touches. They gave us a bowl and snacks for our dog which was nice. We expected more from breakfast - it was not organized (butter far away from bread) and the choice was rather poor. No alternatives like soy milk or yoghurt, no pancakes, little amount of fruit.
The reception staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was delicious and the room was clean, comfortable and well decorated. The air conditioning system was a bit loud but otherwise no complaints, the room had a great view onto the town square and had an easily accessible, central location. Would stay here again!
