Close to city centre about 10min walk, calm environment and clean, studio was very spacious. Breakfast is poor so dont expect much and try come come early as possible as all the food maybe gone and no staff to refill it. Best features is definetely the city centre being close and how clean the hotel and the rooms are.

We stayed for one night in unit #1. Very comfortable stay and our unit did have a small fridge. Not a long walk into town. We found the desk very helpful and nice. They called a taxi for us in the morning to the bus stop.

Visited here this week. Accommodations adequate. Young lady at front desk very polite and helpful. At 11pm one evening a man knocked on our door (four people in our room with the average age of 50 were playing cards.......pretty quietly). He told us he was the owner and proceeded to lecture us on the time and the fact that he lived there and had to work the next day...we received a five minute lecture. My opinion, if you are going to use your home that you live at as a bed and breakfast, you should expect a little noise. After all, people are paying to stay there while the owner makes money. Possibly, he should live off site if his paying guests are an inconvenience.

Response from Martin N, Owner at Penzion Delanta
Responded Sep 24, 2017
Dear Loriann, thank you for your stay and the review however I would expect you to be more honest about the situation. First of all - you absolutely were not "pretty quiet", you were very loud and, as you mentioned, at 11pm. Yes we live in the house and the house has got some rules, same rules like the most other guesthouses mainly not because I live in the house with my family but because other guests who prefer to stay in quiet place overnight. You should know we´ve got 2 more rooms and one apartment where stayed guests who complained for the noise you were producing. That was the reason I came to ask you, believe kindly enough, to be more quiet what took me max. 30 secs not 5 minutes like you said and thanked for your understanding. Nevertheless, I wish you all the best and less problems with guesthouse owners ;-). Kind regards, Martin

Stayed here for three nights and had a great stay. Room (no. 3) was clean, bright and comfortable. Bed also comfy - though I have not adjusted to the larger European pillows yet. Plenty of storage and hanging space - but only a few coat hangers. Heating (not turned on at this time of year) and a fan, although not warm enough to be required. Around ten minutes walk to the heart of town. We walked from the bus stop - 1.7km - a mistake I wouldn't make again as there are many steps and steep cobbled roads between the bus and the penzion. Take a taxi if you are not driving. A supermarket, pubs and restaurants nearby - cheaper than being in the heart of town. Quiet at night. Good water pressure and hot water. Need to bring your own shampoo as only one sachet of shampoo is provided per person for the length of your stay and no shower gel or soap, just soap dispenser for the handbasin. Also no refrigerator. Only one flight of external stairs to the upstairs rooms, but room 4 is on the ground floor if you prefer. Had breakfast (5 euros) on one morning only as breakfast doesn't start until 8:00am and we usually head out earlier than this. Wide range of cereals, yoghurts plus salad items, meat, rolls, juice etc., all serve yourself. Most importantly, helpful staff, and second most important - great wifi.

Booked this in AirBnB. Found it to be very clean, well-lit, with comfortable beds. We made a little breakfast in our kitchenette and sat outside on the back patio overlooking neighboring gardens. Gorgeous views of the city from the bedroom. Watch out for check in time and check out times. AirBnB said check out was at 11, but it was actually 10am. Also, you must check in before 6pm or else there may be an extra charge.
