Stayed here for 6 nights. Pension was located at a quiet place and took only 5 to 10 minutes by walk to old town where many nice restaurants could be found. Our apartment was spacious, well decorated and equipped with all amenities we needed. it was very comfortable and had amazing view of old town. Breakfast was delicious with lot of choices including both warm and cold foods. Owners were very nice and flexible in response to our special request. We have wonderful stay here.

We booked our room via Expedia while we were in Prague just a couple days prior to arriving (I expect in summer that this place books out months in advance). We stayed over a weekend (Friday-Saturday nights). Location is perfect - sits up on the hill across from the historic center - nice views, quiet neighborhood, and easy, beautiful walk to the historic downtown. Michael was not going to be there when we arrived so he emailed us directions on where to park, how to access the secure locked entry gate and our room. We were pleasantly surprised! The room is an apartment - entry way with hooks for coats, bathroom with stall shower, large kitchen/dining/sitting area and a large bedroom (king bed - king bed frame with two twin mattresses so there is a split down the middle of the bed). Meticulously maintained and clean. The refrigerator comes stocked with wine, milk, water and other drinks (you must pay for what you use and the price list very reasonable). The only downside for us was the mattresses were a bit too firm (and I had a hard time getting used to just a comforter for a cover; top sheets are not the norm in the Czech Republic and some other European cities). Our room had a lovely view of the front courtyard and downtown center with late afternoon sun to warm the chilly October day. We found it interesting that the entire street shares heating (Michael said it gets turned on in October and off in the spring - it had just been turned on when we were there). We were able to control the heat on the radiators and all the windows opened so we could get fresh air and cooling if we wanted it. The tourist booklet provided in the room is one of the best I've every seen - very detailed and in 3 languages (Czech, English, and I don't recall the third). The map they provided of their location along with a few recommended restaurants was helpful as well. We chose to eat breakfast on our own but they have the option of what looked and smelled like a wonderful breakfast and is included is some room rates or you can let them know 24 hours in advance if you'd like breakfast (for a very reasonable fee). Thank you!! Great value for a fabulous place to stay (I chose Budget in Expense category because the rate we received for 2 nights for our October stay was incredibly priced at $58 (yes, U.S dollars) per night.

We visited first week in Septmeber - two couples and one baby when having overnight trip to Cesky Krumlov. We were given the apartment at the back - long hall with a closet gets you in lovely kitchen/dining area where little sofa and tv is. We had 2 bedrooms, one was double bed and second one had twin beds in, both bedrooms had their own bathroom. There is a door coming from the kitchen area into the garden what is lovely. Kitchen is well equipped, we haven't use it as only stayed for one night, there is a selection of alcoholic and soft drinks in the fridge what is very reasonably priced. The beds are very comfortable, shower fine, there was just a bit odd smell coming from the loo what disappeared when we opened the window and let some fresh air in. The owner left a file with directions to the castle including the caste tour info, map and draw on the map which restaurants we should try. Location is perfect, just cross the road, bridge and you are in the old town centre, maybe 6 mins walk. Only thing is - if you don't eat too much for breakfast then don't bother to pay the €3.80, I only had 2 eggs, bacon and cup of coffee, its definitely worth it if you eat a lot as there is massive selection of food - hot and cold. Would definitely stay again. Amazing value for money.

all I can say is that I agree with other reviews. from the time Michael picked us up to the time he dropped us off, we found the staff, location and room perfect. We felt sorry we only booked for one night and are trying to rebook sometime next year, but it is deservedly popular. We had thought the town was a distance away but Michael told us of a short cut and aimed with all the brochures he gave us, we had a great time exploring the town which won our hearts

The apartment is not maintained in a proper way, the bath cabine was very DUTY and discasting. The wall in the living room requires paint. The towels smelled really discasting as well. The hosts charge money but don't want to take care of the property as needed. The pension is located next to garrbage cans and there is a lot of garrbage on the way to the old city. Really discasting! There are much more better places to stay in the Old Town. If you want to visit Cesky Krymlov, book ONLY!!! in the old town.

Thank you for your review, 2 months after you checked out, and after our respond on booking. So once again: you spend 2 nights in our most popular apartment. Apartment has 70 square metres. Was partly reconstructed last winter, and we spent 40 times more, than you paid :-). In living room, there is 20 cm small part of wall, which was destroyed by suitcases of guest stayed there before you. Now, second day after you left, everything is fix up and repainted. we didn´t want to cancel your stay, because of this. For mess next to publi garbage bins, we´re sorry, but it is municipal area, we don´t manage these things. Hopefully for your next stay, you´ll choose better place than ours. Btw. we are located in first historical zone, technically in old town centre :-). Michal
