Vintage is the first word comes into my mind when I check-in. The decoration, color tone - everything looks so vintage in there! As Cesky Krumlov is a old small town, the pension is perfect to keep such a vintage style so that you feel like you are really having a historical experience. There is no elevator, but it is more or less the same for all other accommodation nearby, and it’s completely acceptable. The host is nice, passionate and helpful. The location is right in the middle of the town, so everywhere is easily accessible within a short time. Meanwhile, it’s a quiet place even it’s in the middle of the town, so we can enjoy a very good sleep at night. Overall, it is a highly-recommended guesthouse.

Wonderful stay at Pension Nostalgie and in Cesky Krumlov. Spacious room, comfortable, very clean - with a lovely view of the castle (ground floor room). Nice, large table in the room was an added plus - all perfect for us and our short stay. Good, plentiful cold breakfast with many selections. Easy walk (downhill, cobblestone) from the shuttle drop off or station. Check in was easy - if not here you can ring or just walk further to the corner antique store. Home is from 1529, nicely renovated.

We stayed for 3 nights with hostess Jana. We had the upper floor with queen and single bed in the bedroom, seperate living room and bathroom. The rooms were furnished to suit the house, very clean and tidy. Included in the tariff was a breakfast with a considerable selection. The views out of the living room window of the castle were unbelievable (especially once it snowed). A hop skip and jump to everything CK has to offer. Jana was a kind and considerate hostess and Vladimir was on hand regularly to offer suggestions and answer questions.

The view from the first-floor room is good as well. We can see the beautiful painted tower from the window. There are just three rooms in this B&B and two rooms are on the first floor and one room is on the upper floor. Our room on the first floor with two windows is a little larger than the other one on the same floor. The hostess was very kind and suggested us begin our breakfast from 7:00 because we would take a shuttle to Hallstatt at 7:50.

Pension Nostalgie is located down a medieval alley only about 100 metres from the main square in Chesky Krumlov. It is a multi-storey house dating back to medieval times itself, and offers three rooms for rent which all basically look out towards Cesky Krumlov castle. We stayed in 'Castle View Room 2', which comprised a nicely furnished, comfortable bedroom plus a modern bathroom with bath. Facilities were excellent.Pension Nostalgie's location makes it perfect for wandering the streets of the Old Town, and the nearby castle is only a few minutes walk across a bridge and up the hill. Breakfast is included in the tariff and this comprised a continental breakfast with considerable choice. There are many cafes and restaurants close by for lunches and dinners. The guesthouse is owned and operated by Jana (Jane) and her son Vladimir. Vladimir also owns a nearby antiques shop that was extremely interesting to visit. Both Jana and Vladimir could not have been more friendly or helpful. In summary, we stayed there for three nights and couldn't have been more pleased with the room and its facilities, the location and the friendliness of the owners.
