Nice wel located Garni Hotel in the old town of Cesk Krumlov. Newly refurbished rooms with nice bathroom and good breakfast in nearby hotel (in price included). By unfortunate on a noisy street. Parking possibility, which is important in Cesky Krumlov.
The Villa Margarita is one of two pensions operated just before the bridge into Cesky Krumlov's old city. This is a great location to launch your visit, and makes it easy to get in and out of the city. We arrived by bus, and it was a short walk to Villa Margarita. Breakfast is good and filling. Rooms are very basic - think upgraded nature camp, and the beds are very hard.
There are numerous merits in staying at Villa Margarita. Decent breakfast(inclded in the room), good location, free parking space, free wifi, kind and accomodative staffs, 20% discout on rafting if your are interested in the activity. Strongly recommended!!!!!
The Penzion is located in a good area, not far to walk from the bus station and a short walk to the main square. The reception for Villa Margarita is at Hotel Myší Díra, so you will need to go here first to check in and get the keys. The rooms are clean and spacious but we found that the bed was slightly uncomfortable. There was no fan or air conditioning and it was very hot so we opened the windows to let some fresh air in at night but unfortunately it gets very noisy when people are walking past talking. With the Penzion being a modern design, every noise was echoed from each room, e.g - opening and closing doors got very noisy! Overall it was ok for just a very short stay but I would consider staying elsewhere for a longer stay in Česky Krumlov.
Actually, run by the same people as pension mysi dira, and rooms are in the same style. Clean, and nicely decorated rooms (simple rustic pinewood furniture), and new bathrooms. Decent breakfast, and located in the old city, at a good price. I recommend it.
Only one night in Cesky Krumlov but what a beautiful town it is. The budget room we stayed in at the Villa Margarita was perfectly adequate - great location and a very nice buffet breakfast included in the price. The room had a pitched ceiling so space was a bit tight but otherwise everything is what you'd expect for a well maintained budget room. 950 kroner a night seemed good value to us.
