We stayed for 3 nights, in the midst of August. A family of three, including a toddler and myself being pregnant. The bed was brand new and most comfortable and the room was really clean and practical (big closet etc) !! That's all you need in a situation like ours. Maybe the spare bed could use some care as it was a bit old. However, we very much enjoyed our spacious room, our beautiful balcony with a wonderful view and the pool. I must add that Mrs Elizabeth was mostly polite and helpful since our first call for reservations, even when we later asked for an additional room for a friend to join us on the trip. The location is also great as you are just a bit away from the crowded Skala. We'll definitely have the place in mind for a next visit!!!
The place is situated overlooking the harbour so the views are great. It’s got everything you need for a relaxing break....pool,bar/restaurant, lovely staff and the rooms are great.Soft cotton sheets on a comfy bed, nice bathrooms and even basic kitchen amenities if you specify that’s what you need! It’s got day trips and more, or just explore. I’m a returning customer and I love this place.
It was the first time my partner and I had visited Agistri and staying at Milos just made it perfect. We had a very warm welcome from Elizabeth in reception on our arrival. The room given to us was facing out to the sea which was beautiful to wake to every morning. It was clean, spacious, great balcony area, quiet in day and night & AMAZING COMFY BEDS!!!! Food available was so yummy and presented like you were in a top restaurant. My partner highly recommends the homemade chocolate brownie. Every morning for breakfast we were greeted by a very sweet young lady who always gave us a smile and served us. We ate fresh fruit and yoghurt every morning with honey, orange juice and a choice of either tea or coffee. Other places to eat are within walking distance, same as if you need something from a supermarket. You can also hire bikes. We would 100% come back to Agistri and stay at Milos. …
I stayed in this hotel for a week in 2016. I always thought that I am not that kind of a person who is just swimming in the swimming pool and do nothing all day. Well it turned out that sometimes I am. I was eating breakfast (half omelette with cheese, bacon and tomatoes), Greek yogurt with honey and nuts, drinking fresh orange juice (yumm) and tea and my friend was going to lay on a sunbed next to the pool and I was going to pick fresh figs from the tree that was next to the hotel. After that I was swimming and having sunbath and then swimming again and so on. I wasn't even listening to the music, only the sound of the sea. After around 6 we were taking a bikes and going to Skala to eat dinner-mules in a wine sauce. I have never been so relaxed in my entire life.
A perfect balance of relaxation and adventure. - Laze by the pool looking out across the harbour to Aegina and Athens - Want a day of adventure? Just ask Elizabeth. Great value day tours are available in a small group. Christos has the local knowledge of places and people to make the boat trips great value and lots of fun. Explore Hydra & Poros, snorkel over ruins, see ancient amphitheatres, be treated to fantastic food at a remarkable price. - Rooms are modern, well maintained and very clean. - A shaded deck area with bar and very reasonably priced restaurant overlook the pool and out to the view. - Right above the harbour it is easy to access from the Flying Dolphin which brings you to Megalochori, the main town of Agistri. - Reach Athens in an hour on the water taxi. Take the train to Omonia then to the Acropolis station. I recommend seeing the new Acropolis Museum before going up to the Acropolis. They have challenges and treasure hunts for the kids. Some parts of the floor are clear so you can see archeological digs that are complete or continuing. - Catch the island bus to other beaches around the island for a bit of variety or walk to Skala, another town of restaurants and beaches nearby. - A supermarket and lovely bakery are a short walk up the hill. - The staff are friendly and very helpful. They go out of their way to make sure everyone is looked after. - We stayed in the family room and a joined room. We had plenty of space and a kitchenette to make tea and coffee or some simple meals. We sometimes made our own breakfast or lunch but quickly realised there were many good value options so close that we couldn't be bothered. (The bakery had huge rolls for lunch for 2.50€) - Rooms are air conditioned, well insulated and can be totally darkened. - We met quite a number of people who have been coming back year after year and we can see why. - Our teenagers don't want to leave.... and neither do we!…
