We visited Sheridan beach resort in February 2020, we were two couples and we really enjoyed our stay. The resort is located in front of a beautiful, clean beach with warm water and hotel offers sunbeds to its clients. You can order drinks or food to your sunbed from the restaurant and from early morning till late in the afternoon this area is generally checked by hotel's staff. The beach is not private but we didn't feel any danger, really. Restaurant is ok with variety of choices both in breakfast but also for the other meals. Breakfast was included in our room the other meals not but we ate 3 times there and the food was fine. Prices range in european standards. Staff was very polite, no complaints about that. One extra advantage of the hotel is that is located very very close to Sabang boat terminal (walking distance), where the boats for the subterranean river start and also very close to Sabang zip line. So, there are interesting activities nearby. Also, in walking distance you can find a nice market, restaurants. and massage centers Generally is a very good hotel located in a beautiful place but the rooms and generally the facilities need renovation because the hotel is a little old.…
Stayed for a couple nights after a typhoon cancelled our ferry to Coron. Trip down from El Nido was long and expensive but worth it. Resort itself is nice, albeit a little tired. The pool is massive and not that many people around. Rooms are clean, spacious and well equipped. The staff are all very friendly and helpful (like all the locals in Palawan). Hotel is in absolute prime position if you want to visit the underground river, which I highly recommend. The only downside of the place is the food, we had been in Palawan two weeks prior (staying mostly in budget places and eating in local restaurants) so had a pretty good idea what to expect. First night, my girlfriend orders ‘western style food’, completely inedible. I order local food, absolutely awful. Prices are much higher than going to the local restaurants but I guess that’s what you expect at these sort of hotels. Honestly couldn’t bare to pay these prices so spoke to catering management the same night about our concerns and he kindly waived the bill. Breakfast the next day was okay, lots of fresh food but a limited selection of hot foods. The next night we allowed the waiter to recommend all our food for us, it was obvious they knew we had complained the previous night because they were all being very very attentive. Honestly, we never had a problem with the service - just the food itself. The food was definitely better that night, but not the standard you would expect at this kind of hotel. On our departure, we opted to go for one of the cheaper transfer services to the airport and not the hotels private transfer. This never showed up and we ended up having to book a last-minute one from the hotel (they were very helpful). If you’re not willing to risk missing your flight, I would probably just pay the premium and use the hotels private transfer. …
I Will start with I have just read the last few Neg reviews and rest assured, none of this occurred with us. We loved it. Due to feeling poorly and need of aircon (self-inflicted - not coronavirus but more margarita flu :-) ) cut short port barton and on the advice of the hire car place chose Sebang and the Sheridan. Was told by the hotel in Port Barton "Why? Nothing there". She was very wrong. Amazing drive-in with the mountains to the ocean. Staff more than helpful and the entry once you see the pool out to the bay is incredible. I would have preferred to felt unwell here than where we were earlier! But I was back up to speed on arrival here and everything you needed was available. As per a few comments, some of the tours are not the cheapest, but that is the price you pay when staying at a flash resort. deal with it! We did and had an amazing time. Booked the underground tour, ATV bikes (great fun!) and a massage. Food was OK. Breakfast was nice (great omelets) but a little limited. Nothing to write home or complain about and probably the only thing that could be improved. Nothing bad, just boring choices (Exception being the Sheridan burger - craned into the table - definitely for two people and perhaps three. Tasty but HUGE!) The best part was the pool bar and a night I like to call "coconut brain cell massacre" Met up with people from around the world and drinks were flowing. Lunch led to dinner and a slow start the following day. Happy hours and great service. Kent the barman was amazing. Just a young bloke starting out there but kept us entertained and well fed and watered. A credit to the hotel. While I spent too much there, it was all worth every peso. I loved it and had an amazing stay. A great place and a great base. Thank you.…
A bit expensive, but it's reasonable considering the costs associated with coming to the area. It's great to stay here to be closer to the Underground River. I would say that it is definitely worth the extra expense to stay closer to the tours to be able to beat the crowds coming in from Puerto Princesa. Rooms are comfortable, air con works well. Food is fine, although vegetarian options are limited. One thing worth mentioning: it feels like transfers are padded so that you are persuaded to organize "informal" arrangements, through hotel workers. As soon as we arrived, someone told us that he could help us arrange for a car to our next location, at a better price than the hotel transfer. This is what we did - and it was significantly cheaper - but it seems like the hotel could just reduce the cost of the transfer and discourage this informal skimming.…
we've checked in last march10..the following day, i asked the housekeeping to set up our bedroom for a surprise..oh my god!! they made it quick!! thank you so much guys!! i really love you housekeeping department and so with the front desk people..

I am the manager, they said we wont pay. (It was already paid online) And the incredible Mico said: You have to pay, if you don’t pay I call the pulis !!!! Incredible Mico ... first time in my life this happened ...
Most expensive place I've stayed at in all my travels, but absolutely worth every peso. Especially as I got a poolside-room upgrade för 10 Euro!! I loved the poolside bar, good food in restaurant, the possibility of going between pool and the sea in just a few seconds.
1. Lack of Timely Response: It takes over a week for every question I asked over email to be responded, when I called I was told to email them the questions. To be fair when they do respond, it is pleasantly written or responded to over the phone - it just depends on who you get. 2. Cancellation: my stay had to be cancelled due to Philippines imposing a travel ban on Taiwan where I was flying out from, and the resort refused to refund me fully despite it is their government that does not allow me to enter. It is unreasonable to not make any effort in resolving this and kept my money It is unfortunate this is what I experienced as I do recognize this resort has excellent location. But with this level of customer service it will ruin anyone's vacation mood and I will never rebook my stay with Sheridan.…
This was my second visit to Sheridans First time i visit this hotel in 2017 and all was good and i can compare my both stays. This year it was terrible. Staffs are friendly and ready to help anytime BUT ... everything overpriced. And the main problem was the payments for everything. BILL-When they bring you the bill to pay each time they do mistakes. They are trying to overcharge you 2-3 times. I stayed 7 nights here and all 7 nights i had to go reception and check our room bills and every time they have something more in our bills. Finally they correct the bills but its very uncomfy to check everyday. CHECK YOUR BILLS Airport TRANSFER- we arrive this hotel by our own transfer from Apulit island. Return Transfer was included in our rate but they charged as for departure transfer when we checked out!! ROOMS - I had king size bed room which is most expensive room it this hotel , so bed was broken. All facilities ate outdated very much. Fortunately they clean the room ok. Housekeepers are OK. So usually im not making bad reviews but we did not like our stay at all. I will not suggest this hotel to anyone. There are nice hotel nearby which is much better. …
We do not know what to expect when I booked Sheridan for a short fam vacay. Here’s some detailed review based on our experience. Room 167 is perfect location for me and my son. It’s right in front of the kiddie pool. My son hates to leave that pool. Room 157 is on the other side facing the garden. Our room is located in the building near the reception hall. Rooms were clean, it has the basics that you need. We Have double single beds set up, it could be nicer to have a queen size bed as it is too small. There is one restaurant in the resort, however you can walk nearby, there were few restaurants outside where I will put my review as well. Their breakfast selection is just right. My son loves the egg station. Thank you to the guy in the egg station, and the girls and boys in the restaurant, I did not get their names. I love the danggit they served during breakfast on the last day. They also have acoustic nights and fire dancers which my father enjoyed😂 The beach is beautiful. The waves were quite rough during our stay. But the view of the mountains and the beach were amazing. The sand was so fine, its not as white as Boracay or El Nido but the sand was to die for. It’s so fine that you will not feel the bits and pieces of sand on your skin. It’s so nice on your feet. My son loves to make sand castle and run with the woopies (a.k.a waves) We also tried the ATV Car it’s around P1200 per person, it was really fun experience for me, my sis and father. You will travel 1km till you reach the location. It was really enjoyable. We were the only once who were in the track, thanks to the two guys I did not get their names. We did not do other trips like Underground River and Island hopping, we have done this all before. It’s not our first time in Palawan If you were family traveling together, better get their round trip car hire it’s P5,500. Make sure you put your seat belts on, it’s a zigzag ride to the resort. Bring food in the car as the travel is like 1 hr and 45mins if I am not mistaken. If you ask me will I come back, I would say yes. Great team, great beach and less hassle during booking, why not.…
