What a wonderful and cozy hotel in a great location. The staff, especially Giovanna & Elena, made us feel like we were part of the Valbruna family. The accommodations were comfortable, cozy and great in all the ways one hopes for. Yes, we will return next year and hopefully for years to come. Dan Foxx

We booked for three nights. There were so many places to walk around. The natural museum was amazing and forest sound track. There is an everyday cleaning of the room and other add ons an making sure that everybody is comfortable. Thanks for the customer service support from the RECEPTION she helped much to compensate the missed sauna due to COVID in our stay. The breakfast lady is amazing. place is quiet and super relax and clean. Highly recommended

We were absolutely blown away by the love and thouthfullness that infiltrates every aspect of Valbruna Inn. We showed up late at night and were greeted by Anna, who has the most incredible beaming smile and warm presence. She instantly made us feel completely at home, like we were family. It didn’t stop with her either, each and every staff member was so kind and helpful. The rooms were beautiful. They still maintained the cozy, traditional feel of the village, while incorporating some luxurious high end details, like the gorgeous shower and sink. There were small, thoughtful details peppered all through out our experience at Valbruna Inn. The room was immaculate, I felt like I truly could relax and unwind here. The breakfast buffet was so tasty. A beautiful spread of fresh juices, muesli’s, eggs, cheeses, pastries - we looked forward to breakfast every morning. The location is perfect, right in the heart of town, but it still feels calm and quiet. The Inn prides itself on being 5 hearts instead of “5 stars” which I absolutely love. I would give it both 5 hearts and 5 stars without hesitation. We can’t wait to return here to the Valbruna Inn. Highly recommended to anyone thinking about coming to Valbruna.

The Inn is simple but wonderful. Nothing over the top. Clean rooms and good food. Staff is wonderful. The dry sauna and yoga room was perfect for after ski relaxing. The breakfast in the morning had everything we needed. Coffee was great!

On our way from Salzburg to Ravenna Italy we spent the night here. We did not know what to except but were overwhelmed in several ways. First we were greeted with excellent English and friendly hospitality. Second, our room was amazing with double shower and balcony view of the Julian Alps where we enjoyed a bottle of local red wine from the bar. All that upon arrival.

My friend Anni and I drove out of our way into far northeastern Italy to stay at the Valbruna Inn Hotel after learning about it at a very nice clothing shop in Vail, Colorado - also named Valbruna. We anticipated a simple inn but were more than pleasantly surprised by the charm of the facility and the warmth of everyone who runs the business. Our room was very spacious and fully pine paneled but it was the shower and the bathroom that amazed us - all very modern and comfortable to the standards of any highly rated hotel. Our dinner was fun and excellent. After dinner they have a "library" adjacent to the bar run by Anna who can offer you any one of 20 or more grappas - if you are a fan as I am. Valbruna is in hiking and climbing country. I met six people from Berchtesgaden, Germany south of Salzburg who had come to Valbruna just to take advantage of the quality of the hiking. Sort of like carrying coals to Newcastle but it was why they came to Valbruna.

Staying at Valbruna Inn was a delight. The hike on the Alpe-Adria-Trail to Valbruna is really hard and by the time we arrived at Camporosso we were exhausted. We rang Valbruna Inn after we failed to find a taxi and Anna kindly picked us up within 10 minutes. She was so friendly, informative and kind, speaking perfect English. The Inn is lovely with cosy rooms, an informative guest book, a little bowl of fruit, free bottles of water, a lounge room/library where you can sit and relax. The staff is super friendly, speak at least 3 languages and make sure you have everything you need. I had left something behind in my room and Anna called the next hotel, and a staff member who lives in Tarvisio was kind enough to drop it off for me. How good is that? This Inn knows about service that's for sure. And oh, the breakfast was amazing too, everything you might want, plus GREAT cappuccinos! Thanks everybody. It was wonderful.

Our one night stay was not enough (we were hiking the circular Alpe Adria Trail), so we returned within a week and will be back again soon....hopefully this coming winter! Impressive attention to details. Friendly, helpful staff. Delicious breakfast and dinner. Lovely mountain setting/views. The wifi didn't work during our first stay, but upon our return the issue had been resolved - Thanks Anna!
