We were in the area for a wedding and needed somewhere to change beforehand and to stay afterwards. Our room was ready before the official check in time, was clean and had everything we needed. Landlord and staff friendly and helpful. We had time for a generous bar snack before departing for the wedding, a late return was no problem... More

Booked this at last minute to visit Brighton marathon so couldn't really be fussy. But as a room in a hotel it was a bit of a con, cooked breakfast extra £5 and had to be ordered day before, sorry furniture (meant to look olde world) broken window catch so no security and a teeny weeny bathroom and cold shower... By your review you left here unhappy but failed to mention this to any of the staff. Signage is for all guests, unfortunate you found them excessive, we will look at placing the non obligatry notices in folders. We are a B&B not a Hotel, Hotel prices are a lot more expensive and in some instances no breakfast is included,... More

We stayed a night here when visiting the College. It is comfortable and welcoming. The rooms are well appointed and clean... don't worry if the hot water takes a while to arrive - it will! The food is good, too. Good value for money and I recommend it to all types of traveller.

We stayed one night here. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable. Staff attentive. Our online Booking request for gluten and lactose free breakfast was fulfilled so this gets many stars! Mobile phone reception and WiFi nearly inexistent so if this is important be warned. Typical of an English Inn, decor is "dated", but altogether it suited our needs. The cleaning staff... More

Had a very pleasant overnight stay at the Ardingly Inn when visiting the Bluebell Railway’s “Giants of Steam” event. (The railway is less than 10 minutes drive away). We had stayed in the inn quite a few years ago. The accommodation was not very good then and we were pleased to see a very marked improvement. More rooms have been... More

I booked a double room at Ardingly Inn over the telephone on Thurs 6th Aug. The person who took my reservation told me he was not the owner but could take my booking. I gave my bank card account details in good faith. Crucially, at this time; the employee failed to make me aware of the scaffolding covering the entire... More

The room was pleasant and clean with the only fault being the shower. It had an unusually small shower head and very low water pressure, the water also wasn't hot in the evening. Having said this it was still good value for money. The staff were all very friendly and the Inn had a very good atmosphere. They also served... More
