Nice little apartment complex between two bays. The owners gives you wonderful tips for trips out of the island. The Pool-bar is characterized by a high-quality range of snacks and drinks. The apartments are beautyful and offer enough spare for a family of four. It is best to enjoy the sea in the morning, because it is all yours.
Clean simple rooms in a great location between two amazing beaches. The owners were very kind and helpful. We had an amazing time. The pool had limited hours of use, which was a first for me. Since the island is completely full of things to do, and there are great beaches right there, this was not a big deal for us, but if you have a little one and are planning to hang around a pool all day, then maybe not for you.
This was our first visit to Tinos and it was made extra special by Natassa and George at Zalonis ! They couldn't have been more attentive. We loved that they took an interest in all their guests and enjoyed their afternoon homemade snacks and raki !! (Thanks Natassa) The beach was a short walk away and we found some great places to eat within walking distance. The ferry was easy and everything ran smoothly. We will definitely be back !
We were met at the port by lovely Natasha a greek canadian who with her husband Giorgos run the apartments, she even stopped at a little shop for us to get some provisions. We were given the upstairs studio, which had great views towards the town of Tinos and one of the 2 beaches where these apartments are situated. We had a table to eat indoors and one outside also the use of the roof terrace with great views both ways, which you might have to share with apartment next door if occupied. The room was great nice bathroom, kitchen with hob and fridge and cooking utensils. George said that he gradually renewing the kitchens in all the apartments, the bed was comfortable and cleaned everyday.. We loved the pool which was warm and sheltered from the wind which can blow on Tinos, but having 2 beaches on either side meant that you could get away from it. George is proud of his island and told us of lots of places to visit including his own hilltop village which we have not known about. Natasha arranged a car for us at a very competitive price, which we used to get to the ferry port later. There is a bus about 5 minutes walk that takes you into Tinos town directly so you can do your shopping as there is not a shop nearbye as the local one having closed down due to the economic situation in Greece.Look out for the pelican down by the new harbour. Next to the apartments is a small taverna serving drinks which you have beside the pool and a small selection of food, there are several beach bars and 4 tavernas within a 10 minute walk. Tinos is an island which is often overlooked but has so much to offer without the mass commercialisation of Mykonos next door. Thank you Natasha and George for a great time, hope to be back, definitely a place to visit.…
My holidays started 20th of August until 28th of August, we were 3 families together staying in Zalonis apartments. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and our hosts Natasa and Giorgos helped us in anything we wanted. The rooms are 15 meters from the beach and you can always choose between the very clean swimming pool and the sea. Our kidos enjoyed our staying there and we are looking forward to visit them next year as well. Forgot to mention that the last night of our staying we have a big party by the pool with everyone invited from the other apartments. Giorgo and Natasa I would like to THANK YOU for making our staying in Zalonis apartments unforgetable.
