The first time in Lombok and I am so glad we chose this hotel as a part of our multi centre holidays. This place has the best staff looking after the guests. They are woe welcoming and humble, which makes all the difference. We have traveled a lot, but Sudamala team is pure gold. The resort is so beautiful, it is quiet if you want a nice relaxing break from the crowds. It has the most amazing pool and the views to die for. The food in the restaurant was amazing. The Chef was so accommodating and was always there to make sure everyone was happy with their meals. We ate the best food here, and we are quite fussy eaters, so it’s says a lot. The room was decorated with a local touches. It was so clean and just perfect for a relaxing night sleep. The beach is beautiful and quiet. We had a dip in the sea and it was pleasant. To summarise, this was one of our most memorable experiences and we definitely will be returning. The Lombok itself of course is not like the Bali, and you can see that it needs a lot of investment for the tourism to flourish, but the good people of this region are making all the difference. They are welcoming, warm and friendly. …
The staffs was so friendly and nice, they willing to give a 100% effort for our needs and hospitality. The foods was truly exquisite and incredibly delicious which was made by Chef Juandi, he is also friendly, nice and kind. The chef always decorate our leftovers when we are too full to finish them. The breakfast and dinner was truly Amazing. We wish we could have stayed longer.
This was hotel no 3 of 4 on our 18 day holiday of lombok and bali and perhaps the best room we stayed in and was excellent value for money ( we stayed in a sunset room ) and this definitely did what it said . Yes you will hear the waves and they can be noisy but we were okay with it . This is a modern property and very well kept , the pool was nice . The staff as expected were excellent and although breakfast isn’t included we did take up the offer , it’s not buffet but we prefer that - it’s cooked / prepared to order so fresher and you don’t overeat . Our only issue whilst staying here was on our final full day when we received a note in our room telling us that the hotel was hosting a private party from 6pm to 9pm for about 100 people but we were assured it wouldn’t effect our stay - it did. We couldn’t use the pool and the sunbeds / sunset tables were moved - the sunbeds to in front of our room although we were upstairs we chose to go out to Panang Bai for a walk. Later , upon our return about 3 ish the guests had already arrived and were taking over the whole outside area and taking over the sunbed area . We were pushed out and after an issue of being filmed by one of these guest we sought out the manager and complained . Later that evening we couldn’t use the restaurant as due to the weather the party moved into there making it unavailable to us . We went to the Kliff nearby and glad we did but as I emailed booking.com to complain, and the hotel , yes we understand they’ve had a couple of tough years and they need the business but this shouldn’t be at the detriment of paying residents. We did resolve this to the satisfaction of both parties but I don’t know whether other guests came away feeling this was resolved for them . Would we recommend- yes although the small beach area may be unusable at times due to the tide and there isn’t a lot to do in the area ( we did a trip to the Gili islands ) .…
Stayed 3 nights at the one bedroom villa. The resort was beautiful, clean, and well kept. The service was fantastic - prompt and personal. The villa was well kept too, with a decent sized pool, comfortable beds, and amenities. We loved the place. A word of caution for travelers with younger kids: The beach is rather narrow, rough and full of rocks. While great to look at, its not easy to swim in the waters here. Overall, we loved our stay at the property. If you are looking for a clean, comfortable, and quiet place, Sudamala is for you. Great ocean views are an added advantage.
Visited as part of a multi-destination Bali and Lombok trip with Tui and was not disappointed. This was our favourite hotel of all three we stayed at. Exquisite rooms, stunning sea views, impeccable service from the team and delicious food. From the moment we pulled up outside after a long day of travel, we felt instantly calmed by this beautiful resort. The room was a welcome respite, clean and cool with many thoughtful details and decorated beautifully. We enjoyed some lazy days by the refreshing pool, many a cocktail at happy hour and a beautiful, romantic seafood meal by the sea one evening during which we got engaged 🥰 (this is extra and can be arranged when you arrive). We also made use of the spa for a relaxing afternoon of massages and reflexology. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff here, the chef will personally attend your table to check you are happy with the food, the rest of the team will attend to all of your needs no matter how small. Breakfast was lovely (recommend the eggs benedict) and was washed down with a lovely cafe Latte. If you're looking for a little slice of heaven, you'll find it at Sudemala.…
Amazing place to stay. friendly and helpful staff, great food, great ocean view directly from bed, sunrise & sunset just a step from room, clean water, amazing outdoor bathtub, ease to access & kids friendly pool. Keen to visit again.
Great Resort, Staff, location and food. Cannot say more than this and don’t need too really, we spent a superb four days here. Just the small details like fresh cut flowers every day in the room, pool cleaned at least once a day, gardeners always present, chef cooking to order made this an outstanding stay on Lombok.
Really nice place, with excellent staff, clean room and facilities. Breakfast menu is for all nations, dinner is really good and also the cocktails are great! :) You can enjoy fantastic sunset views from Lombok to Bali.
First time visiting Lombok for a long weekend to take part in a Triathlon. The Sudamala Resort was an amazing place to stay. Views of Bali from the restaurant and pool, friendly and helpful staff. A great place to stay and keen to visit again.
I can’t quite put into words how amazing our time was here! The hotel is so beautiful and the staff are all so lovely, they really can’t do enough for you. We celebrated our anniversary on day we arrived and they had decorated our room with flowers! Such a lovely gesture. Then we had the romantic dinner on the beach which was so beautiful and food was amazing! They also had mad us a cake to take back to our room saying happy anniversary! Special thanks to Putri for everything he done this night and even making us bespoke gin cocktails. The breakfast is all made fresh and there’s a good range to chose from. It’s presented lovely and really high standards. The pancakes were our favourite! We also had the beach bbq one night which again was very nice and the light bites menu is great. We had a couples 3 hours treatment in the spa which again was amazing, it ended in a lovely relaxing bath which we probably stayed in a little bit longer than we should have but we weren’t rushed in anyway. The rooms are lovely and spacious and the outdoor shower is really beautiful and a great feature, toiletries provided were very high standard. All the staff greet you by name which is a lovely touch, the hotel was so nice and peaceful. Always a choice of sun beds and tables for dining. It’s a beautiful setting for sunsets and the sound of the ocean while relaxing during the day/night was lovely. On our last morning we had a floating breakfast in the main pool which was so lovely and an amazing thing to do on our last day here, again the staff were great and the presentation was beautiful. We really have had the best time here and would love to come back again. Thank you to everyone for your kindness. We will cherish these memories forever.…
