Very good location within the village. Small rooms. Smelly bathrooms with no ventilation. No sound insulation. You can listen everything that is happening in the corridor or nearby rooms. Unreasonable food prices and bad quality food. A small dish of baked patatos costed 600 lek, and the patatos seemed to be baked hours before. The yogurt they served was for sure not homemade. They have to improve managment and attitude if they want to keep being in bussines.

We were a party of 7 (4 adults+3kids), showing up „unsuspectedly“. This was in July of 2018. The owners gave us a warm welcome and tried to make our 3 day stay as perfect as possible. Of course we didn‘t have electricity a couple of times, so we went and put our Korça Beer bottles in the cold river. That is what we came here for, to have an Adventure! That is Part of the whole beauty of Theth. And in parts, to us Villa Gurra contributed to this. We booked our Blue Eye Trip through the owners. It is highly recommended! The food was excellent, they served so much, that we could hardly eat it all. On the 2nd Night, the owner got a fire going in the backyard for us. They brought us red wine and we played the Guitar half of the night! It was great. For our trip back we were short on Gas, the owner helped us out and charged next to nothing! Bear in mind that for what you are paying, breakfast and dinner is included, drinks are extra if I remember correctly. To bring food and beverage into Theth is a pain, since roads aren‘t fixed yet. So, to us, there is no point to argue about a 0,66l bottle-price of Korça of 300 ALL (still a bargain). Theth is not Tirana! Our stay was very pleasant to sum it all up. I would return to stay here any day!

They make most of their money off of unsuspecting tourists who didn't book an accommodation beforehand. The general price for a room in Theth is 30 euro for one room with two guests. This particular management charges you 35 euro. The food is overpriced significantly and also terrible. We ordered a salad, fries, beers, and yogurt. It came out to be about 10-15 euro. The salad was old tomatoes and cucumbers. I've lived in Albania for over a year, and I don't think I've had such a terrible overpriced tomato. And finally, I know there's a bus everyday in the morning and the afternoon to Shkoder. I confirmed with the owner more than three times that the bus will be there in the morning. Instead, in the morning, I cram into the back of a personal truck with three other people for 10 euro each, friends of the owner looking to make money off tourists. We didn't have electricity for half of our stay, and the owner didn't have any bottled water. Instead, he gave us two cups and told us to fill it up in the bathroom sink. The showerhead was completely broken, there wasn't enough toilet paper or soap. As the other reviews have noted, it's extremely noisy because of the wooden structure. What's unfair is that he'll keep making money off unsuspecting tourists. The owner is a shady guy who seems like he has the best intentions but don't be fooled. If you're looking for a place to throw your feet up after the hike from Valbona to Theth, this is NOT your place.
