All was better than expected! The reception was heartful, attentive and the crew never tired to fullfill all our wishes and book all our many restaurants and activities. Very attentive also with my kids, including cooking their caught fishes, harvesting more coconuts for them and opening them. Never had a nicer view from a holiday hotel room! Love the surf service / option from TropicSurf and the "Chillout" mood of this heavenly place!
Our family of 4 (mom, dad, two daughters in their 20s) had a wonderful time! The service was very friendly and attentive. Rooms are in bungalows rather than a single large building--our room connected to our daughters', which was perfect. One of our favorite things was that at check in, they asked what time you would like to have your room serviced for the day, and for turn down service! Everything was an easy walk--the restaurant, the front desk, pool, beach and spa. Our massages were delightful, and we enjoyed morning yoga on the spa deck looking out over the ocean. Lunch and dinner in the restaurant were very good, as were cocktails on the pool deck. Breakfast (included) was fine but not fantastic. The hotel was very helpful in arranging our transfers from St. Maarten, and also in renting an adorable electric SmartCar which was delivered to the hotel. They were also wonderful about making dinner reservations and a beach reservation at Gyp Sea Beach Club for the afternoon (don't miss it!) Speaking of transfers, the VIP transfer is not cheap but can be very worth it--our daughters' flight was delayed into St. Maarten, and the representative got them quickly through to our connection to St. Barts, as well as getting their luggage onto the next flight and to the hotel. The view is beautiful, watching the surfers out in the crashing waves. The beach is very comfortable for sitting and sunbathing...you can wade in the water, but the seaweed and harsh waves made it less desirable for actually swimming. But there is also a lovely pool just steps away. The hotel is off the beaten path, so if you want somewhere that you can walk to shopping or restaurants, this is not the place for you. But it was very peaceful and an easy drive into Gustavia or one of the many beaches, and five minutes from the airport.…
If the average luxury hotel on St. Barts is a high maintenance, instagraming, overly polished celebrity socialite, The Manapany is her chill and confident younger sister who surfs during the day and parties on the beach at night... This is the place where the effortlessly cool kids hang out. The location is stunning, best pool on the island, and the view of local surfers never gets boring. Lunch is incredible, the vibe is super relaxed and of course, the food is fresh and flavourful. Most importantly, the Manapany doesn't just give eco lip service, They are truly green and you leave feeling you've given more than you've taken from this beautiful place. The hard working and personable Staff are so happy to be there (they all surf on their downtime) , and take such pride in their home and their role in helping you have the best "break" possible.…
Great holiday. Setting for meals is phenomenal. Bar is great. Only negative is that they could clean the beach of the seaweed. Other than that - beautiful stay. Service was friendly and EXCELLENT
The staff was fantastic from the time time we arrived until we were dropped off at the airport. The food was varied and delicious- the breakfast (included) spared no expense and was 5 star just as lunch and dinner menus. The resort was certainly 5 star- a great mix of leaving you in peace while being right there for any request you had. We had a wonderful time and I highly recommend this to anyone.
Beautiful secluded beach hotel - seems to be a continuous breeze. Bar is excellent and staff most welcoming and accommodating. Lunch dinner and breakfast all on site and all worth savoring. We had a room with a view of the sea - worth paying extra for .
The best part of the experience was the staff. They were exceptional in everyway. The hotel is very eco friendly which we liked. However, they do allow smoking, which I was not a fan of. Overall it was the best island experience we have had in a long time. However, the beach is full of coral/rocks to make it hard to get into the water.
It was our first trip to St Bart’s and we didn’t know what to expect. We learned the island is a special place and the Hotel Manapany was the perfect choice. Secluded, exclusive and beautiful, it has the nicest staff we have ever encountered. We travel a great deal, all over the world, and we were so impressed by the friendliness and diligence of the mostly young people that were from France and other distant places. They seemed to appreciate their privilege to work in such a beautiful place. While there we looked at the Rosewood property, the Eden Roc and the St Barthelemy and are so glad we found Manapany….it’s delightfully boho chic with wonderful, wonderful people.
A great place to seek for relaxation and understated chic. Very nice staff working hard to make sure your stay is memorable. Love the free pilates and yoga sessions each morning with the best view in the world):
We visited from London for 2 weeks in December for our 2 year delayed honeymoon and we already want to come back!! Literally cannot fault this hotel at all, the staff are THE BEST on the island - we went out for lunch/dinner at least once a day (the hotel prearranged our itinerary before our arrival) and there wasn’t anywhere that compared to the Manapany staff! The rooms and facilities were always immaculate, the location of the hotel is true my beautiful! We loved how the hotels chilled vibes were different to elsewhere on the island so was a nice mixture. We cannot wait to return!
