We can not say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay at Casa Pina. It was even better than the web site depicted. We woke early to the sounds of the howler monkeys and then set out to explore - taking long walks, kayaking, swimming and more. Most afternoons were spent relaxing on the beach or on the stunning...

We stayed at Casa Pina from June 13-19th. It was wonderful. The description online and through emails was Lyn was spot on, so we knew just what to expect and it was exactly the kind of experience & location we were looking for. We spent every morning doing something fun & adventurous, and every afternoon lying in a hammock in...

This may have been the best family vacation we have ever taken. 2 adults and 2 children ages 6 and 13. The wildlife in the yard was beyond belief. The Golfo Dulce was fantastic. We stayed in La Pina and can't wait to return. Pictures and descriptions do not do justice. Just go.

We recently returned from our second wonderful vacation at Casa Bambu. Everything their website shows is true and then some.... This is the perfect location in the midst of the rainforest, at the edge of the ocean. The house has all the necessities while staying in harmony with and not disturbing the surrounding natural beauty. The owners arrange for a...

We stayed at Casa la Pina for a week in february, but would not choose Casa Bambu again. We are a family with 3 kids and we found especially the beach disappointing. It is VERY rocky - no matter the tide or were you go on the beach. It is nice for a quick swim or kayaking, but not suitable...

We do recall the children of this family having a great time surfing, playing on the beach, etc. so were surprised to read these comments. However, we don’t want to respond to this point by point, as we understand that this place isn’t for everybody. Instead, we would refer readers to our multiple 5-star reviews (including many families with children),...

I really don't even know where to begin. From the moment we opened the door at Casa Sonrisa (one of the four houses for rent on this little piece of paradise on Costa Rica's Osa Peninsula), when we were overwhelmed by the soaring ceilings and beautiful woodwork, to our very exciting night-time hike up King Luis Falls with manager Guillermo,...

Staying at Casa Bambu is a truly wonderful experience. It is a house that allows one unimpeded enjoyment of the natural wonders of the Osa Peninsula, while providing several modern comforts and conveniences. The simple, open and gorgeous design of the house allows guests to feel at one with nature - no screens on the windows and lots of wildlife...

What a great adventure from the start. We drove to the Osa and the pot holes had to be seen to be believed. Although they are in the process of improving the roads. We stayed in Casa Sunrisa- a house on stilts made of bamboo. Open air apart from the mossie net over the bed which makes it a little...

Absolutely amazing vacation for the entire family! We were fortunate to find Casa Bambu (stayed in Casa Linda). Totally off the grid (solar power & artesian well water) and we loved it! It is hard to be back home without the howler monkeys waking us up at 4am, or the macaws eating the nuts from the trees overhead and dropping...
