What an amazing place to spend a few nights in Costa Rica. After spending two days hiking around the Sirena Ranger station in Corovado -- I was amazed to see so many more monkeys and macaws hanging arounds Casa Bambú. It never got old!

We loved our time at Casa Sonrisa! Because this particular house sits back a bit on the hill, I think we saw even more wildlife than those closer to the beach, although the view of the Golfo Dulce was beautiful too. Case Sonrisa backs up to an area that could almost be considered a monkey playground! We saw 4 types... More

I had the great pleasure of visiting the Osa Peninsula on July 16 - 23, 2016. It was a bit of trek from San Jose to Osa, but well worth all of the trouble. I went on VRBO to find the wonderful Casa Bambu. They actually have 4 houses neatly seperated on a great piece of paradise in Matapalo. We... More

Had eight people in Casa Bambu and Casa Linda for a week...June 16-24 (2016). Trip was excellent and it was great to see Kirk and William. We had several troops of howlers close by on most mornings, and all of the other varieties of monkeys coming through everyday. Fun, uncrowded, head high surf all week. Most of our group did... More

We had such a good time when we stayed at Casa Bambu! The owners are amazing and helpful and the staff is awesome. I cannot tell you enough how great this location is, my view was insane to look out over Pan Dulce Beach everyday. Thank you again, Lyn and Kirk

After a strong recommendation from a friend (who stated, I wouldn't send everyone here, but this place if for you!) we thankfully decided to stay at Casa Bambu. The first night we stayed at Casa Sonrisa which is a similarly designed home. But for younger children, Casa Bambu is better because all the bedrooms are on the same floor. (in... More

What a trip!!! We just returned after a week stay in Casa Sonrisa. It is the house furthest back in the property, but is only a quick walk to the beach. If you like monkeys, this is the house! The monkey trail runs right around the house, and we saw howlers, spiders, and chaupins. I also managed to grab pictures... More

What an incredible experience! They say don’t drive the road to the house at night. Unfortunately, we ended up having to do so and drove in total darkness. There are several one-lane bridges with little to no guard-rails and two rivers to drive through. After driving 45 min, we finally arrived. Our little Daihatsu 4WD had been rattled to its... More

Our family of four stayed at Casa Bambu over spring break this year. This was our first time to Casa Bambu and the Osa Peninsula. The house, location, and management of the property exceeded our expectations. The house is beautiful, open air, lovely kitchen, porches where you can watch the sunrise, hear monkeys in the trees (as they have many... More

Very clean and well managed. Kirk and William were more than accommodating to all of our needs and went out of their way to ensure that our trip was fun and comfortable. We saw more wildlife on this property than anywhere else on the trip. Stayed in Casa Pina, Casa Bambu, and Casa Linda during our 9 night get away... More
