The rooms are great, the pool was full of algae and absolutely filthy. After 2 requests to clean it up they finally got the pool clean 36 hrs before we left. Unable to swim the entire time of our stay. Pascalles food is good, the service ok, but Sammy in the Bar is absolutely fabulous. The location is prime, if it wasn't for the pool we would have rated them much higher.
We had heard about this place so we went on a Sunday. I had previously arranged to play with the band. As I was being called up the power went out. That was that. Now, that’s no one’s fault and certainly not the Sky Beach Club’s fault. What I found somewhat disappointing was one of the main features; an infinity pool where you can wade right up to the bar and have a drink. That’s a very cool idea, but the water did not look all that inviting. The upside, and great fun surprise was Sammy the Bartender. He’s an exceptional bar tender. He talks at the speed of sound and is very funny. Sammy really made the somewhat inadequate experience totally worthwhile. If you stop by tell him Bobby from Vermont says “HELLO”!
Ryan with that beautiful smile, she's an amazing bartender. Very knowledgeable with all the amazing foods and drinks that they serve. Despite being extremely busy she ensured we were satisfied with the service
Enjoyed the hours there. Four of us and we went all a cart instead of all inclusive. Came late so it was best way. Good snorkeling go to left to see great stuff. Servers attentive and food very good with portions that mailed us up. 8 ships ported this day but I think we got lucky coming here as it was mostly local folks
Property run down. Drive in terrible condition. Pool and patio furniture in poor condition. Door locks hard to work, remotes missing, couldn't control air in bathroom,(it was freezing) and towels were abrasive. Sammy at the bar was the best part of the experience. CC is not employed by the company but portrays herself as one. She also enters guests quarters while they are out. Staff had seen her enter and exit my bungalow at different times. Keep anything of value on you.
This place photographs well but is not well-maintained. The roads are TERRIBLE and the house was just so-so. None of the furniture is comfortable. There are no games or puzzles, and the kitchen is not well-stocked. With no art on the walls or rugs on the floor, the sound in the house is anything but relaxing. Voices echo loudly, and any movement of the wood furniture produces horrible screeching sounds -- how hard is it to put pads on the feet of chairs and tables? The water pressure in the showers was very poor ... one of the showers in the master bedroom was broken. Not impressed. Won't come back.
My wife and I just returned from 5 nights at the Sky Beach and it was fantastic! Beautiful, clean, and a quiet getaway. Thanks to CiCi for regular updates on restaurants and other helpful information...she went above and beyond. Pasco and Sammy were also just wonderful. Highly recommended!
We just returned from an amazing vacation at one of the spacious and sunny villas in Sky Beach Club. The four bedroom villa was perfect with a bathroom in each bedroom and a gorgeous view of the Atlantic from the sunken living room. (I even got to enjoy beautiful sunrises from the private pool or on my morning beach walks) Our dinner at Pascal’s the third night was sensational. The staff was fabulous and friendly and my meal was delicious. We highly recommend a scrumptious tropical drink made special by Sammy at the swim-up poolside bar! The pina colada, Mai tai and margarita were top notch. It was truly a memorable, relaxing and incredible vacation and location.
This is our second visit to Sky Beach! This is a great property. Fantastic location 10 min to town. Gorgeous beach! Love having the restaurant on-site too! The staff is wonderful and very accommodating. We rented a four bedroom house. It was the perfect getaway for our family. We will be back!
We stayed at Sky Beach Club in bungalow #1 from July 28-August 1, 2021. It was a perfect home for us as we explored Eleuthera for the first time. I'll start by saying that if you're looking for a central location on the island, away from crowds of tourists, with a beach that defies description, this is the place. Add in the warm and helpful staff, the amenities like the pool bar, restaurant and more and you really have a package that can't be beaten. One thing to think about is what kind of vacation you want. Sky Beach might appeal more to folks like me who are ready for things to slow down around 10PM. We never had any trouble going to sleep, because the pool bar and restaurant were always closed down by then. Even at the height of the crowds, we never felt there wasn't plenty of room to stretch out. Locals and tourists may use the pool during the day and that was a lot of fun. Staying in the Governor's Harbor area provides plenty of opportunity to visit locations and establishments you'll share with locals. Those were my favorite times. I felt like less of an outsider and more of a guest. Everyone, whether we were in town or exploring further down the road, was helpful and kind. Random passersby would routinely pause just to say "good morning" to us and that's not something I'm used to in the states or in some other islands I've visited. If there was a tough part of our stay, it was our mattress. It's a very subjective topic, but for us it was far too unforgiving. For others, it's probably fine, but we started the mornings taking Advil. Also, be prepared for a short drive from the main road to the guest areas on a road that looks like it's been carpet bombed. I wouldn't drive a sedan on this road. A 4X4 is a must. To wrap up, we were very happy with our choice. The food we got on property ranged from good to truly exceptional. Sammy the bartender was always welcoming and ready with a delicious cold drink. The property manager, CC, gave us lots of great advice and was just two doors down if we needed anything. I would definitely stay at Sky Beach Club again!…
