Where should I start- everything about this B&B is excellent in this peaceful village. The reception, the room, the breakfast, easy access to the chateaux. Marie, the owner / host gave us a warm welcome to her "home", an ancient wine growers domain complete with a press for the grapes before showing us to our well equipped room which was cool and refreshing during the heatwave. Moreover I have never slept in such a comfortable bed. At breakfast everything was homemade - jams, yoghurt, cake etc. Last but not least Marie always had time for a chat with tips for visiting the numerous chateaux nearby and restaurants for an evening meal. Will go back as soon as possible to visit more chateaux.

This charming vintage B&B situated just outside of Amboise is delightfully well appointed with beautifully comfortable rooms, freshly renovated bathrooms and an abundance of fresh country air and lovely views from the full length windows in our room. Our host Marie was beyond accommodating, offering all sorts of local stories and suggestions to consider as we toured the Loire Vally each day by bicycle. She served a delicious breakfast each morning complete with homemade jams, fresh baguette, cheeses, yogurt, eggs and fresh fruit and lots of coffee. A truly lovely find in the heart of the Loire Valley that I would happily recommend...!

My partner and I stayed for 1 night in this most beautiful B&B. It is very close to Amboise so great for visiting the Leonardo de Vinci museum and Amboise. The whole experience was delightful from the moment we walked into the reception area. The room was stunning looking out into the private courtyard. The dining room was full of fresh flowers and the smell of lavender was beautiful. Marie, the owner was very friendly and her home made jams and yoghurt simply lovely. There is a park opposite which was great to walk around and we picnicked there in the evening looking at a small but very pretty chateau. In all excellent place to start our tour after a few days with friends in Bourges. I hope my homemade yoghurt turns out as good as Maries but I doubt it!

We were greeted warmly by Marie Blot, the owner of the house. Our room was beautifully decorated in French style. The rooms are large with a modern ensuite. She assisted use with restaurant recommendations & kindly booked them. Marie also directed us to the best chateaux to see in the area. Breakfast is included & very French with home made jams, baguette & home made cake. The hotel is a short 7 minute drive from Amboise, a quiet location. Amboise is a beautiful and full of history. I would highly recommend Marie Blots accommodation for those visiting Amboise.

We recently stayed at this lovely B & B in the countryside just outside of Amboise. Marie was very friendly and helpful...made suggestions for our stay and helped us with dinner reservations! The room was large, clean and very stylishly decorated. Towels were plush; shower and bath were spacious and up to date! What more could one ask! Ahh...almost forgot...the breakfast was wonderful...homemade breads, pastries, jams....and even homemade yogurt! I would highly recommend this B & B!!!! The price was very reasonable!

My adult daughter and I stayed two nights at this lovely Bed and Breakfast. By European standards the room was quite large. The location is quiet and peaceful, and close to Amboise's restaurants and other attractions. Aside from providing us with a delicious breakfast, which included homemade yogurt and cake, Marie is a very gracious hostess.

My husband and I just spent 4 nights here at the end of a 4 week trip to France. It is well located in terms of exploring the Loire Valley region and just a few kilometres away from the town of Amboise. Poce-sur-Cisse is pretty and quiet village with only a couple of restaurants. The room we stayed in was well appointed, lovely bed linen with a small but modern and clean bathroom. Marie is a dleightful host and there is plenty to eat at breakfast, including lovely home made cake and jams. Highly recommended.

The lady of the house is very nice and helpful. She will make reservations for you with a smile. We had a lovely romantic room with a brand new bathroom. Marie is serving a nice, simple breakfast (no croissants or eggs, but home made jam and cake). Good location to visit the Loire castles & wineries, but unfortunately you have to take the car to go to a restaurant. Private parking and wifi also very nice..

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in this B&B very much. Marie was a great host! She gave us helpful tips about attractions, bicycle rental and restaurants. We spent two nights here and loved the comfort of the rooms. Safe parking, close to major attractions and peaceful, it provided all we needed. We struggled a bit to find the B&B - directions were not very good. Make sure you ask for a map / directions before you go.
