NUMBER OF ROOMS
We had a two story unit for our family of five with two kitchens and bathrooms and a laundry room (something I look for when we travel as a family). The bonus was the extra large whirlpool tub which was a treat after snow tubing on the mountain. We really enjoyed our stay here, highly recommend this on ace and we will definitely visit again.
We booked 2 rooms at the Massanutten Hotels. We were in Building 5 with views of the ski runs. The rooms had 2 queen beds. The rooms were a great value with the nightly room rate of $87.00. We will definitely return based on the value and the activities available.
We love to visit Massanutten Resort because they have many activities for kids. The indoor water park has 5 huge slides (three that you have to ride on tubes) and a fun lazy river. The snow tubing hill is also huge and fast.
My kids and I had a wonderful time on our first trip to Massanutten Resort. Checking in to our condo was a breeze, and based on what I've read here, it seems we got one of the newly updated ones. It was beautiful, and everything was comfortable as well. The jacuzzi tub was enormous! There were very large tvs in both the living area and the master bedroom, and a smaller one in the kids' room. Though we had a partial kitchen, it had everything you'd possibly need. We had prepurchased time at the waterpark. Glad we did the twilight pass rather than a full day, as you get exhausted going up the stairs to the slides so many times! Everyone had a great time. We had a quick supper at the little cafe in the waterpark area, and I was surprised that the prices were really pretty reasonable. Our only issue with the waterpark was that the hot tubs, even the adults only one, were barely above lukewarm. Not sure if they're always like that, and I suppose somewhat understandable for the larger, kid friendly one (which was packed full!) but it would have been nice to have a few extra degrees. We ate the weekend breakfast buffet offered at the Campfire Grill, which was pretty tasty. Drove up to take in the scenic viewpoint, then spent some time in the arcade at the waterpark. Spend a lot of money there, but had fun as well. Then did the snow tubing that afternoon, which was definitely the highlight of our trip! So much fun! We made advance reservations, which I'd recommend as they were turning people away. That night had dinner from the bbq restaurant, and that was delicious. I definitely hope to return to Massanutten in the future. We had a great time.…
Did a great job on getting the trails opened to ski! The mattresses in unit need to be replaced and the couch has seen better days. It would be nice if the resort had shuttle service on property. At least if they could have a ski/snow board check overnight for a nominal fee would be great for those staying over night. Driving to slope everyday with all ski/snow board equipment is a task.
