Over the last few decades, I have been fortunate to visit Cooper Island on bareboat charters, and have been privileged to enjoy drinks and dinner at the restaurant while we stayed aboard our boat moored in the bay. Finally, this year we decided to spend 4 nights on shore in one of the 10 hotel units that overlook the bay...

Not cheap, but the food was interesting, fresh, tasty and home made. The chocolate cheesecake was particularly enjoyed. The service was good. It seemed to get quite busy, so worth making a booking, though it is possible to eat in the bar without a reservation.

My husband and I were sailing around the BVIs and I just so happened to fall ill when we were at Cooper Island. We had no intentions of staying at the hotel, but we checked and they just happened to have a room available. Sam and the rest of the hotel staff were so nice and accommodating, both during and...

My family and our Captain Christopher "Fancy" Hardin stopped at this amazing place. We had lunch (awesome) and had my favorite "Dark and Stormy" from the Rum Bar. My daughter loved the coffee bar and we bought a snorkeling mask, as we had a damaged one. Also....and this was so good, I had forgotten to get dishwashing detergent for our...

We spent the day at Cooper Island. First a wonderful locale. Great coffee at coffee bar. Great selection of rums. Just around corner there was a fantastic site for snorkeling. Full harbor. Good happy hour specials.

We stopped at Cooper Island intending to stay a single night to get a break from the boat. We ended up staying for thee days and would have stayed longer if we could. This place is perfection. Our room had a large private balcony overlooking the beach and harbor. The room is perfectly appointed - no TV or phone -...

8 of us took the dingy in for dinner and ordered Wahoo and Mahi Mahi and we were all very pleased with the plates that arrived. All the fish was nicely cooked and hot when it arrived. We all agreed we would stop in again next visit to Cooper Island.

This is a review of the club as a whole - staying in the cottages, getting the full board package, spending something like a week there. It's not for everyone, I admit. It's isolated, there is nowhere to stretch your legs, there are only two tiny shops. It may not be for everyone, but it's absolutely exactly what I want...
