It really hurts to write such a bad review for a place I have loved for years. We came ashore for lunch which was very good and had a lovely time on the beach. My wife spoke to the chef and asked him if he could make my daughter a vegan meal for dinner which he said was no problem. When we sat down to dinner my daughter ordered her vegan meal and the waiter said he would have to speak to the chef. When he came back, he said that the dinner chef would only make a vegan meal for guests of the hotel and since we were only there for dinner he would not accommodate her. It’s took a half hour and speaking with the manager to get them to agree. When her vegetable tiki masala came out it reeked of burnt cinnamon and was inedible. My chicken tiki masala was so bad I sent it back and declined the offer of a different meal. This is actually the first time I can remember that I’ve ever done this. My wife’s fish was acceptable but not very good. All in all this was a very poor meal from what is always been one of my favorite restaurants.

The restaurant was very good ! Fresh bottle of water on the table with a unique menu. The service was very good and attentive to our needs. The facilities were clean . The food was outstanding with a nice bar. The boutique was closed by the time we got off the boat.

Amazing stay at Cooper Island Beach Club! Everyone was so friendly and our kids loved the goats and hermit crabs. Only complaint was limited food selection for the littles but the beauty of the island made up for it. We look forward to returning!

Every sailing trip this is the last place we stay before we head home. Its a beautiful property, well maintained and the food is very good. Sunsets are amazing and the atmosphere incredible. Staff is great. Make a reservation early ... they fill up quick.

We arrived at Coopers Island Friday of last week. During the day, we called to make a reservation at the Beach Club and they informed us that they were full. We decided that since this is really the only place to eat - and we were running low of our own food on our boat - that we would do take-a-way. Unlike Hendo's Hideout where the waitstaff was friendly and helpful, there was an air of arrogance from the hostess/server that was giving us information. She informed us that we could not eat our food in the bar area which was very socially distanced from the main dining room, nor could we eat on the other side of the bar area which is best described as a hangout for day drinking - even if we required no server... just a place to sit. She told us that we could go down on the beach and eat there if we wished. We found that a bit ridiculous - but if you are very covid conscience, maybe you would agree. So we took our meals back to our boat and ate there. I have to say that my grilled catch of day (Mahi) was delicious. Probably one of the best fish dishes I had all week. Also, I noticed that the lobster was less expensive and just as tasty as anywhere else in the BVIs. Actually - this menu gave the most value, or bang for the buck. After we ate, we came back to visit their Rum Bar which is a very charming little place at the end of their boardwalk. To our dismay, we noticed two things on our walk by the restaurant... first there was plenty of empty tables to seat us in a socially distanced manner - and secondly, two women eating from their takeaway boxes in the exact area we were told not to eat!!! WTH? Either way - we went to the Rum Bar and had a few drinks... the ambiance at this place all around is great. The vibe of the bar and lighting around the seating area was definitely welcome after a long hard week of sailing. :)

Great food! Terrible service! We have sailed the BVI every year for the past 20 years. Always enjoyed our visit…This was our first week of 3. Was planning on coming back another 2 times. I can definitely say we will not be back. Such a shame!!!!

My family of four has just returned from 6 days at the club. Everything was excellent, noting the impact of covid on the hospitality industry. The communication with Karinna in advance of our visit was great. Our two room bungalow was comfortable and lovely in a rustic way. The morning breakfasts were delicious with many healthy options. The beach was what we wanted...warm white sand where one could read a good book! Food and drink was varried and delicious. Happy hour was great every day. Even the landscape was noetable and filled with humerus hermit crabs and small lizards. Our only downside was probably covid related in that the day trips off the island and even trips with the on-island dive shop were hard to find...information was shallow and confusing. Every member of my family has noted this vacation to be epic!

Have been coming to Cooper Island for over 16 years. Obviously trips been disrupted due to CV 19 But here we are at LAST ! Had drinks at happy hour in the afternoon after mooring up the boat. We made reservation for dinner. Cocktails taken on the REALLY comfy sofas before being taken to the table. Nice table on the terrace . Efficient ordering from very pleasant friendly staff. Tasty starters fish ceviche followed by Mahi mahi. Bread board.. selection of warm assortment of artisan breads with 2 large slices of herb butter YUM. Fried Polenta was gorgeous with nice dressing. The chicken tikka was one of the BEST I have ever had . Served with Jasmin rice and naan bread. All food beautifully presented . Spoke to the manager Noel tonight a very pleasant chap ..this was only their second week open since COVID 19. This place is must to visit for drinks cocktails and a delicious dinner. Please visit the BVI if you can .. there needs to be places like this to visit a otherwise the BVI may not EVER be the same again let’s get the BVI economy going again! Highly recommend .Great staff great food great location . Spectacular sunset.

My husband and I traveled to CIBC Feb. 13 through the 20th. We have been staying here for over 20 years spanning the old CIBC as well as most recent owners. We were scheduled to go to CIBC the November after the Virgin Islands were devastated by the hurricanes. We returned last year after they reopened. Last year things were good but this year all the gardening and landscaping have made such an amazing come back. It is more verdant than I can imagine. Andy and his staff have made it their mission to plant edibles used in the restaurant and bar. As always Sam's staff is amazing! They always treat us like family. ! The food is amazing! For me there is always a place on the beach where I can relax and read in the shade. My husband said it may have been the best trip to CIBC we have ever made. Thank you to all of the staff for making our vacation memorable!

This is our favorite place (especially with Saba Rock / Bitter End closed) and always spend two of our 8 nights here when we're on our bareboat vacation. It's a gorgeous setting, the restaurant, coffee bar and Rum bar are excellent. It's easy to take a dingy up to Cistern point to snorkle. Great place to spend a few days! This time we were able to secure our mooring through the new Boaty Ball app but while we were just off the two main docks, we were in a kind of swirly / odd current area. Normally our mooring ball has been a calm, easy swim to shore experience. Not sure what was going on this year but you could see the boats all swinging around in all different directions, strange!
