I don't get it. We came off several days of really long hikes and we kept talking up the rooftop pool to my daughter. I was excited to relax on the roof. The joke is on us. There is nowhere to relax outside.of.our smelly room. The pool is the worst. It's ice cold, small, unlit and crazy loud because it's next to the bar and you have to go all the way down to the lobby to get towels (wtf?) I'm sure the bar is lovely if you are either 20 years old or deaf, but it was so loud that I was almost in tears waiting for the elevator. I have no idea why anyone would want to go there. The room smells, has no phone and just a few hangars for storage.
My brother and I stayed here for a night and found the hotel to be fantastic. The beach is right across the street. The place has a fantastic rooftop bar with incredible views of the ocean. The room we stayed in was quite large and spacious. Everything was super clean. Air conditioning was ice cold. Got a terrific deal from Hopper. Service was also fantastic. The only parking is valet parking for $20 and it is worth every penny. The hotel is close to quite a few restaurants and bars, all within walking distance. It was quite a pleasure staying here and will definitely stay here again.
The rooms were updated since the last time I visited. The front desk staff are excellent and always very helpful. The location is the best part about this hotel. If you're looking to just have a nice spot at the beach, I would recommend.
Wonderful place to stay! We were here a week and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The room was decent, though would love to have been able to open the wi dows at night to get the ocean breeze and listen to the waves. The staff went above and beyond for us. Be a decent human, understanding that no one is perfect. They will do their best for you! The food at both restaurants is very good. The rooftop is a must experience. Fine dining, great drinks and a view to behold the oceans splendor.
This is the perfect location . The rooftop restaurant was very good ! The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and knowledgeable about different activities. The room wasn’t very clean, they are in need for a remodel.
This was my first time in Puerto Rico I didn’t like the bar service in the hotel way to expensive and the drinks were weak. I ordered a piña colada my fiancé order a corona and the corona was in a small can and my piña colada was so milky it made my stomach hurt I couldn’t finish it to top it off for the smallest drinks it was 27$ we felt completely ripped off. Also the room has no storage no dressers also the bed is very very hard. Feels like you are sleeping on springs with a sheet for the amount of money I was being charged I expected better. On a scale of 1-10 I would give this hotel a 6 too expensive for the service and things you received from this place you’d be better off staying somewhere else or getting an Air B&B for a total of 1779$ for 4 nights
Place was dirty no hot water no water pressure. No phone in the room, no nightstands nor closets. Absolutely ridiculous. Management was rude, I left next morning refused to give me a refund for the rest of the week!
Great beach front hotel for a great price! It does have some quirks as they are currently in the process of renovation. Staff are wonderful and are more than happy to give you recommendations for things to do while on your vacation.
NOT AS ADVERTISED!!!!!! We traveled to San Juan for a work conference and decided to get some space from the host hotel and thought the Water and Beach club looked super cool and had great reviews and was walking distance from the conference. When we first arrived we were surprised by the lack of ambiance and construction in the lobby, but were impressed by the girls at the front desk. They were cheerful and helpful-- Natalia was especially great. We went up to our room on a musty elevator with moving blankets hanging on the walls. Again, we tried to stay positive. Our room was lackluster-- the view was mostly of a worn out building, and it was LOUD. Drilling and hammering going on all of the time. The toilet clogged multiple times. No where to put clothes away--we lived out of suitcases which was just a mess... all this for $750 a night?!?!! We did enjoy KUMO Rooftop for food and cocktails, but the pool was a joke. Blurry glass with a freezing cold small pool and a bunch of guys from an air BNB (not hotel guests) occupying the only 6 chairs available. The photos we saw online for O:Live suites were completely different than what we actually got. I totally understand how they are offering rooms at 50% off with NO Refunds. We ended up paying full price in case our flights or something got wonky. Anyway--- front desk girls and Kumo were only good things about this place. The hotel overall was outdated, dusty, loud and just a bummer. We've paid way less for things twice as nice as this place!!! PS- the 6 "doormen" are unnecessary as they were unhelpful and just stood around. …
The room we booked looks nothing like the picture no microwave on the property no mini fridge in the room front desk could careless about you I would not recommend this hotel better off in a Airbnb I repeat do not go there!
