Need to go! So relaxing! Went in March when the weather was cold(only 3 degreesF) and windy. Still went in the hot springs. They have lockers for a quarter and showers. Can change in the locker room. Don't be afraid that it will be too cold bc your in your swimsuit. The steam from the hot springs keeps you from... More

The hot springs are nice when it's dark. The rest of it is minging. If you have a car drive there and don't take a 'tour' from fairbanks. Plus if you accidentally leave your camera or something expensive there and need it back.... don't email them because they don't respond and also after the 4th call explaining what I have... More

I just visited Chena and it was a lot of fun. The drive out there is very beautiful. The hot springs are very refreshing and the water feels great. The restaurant food was delish. The clam chowder is amazing. Also have the salmon infused vodka Bloody Mary. Take the ice museum tour. Travis was a great guide and the appletini... More

About 60 miles east from Fairbanks at the end of the paved road, there is a wooden gate, behind which is the parking lot, buildings and hotels. And signs to the pools. Following the signs, I found the green building where I bought the ticket (13usd). The lockers (25 cents), showers and dressing rooms are right behind the corner. There... More

This was a disappointment. There was a pool and jacuzzi filled with the hot spring water and one large relaxing pool for adults. Water did not seem clean but maybe that is how hot springs normally occur. The ice museum was a 45 minute tour that you were allowed to explore on your own. I was done in 10 min

I've stayed for a 5 nights stay on December. Loved the trails and dog sledge. The hotsprings is a must to do. It's great if you don't intend to leave the resort, as it's a bit far from downtown Fairbanks. It's hard to get tired of staying there on all covered snow place.

I drove 7 hours in a motor home from Wasilla with my family only to get to the hot springs and see it teeming with people. We turned back and continued on to Valdez. This is not a family friendly place from what I can tell since children can't be in the hot springs and... why would adults want to... More

We loved our visit to the hot springs and took several tours while there. The water was good for my sore back, penetrating to the pain. There is also a pipe with flowing hot water to stand under so your back gets a free massage. The cost for all day using the springs is $15. we camped for $20 a... More

Locals and tourists alike go to this busy commercial enterprise at the end of the Chena road - a rustic kind of place with casual Alaskan standards of shabby/chic depending on building age and time to paint/ clean. The food is good, flowers are everywhere and lovely, The outdoor rock enclosed pool is pleasant but lacks seating. However, people enjoy... More
