I have traveled around the world and the conditions of our rooms ranks amongst the must disgusting I have experienced. Taking advantage of foreign travelers, room rates were outlandish. Staff was unwilling to put us in an alternative, more sanitary room. Is there any kind of state inspection program? If so must be a joke as this place would fail...

Visited whilst staying near Fairbanks. Great facilities - i went in the hot springs which were awesome (if not almost TOO hot), the bar for a drink and snack and then the ice museum. You could easily spend a good portion of a day at the springs. Everyone is friendly and willing to help.

This hotel is a huge waste of money. I paid $150.00 a night for a room that was absolutely gross and made me feel like I needed to shower every time I walked into it. There was mold all over the air vents. Would never stay here again and would suggest anyone who is planning a visit and stay here,...

The moment we drove into the resort, we felt that it is a different world. It is very peaceful. The hotel is in a valley. I was so surprised to see a huge airplane parked not far from the gate. The highlight of the hotel includes the best ever hot spring and the dog sled ride. The downsides are hotel...

The hotel is not fancy. Clean but very dated. Oh well you won't spend that much time in there anyways. The Hot Springs are wonderful!! So unique, romantic and relaxing. We came with our two children that are 2yo & 5yo. You have to be 18yo to go in the hot springs. They have a great indoor pool so my...

This resort is an excellent place for viewing the Northern Lights, and the restaurant is very good. However, we found the rooms to be sub-par for a resort, more like a Super 8 Motel room, and did not get our room serviced 2 of the 4 days we stayed there. Also, do not count on wi-fi or cell phone communications....

This was our first Alaskan experience. Hot springs was relaxing, ice museum was impressive and the snow coach to the top of the mountain gave great views of the northern lights. I do wish they would have been more diligent about letting guests know when the lights were visible in the middle of the night. The hot spring got crowded...

Older resort. Food and waitstaff were excellent! Front desk staff pleasant enough. Suggestions for fellow visitors: get there before dark to find an open plug in if you're driving; bring quarters for the locker room; leave your towels in the locker room; avoid weekends when partying young people from Fairbanks drive out or get there early enough to enjoy the...

For a "Real Alaska" getaway you'd be hard pressed to beat Chena Hot Springs. My wife an I went for the day and had a wonderful time. Chena is not some glitzy tourist place butis a good wholesome romantic place to go with someone you care about. The drive is about an hour and 15 minutes from Fairbanks so plan...
