Classy place to stay in Ronda, great location, just a few minutes walk from the famous old bridge. It is situated in a beautiful old buliding, the rooms are spacious and very decorative, with many little details. Great shopping and eating possibilities nearby. Take the breakfast, the basic version is very good, but the version with fruits is excellent! Worth... More

We are a choir and there was 36 of us staying for 2 nights. Great hotel perfect location and fabulous staff very friendly. Ronda was a perfect place for us to stay whilst performing a concert there and moving onto Cadiz. We organise lots of places to stay and this was one of the best.

Our room was not ready when we arrived so we were quickly given an upgrade. The staff here is so friendly, helpful and efficient. Make sure you sign up for breakfast. It is more than worth the $5 you pay for it. The hotel is so centrally located and the nights were quiet. We will stay here again!

great place to stay , note the road is not on sta nav nor is the hotel so you have to check directions. Trad old fashioned Spanish décor - delightfully appointed rooms and public areas. Staff couldn't be more helpful even when we arr at 1:30 in morning due to car hire issues. Breakfast basic but not a prob

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The staff was wonderful. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable of Ronda. They provided a pamphlet that, starting from the hotel, gave us a very good walking tour of Ronda and its many sights. We asked for a restaurant recommendation with a view of the bridge and cliff. They recommended a restaurant with... More

Perfect location for walking to and from all the sights and attractions of old Ronda. We arrived by train and it was a quick and easy 6€ ride to the hotel. We had 3 rooms; all were clean and spacious. Mine on the top floor looked across the rooftops of the old quarter. The bed was really comfortable with high... More

This hotel was the best hotel we stayed in over our 2 week vacation. It had the best double bed and bathroom adorned with Andulacian tiles and arches and a jacuzi. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I'd stay there again and again...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
This carefully restored building dates from the 18th century and lies in the most historic district of Ronda, surrounded by ancient monuments.Retaining much of its original charm, the San Gabriel still displays an attractive stone façade and the coat of arms of one of its former owners. Spend a quiet moment in the library corner or in the typically Andalusian courtyard, full of plants and a trickling fountain. Here you can start the day with the hotel’s delicious breakfast. You can also enjoy a film in the intimate cinema room, which includes red velvet seats taken from the city’s old cinema. Combined with its privileged location, the hotel facilities make this a truly authentic Spanish setting for your holiday in rural Andalusia. ... more   less
