Itamandi EcoLodge is a secluded haven in eastern Ecuador close to several rivers packed with recreation and sightseeing. The rooms are perfect for the locale, lots of windows and views (although no fans). The food is good, mostly from local markets. The pool, rafting, boating,

We spent 2 nights in this lodge located near the river. Our room was right over the river (rooms 1,2,3,4 or 5 are nice and had a view of the river). The amenities are fine but the water in the shower is hard to mix. Nice swimming pool too. The food is very good in the

Stayed at this lovely eco lodge in the jungle with a GAdventures group. As other reviews noted, no wifi or internet available. Not all rooms have electrical outlets, but there is a large charging station in the common area (just leave your electronics, no one will take them!).

We had an INCREDIBLE time. We visited during late April, and it was the perfect time of year. We were the ONLY guests in the lodge the first night and day, which was super fun. We had the pool to ourselves and got to know the staff well during meals. The staff was so kind,

We rented a car, the drive from Quito to Tena is only a couple of hours. If you choose a car rental, you can park right where they pick you up by boat.

Hello John, We are really sorry for the late response. We didn't notice about your question because we didn't receive any notification. Because of this we would like to offer you a discount if you decide to visit us any time. To answer your questions, the price for the cabañas with a great river view depends on the number of days you would like to visit us. From Tena you will have to arrive to the meeting place (Arajuno River Bridge) located at 45 minutes by car from Tena. Once you arrive there you will have to take a canoe 20 minutes from the bridge to Itamandi. From Tena to Itamandi takes around 1h30. Feel free to contact us any time.

No. The lodge is only accessible by canoe and only a very very small trail, about 30minutes where you can walk, all trips are taken by canoe to other places with guides. Hope this info helps.

We stayed in the main lodge and it was quiet and lovely. It's upstairs and there may be more breeze there. Wherever you stay, it will be wonderful!
