Every day was an adventure from a day trip to a Ngobe village to a private concert of local musicians. Owner Michelle shared her wealth of information about the area with us. Fabulous meals made with her organically grown produce. Jump off the dock and swim to the coral reef nearby. Bungalow over the water was fantastic while the jungle...

The website explains the resort exactly the way it is. Laid back, relaxing. My friend and I stayed 7 nights at Casa Sarasa in the cabana over the carribean ocean. It was such an amazing experience to wake up every morning with the sound of waves gently rippling beneath you. The hospitality was above and beyond excellent service. We were...

I feel sheepishly bad that I had not submitted my review before, but I think I must have mixed up my letter I left in the guest book with an actual review! La Luna was just what my trip was in need of and I was so fortunate to have found it. We originally were headed to Costa Rica and...

The description on the De La Luna website is really spot on..believe what you read. This place is a mystical jungle-hippy-foodie-nature-lover's paradise. My 2 brothers and I were set up in Casa Sarasa, over the water for 3 nights. Michelle arranged for us to go spearfishing w a couple of local guys on our 2nd day. The 5 gallon bucket...

De La Luna is an incredible place to stay, off the beaten path. Michelle, the expat who runs the place, makes the resort what it is. She's fun, quirky, hangs out with her guests, and above all, super super accommodating. She's there to make your stay memorable and will bend over backwards to make you happy. The food was delicious,...
