Beautiful property and gorgeous sunsets. We had an ocean view room on the second floor with a huge picture window and we never got tired of looking out. Not much of a beach but enough sand to find quite a few shells and seaglass; my kids and husband swam. Hotel restaurant was good and we used room service several times. No complaints! Would definitely return.

Booked this hotel 2 weeks prior to arriving to Rincon for a short family stay. I was very impressed because honestly I did not know what to expect. There's a guard at the entrance. Front desk staff were nice and very accommodating. Food and drinks were good, a litttle pricey but you're on vacation. The access to the beach was nice. Beach was clean. No seaweed. Views from restaurant, bar, second floor landing was great. It is a short walk from liquor store, convenience store and other restaurants and small bars. I would definitely go back.

I was pleasantly surprised by Villa Cofresi. the staff were warm and accommodating and the location is convenient. We were in room 217 and we had a balcony that faced the ocean. You are away from the bar area so it’s quiet. Room was very clean. Air conditioner kept the room cool and the dehumidifier kept it dry. Hotel is very simple but it has everything you need. Food and drinks are solid and the staff are amazing. Fantastic sunsets.

I read some of the reviews and decided to give Villa Cofresi a try and I am glad I did. We had an absolutely wonderful vacation here, and it is largely due to the service of the employees at this resort. Service was excellent from the front desk as well as the bartenders and waitresses in the bar and restaurant. My initial experience was not great, the room we were given was not very nice, right near a staircase with a window facing the pool and a walkway that every uses so we would not have been able to keep the blinds open. We went to the front desk and they quickly moved us to another location that was perfect. Quiet area but a beautiful view and short walk to a balcony facing the ocean. A/C worked very well and the room was clean with a small refrigerator. We didnt use the TV much but it has only local stations. The most impressive feature of this resort is the view of the ocean from the bar/restaurant and pool areas. There is seating along the railing directly over the beach. Sunsets are spectacular. In spite of the heat (July), we felt comfortable sitting in the bar area because of the breeze from the ocean. There is direct access to the beach and many people were swimming in the ocean. There are no chairs or umbrellas on the beach, you would need to bring your own. The pool is very nice although it is smaller than it seems in the pictures. There were alot of people there so we didnt spend much time in the pool area but it was nice and clean. The resort is located within walking distance of other restaurants and an area of food trucks and stalls with local foods. The food at the restaurant in the resort was excellent and also very reasonable. We drove to Aguadilla and Aguada as well as Crashboat beach. All are within a reasonable drive although the roads are a bit of a challenge. Overall, an amazing experience, everyone on the staff was friendly and attentive. We will definitely plan to visit again. One suggestion when you are booking, look at the hotels website as well as other external sites. There were more room types available by booking directly with the hotel.…

Villa Cofresi is not worth visiting unless you are staying there. I have been going to Villa Cofresi for almost 20 years but everything has changed. You can no longer visit as before. I have gone 3 different times to eat, I live 2 hours from Villa Cofresí and every time I go they are always full, they do not allow reservations. The staff gives priority to guests, which is understandable, but they should have a system for people like me who travel from afar to eat there. The staff has told me all 3 times that their guests come first to go elsewhere. They won’t try to accommodate far away visitors. And the smart comments the staff make are truly unnecessary specially from the security guard. It’s truly a shame because it wasn’t like this. I will truly miss this place. I will no longer go back and I don’t recommend this place as a visitor, you will waste your time traveling there.…

Your restaurant and hotel was highly recommended to me by clients and the owners of our Airbb. Last week my husband and I wanted to have a drink and see the hotel, but the parking attendant would not let us enter your establishment. He said that we needed a reservation to have a drink. I speak Spanish and there was not a language barrier. I was very disappointed and won't stay or recommend your establishment. We had to go somewhere else and they were very accommodating. I tried to write this on your website, but it kicked me out.

Hotel Villa Cofresi is a magical place. Our 4 weeks stay could not have been any better! The "family style" hotel provided a magical experience. Service, environment and facility exceeded our expectations. The relatively small hotel is conveniently located in Rincon. Indeed, town and world class restaurants (Vacas-Gauchas, Baku) are minutes (walking) away. Sunset walks, swimming, sailing, water sports available always. The property makes it easy to not rent a car, to dress casually and relax. During our stay, sunset time became a ritual. Spectacular ocean views, cloud formations and sky colors are recognized among the best anywhere. We will return often and soon to Villa Cofresi.

This hotel is on the beach with a great outdoor bar. A very low key and relaxing hotel. It is well maintained and the staff is very friendly. They’re known for the Pirata drink in a coconut. There is no better place to watch the sunset in Puerto Rico.

The room was large and clean, with an in-room fridge. The restaurant and bar were really excellent and reasonably priced. The hotel and bar are RIGHT on the beach. It laps at the bar at high tide. The pool was very clean and had lots of lounge space around. Staff at the restaurant and bar were extremely attentive. Breakfast is available. No lobby or room coffee, but had some at the bar overlooking the ocean. The hotel has taken measures to ensure that the facilities are used only for guests, so overcrowding was not an issue. Biggest negative was thin walls with loud TV in the adjoining room.
