The hotel isn’t in the best location, so I would recommend hiring a car. The pool area was nice and clean, there were lots of sunbeds available. We only ate from the breakfast menu, but the food was okay, and repetitive. We ate out for lunch and dinner, tried to book the hotel restaurant twice for the set menu, but they only had the buffet for dinner time. The room had a comfy, and huge king sized bed, a big bathroom, nice balcony, and was tidy. However, there were a few ants in my room, so don’t leave any food out. The hotel was mainly quiet, not a lot of people and not much going on, there wasn’t much staff, so service was slow at times. We enjoyed the cocktails and relaxing by the pool. We didn’t stay in the hotel much, but enjoyed a few nights on the balcony. We had the street view, but you could see the mountains and sea in the distance. We didn’t use the spa facilities, and parking was 8 euro a night, but there was street parking for free. We parked on the street and no problems the whole week. There were a few local things, we went to two restaurants one next to the hotel, one 10 minutes walk away, and a few supermarkets. The beach is a 15-20 minute walk. We took a taxi to Puerto Banus, which was only a 10 minute drive, cost around 15 euros.

Let down by nonsensical things, nice basic four star boutique style hotel a bit noisy near N340 and major roundabout but generally clean and well appointed, consider the following before booking 1. No bar or soft drinks available until 12.30 pm even peak season , no pool service at anytime , 2. Limited on road free parking adjacent , hotel has own car park at €15 per night 3.spa entry costs €25 pp for two hour session all treatments extra and pricey. 4. Staff few and far between 5. Aircon in room is override from main reception and lowest cool setting is 19 deg not low enough in hot weather , reception immovable on adjusting this , rooms have minimal linen provided , no bath mats robes, face cloths etc. A few adjustments would make guests happier and venue more attractive

I loved this hotel and my stay. This is our second visit to this hotel. First time was July 2018 and then this week. We stayed for 3 nights with half board (breakfast and dinner). This was a spontaneous trip, my partner booked it the day before arrival as we are only 40minutes away. TLDR: great hotel, lovely staff, great pool areas and restaurant. Cold breakfast and sometimes slow service at the bars. Location: It's not really close to anything, so if you don't have a car, to get out and about you would need to taxi. The beach is across the motorway, I drove so not sure if its safe to walk there. Parking: 3rd party booking site said there was no parking available, I was worried about this as there was an underground carpark in 2018. On arrival I checked, and there is underground parking at €10 per night. I feel that's quite reasonable. Room: We had a deluxe double. This had a pool view, which they had upgraded us to on arrival. It was a nice room, clean, nice towels and plenty of the expected toiletries. The bed was hard. Not an issue for me, but my partner struggled, so something to bear in mind! Safe was available at no extra charge, which I always like to see! Alot of places charge for this! Complimentary water in the room (small bottles), but a nice touch. TV didn't have much choice, only Spanish channels. Pool and pool bar: Pool area is great, nice sunbeds and plenty of parasols. The bar opens at 12:30 (I think!). Snacks are quite expensive and probably not what I would call 'snacks', we are talking club sandwich/burger, main meals and some tapas type dishes. We did eat twice at the pool bar. No issues, food was fine (but a little pricey €14 for a club sandwich and chips). You can find yourself waiting to be served, as seems the staff are trying to cover other areas of the hotel at the same time. A large beer was €4. They had a good selection of cocktails available, but I didn't try these. Lobby bar: They seemed to have a good selection of wines etc. My partner drinks semi sweet white wine (🤢) and they had an option for him. I'm a brut cava kinda girl, and they had that available by the glass... only issue was there was no flutes available, and mine was served in a red wine glass so was flat in 5 minutes! I'd seen the previous barman open the bottle not more than 2 hours before, so it wasn't the bottle that was the issue. But anyway, who wants cava in a red wine glass? Barman was happy to source me a flute (from downstairs in the restaurant) and replaced my flat cava for a fresh one, so no complaints there! There is an issue here though. The barman is also helping in the restaurant downstairs. Both times I went to the lobby bar, I had to ask reception to call him up for service. Restaurant: The restaurant wasn't very busy during our stay. There is a set menu, starter, main and pudding. Starters are not quite what you would expect a starter to be... think Spanish 'menu del dia', so if you get a salad it's the size you'd expect for a main! Every bit of food we ate in the restaurant was beautiful! Perfectly cooked fish, pork cheeks and the ox tail croquettes were to die for! We throughly enjoyed every meal. Breakfast: Here there is definitely as issue. The hot selection, is cold. I'm not talking luke warm, it's cold. I could put my fingers on the hot plate and not get burnt. Aside from this, coffee is okay, not the best but does the job. The selection of cheeses, cured meats and bread is great. Staff: Very, very friendly! Reception, bar staff, house keeping all very pleasant and cant do enough for you! To finish: Please do your research before staying here... as it may not be what you are expecting. There is no tea/coffee facilities in the room, and it's not beach front. They don't claim either of these to be true on their website or 3rd party booking sites. I say this as someone that stayed here 5 years ago and didn't check 🙈 Would I stay here again? YES Would I recommend to friends/family? YES Sent from Outlook for Android

An absolute waste of money. Way to expensive. The charge you basicly everything. Almost on the highway. Nothing special. Rooms clean. Staff nice. Booked 6 months in front for a wedding in the area. And still too expensive. Hard beds. Pillows bad.

An Impromptu stay over for one night. Tried to book it on Hotels.com but communication swerve in adequate. Drove to the Hotel and were greeted by excellent front desk lady. She couldn’t find our link to Hotels.com and immediately offered us an even better deal on the junior suite, to include breakfast and parking at a slightly lower pice e en. The breakfast buffet was outstanding and the suite was 4*+ with a huge wraparound balcony with a 2 seater hot tub. Great Impression throughout.

We booked very last minute, 48 hours before we arrived. The location suited us as we knew the area very well. We stayed on a Bed and Breakfast basis, we only had breakfast twice, however it was good, a good selection of hot and cold items, pastries and fruits too. The room was more than adequate for us for 7 days, and I am known to be fussy. Double vanity area in bathroom was really useful, it had everything we needed. Towels changed daily/when needed, same as sheets. Housekeeping were very good and the balcony was a good size with nice furniture. Pool area was fine, but we were early in the month so can imagine it gets busy. Bar serves on weekends only, again that may be a late April early May thing. Staff are all friendly too. Parking is 15€ a day but there was plenty of free on road parking in the area, so we didn't pay once. You can walk to a few places, including a supermarket, restaurant and bar but would suggest a car to explore the area and there are so many nice bars and restaurants within 5 min drive. Would recommend and return.

Birthday present so not my choice. Characterless. Receptionists were welcoming. Public spaces and room was clean. Corridors had broke floor tiles and damaged ceiling tiles. Treated ourselves to the Spa. Had to buy a swim hat. 90 minutes was more than enough. Had a good selection of saunas, fountains, waterfalls and relaxing areas, as well as a small pool, though it was busy. With being out of season bars weren’t staffed and reception had to get a member of staff to service. Breakfast had a good selection and did have Gluten Free rolls on offer.

He went with 13 other men. All positive reviews on the hotel itself, really enjoyed the pool and breakfast. They went out for the afternoon evening if not by the pool so no comments on dinning. They were happy with their location and would return. My only issue with the communication and making payment / refund. Would recommend a review of their payment process.

Nice clean hotel, biggest problem is a total lack of staff. In the evenings you have to explor the hotle to find a batman to operate the bar. In addition if you like the smell of Burger King, its just a 100 yards away, as is the four lane highway, so constant traffic noise. Taxi to Estepona is 12 to 15 euros each way. This is because there is very little to dowithin walking distance, once you have eaten in the local 3 restaurants.

Location is not fab if you want to be close to a town, it is approx 18 euros in a taxi to Estepona, there are supermarkets, pharmacy and a few nice restaurants 10 mins walk away, the beach is approx 20-30 min walk away accessed by crossing the foot bridge over the A7 pass the petrol station, next left, straight down there is a nice restaurant ‘Pepe’s’ on the beach, it’s a lovely location for an evening meal. The hotel does need some TLC in the pool area, the decking areas have seen better days both my son and husband put a foot through, maintenance were called immediately and repairs made, the pool is a nice size but it does require some maintenance, the plastic casing around the waterfall is broken, the flooring around the pool would benefit from a good clean, a sweep every evening would make a huge difference we stayed for a week on day 1 there were peanuts by the cabana left by previous guests and they were still there 7 days later. Sun beds and pool towels appear new and perfectly acceptable, the x 2 cabanas are 30 euros a day and worth having if you require shade and some comfort but they are a little rickety. We found the food from the pool bar fine but some days it opened late because staff could not be located and there is nowhere else to get drinks from but staff were very pleasant and accommodating We only ate breakfast in the hotel, tbh the selection of hot food was as we expected, chorizo sausage or hotdogs, scrambled and fried eggs daily, mushrooms one day mixed veg the next, in our experience it’s a Spanish fry up and when in Spain!!! There was a good selection of fruit, continental meats, pastries and cakes! I believe there is a buffet dinner option for 20 euros. Being an adults only hotel we thought the hotel bar would be very busy of an evening but it was empty every night, I think the lack of atmosphere may be the problem, the TV was on every night showing football!!! Because the bar was empty we had to ask reception to call a barman, we had a drink every evening before going out for dinner and upon our return, lots of guests walked through the bar but appeared to not be impressed and chose not to stay! The interior communial areas are well tended to, there is a large lobby with a pool table and a shop selling bags and beachwear (nice stuff, reasonably priced). Lift serving all floors. We had 2 rooms, we requested one double and one twin but allocated two twins my husband and I were a little disappointed but it didn’t ruin our holiday)! both rooms were very clean and certainly adequate, well maintained with mini fridge, safe, TV, no tea making facilities but I asked reception for a kettle and cups and they delivered immediately! Rooms serviced daily by lovely ladies who greeted us with a smile and buenos Dias every morning as we left our room for breakfast. The staff here cannot be faulted they made us feel very welcome, I think there just needed to be more of them. The spa is reasonably priced 20 euros for hotel guests and the facilities are excellent, again a little TLC required the casing to the controls in the wave pool weren’t just broken it was absent! The spa offers 14 different relaxing stations it is well worth spending 90 mins of your holiday relaxing here, the changing rooms are immaculate! Staff pleasant but a little abrupt and judgemental, on our last day our sons 22 and 27 joined us in the spa, as our 27yr old entered the spa area he was abruptly questioned by a member of staff who asked him who he was with and had he paid!!!
