I had the pleasure of staying at the Manor House Inn for an entire week and loved every minute of it. Recently under new management, Kevin and Maya display exemplary customer service. The room was immaculate, all meals were well presented and delicious and the skittle alley is wonderful for big groups of friends or large family parties. 20/10 We'll... More

I booked the manor for a 2 day business meeting and I have to say it was nothing but perfect. We were looked after very well, the meeting room was great and in the evening we sat down to a fantastic meal. One of our team enjoyed the ceasar salad ... Decided to call into the Manor on way back from Bruton. Just a few minutes off the A37, we hadn't visited for some time. We were only looking for a snack and not disappointed. The Soup was fantastic, white onion in a creamy sauce with fresh bread and the mixed ploughman's with cheese ( 4 ), scotch egg, pork pie &... More

We came to the Manor Inn for a Sunday Roast in January, we were having one of those - can't be bothered to cook days! We phoned up at 1:20pm to check availability & were told a table would be available at 2pm, we were already in the car about 20 minutes away so we just headed on over &... More

Hi Sammy sometimes the bar does get quite busy especially if Paul Nicholls (racehorse trainer) has had a famous victory, we tend to get all the village locals in to celebrate. I'm pleased we were able to find you a table in the quieter restaurant area where you were able to enjoy table service, and it's nice to know the... More

I'm finding myself more and more in this part of the area and if I have to stay away from home I like to feel comfortable as if I was at home. The Manor House offers that feeling with a warm welcome from the staff, a comfortable room with lovely modern facilities. The bar area is a typical quaint locals... More

Lunch with my sister. Delicious, wide menu and variety of prices. We both had their super burger and it was super! Friendly and unobtrusive service, nothing to fault. Comfortable in a good pubby way. Lots of photographs of the famous race horses that train in the village with Paul Nicholls. I gather there can be quite a party when the... More

The area and venue is steeped in history, Horse Racing especially with the famous previous home/stables of "Big Bucks" and "Kauto Star" being a short walk away at the Paul Nicholls trainers yard and their images depicted within the MHI. Part of the establishment, pub, inn plus B & B is 17th century and offers a freshly cooked menu, local... More

My girlfriend and I found this place by luck on way our way home last week and Upon arrival we were greeted and sat in the restaurant very quickly and we hadn't even booked. The front of house staff obviously weren't happy about something or were just stressed as they were very blunt with me and my wife and the... More

Dear James thank you for taking the time to review us. I'm sorry your visit was tainted by poor service, but pleased you appreciated the quality of food and ales. I have spoken to the employee concerned who was very apologetic. He had just worked 7 x 15 hr days straight (due to staff shortages) and was just extremely tired.... More

We spent a night here whilst visiting some National Trust properties in the area. On arrival we received a warm and friendly welcome and shown to our room. The room was very pleasantly decorated, with a fantastic shower room. We had dinner and were more than pleased, service from the staff was excellent, my husband's steak and my belly pork... More
